My son's wedding was held Sept 25th, at the Beaver Station Cultural & Event Center. Despite the…read moreHiccups you experience during every big event, no matter how well you plan, those wheels kept on rolling to the very end. As the mother of the groom, it appears I was left out of some pertinent information and with this being said, I will send my kudos to the event planners at the station, thank you for your smile, support, quick thinking, and hard work! They had my back and didn't even miss a beat! Nor did it matter if it was me, or anyone else on site, they handling things like a well-oiled machine. I can't be more pleased with the turn out and the follow up. Even after the event Leanne took care of me, and that meant the world to me. Not to mention, the place is beautiful, starting with the environment, the nostalgia the place exuded and the mystery the place as a whole held right down to the very near live train going by. Make sure you tell your guests to take a walk down memory lane, and explore the restored historic site, it is just exquisite. Even with the bumps that the guests nearly noticed, we all had a marvelous time. Thank you again!

The venue is an old train station that has been transformed into a BEAUTIFUL museum and event center! Leanne and her staff made everything with planning so easy, she provided us with so many suggestions for awesome vendors and helped coordinate everything so that our day went flawlessly! It rained on our wedding day (but it's supposed to be good luck!!) and we were supposed to have an outdoor ceremony, I was freaking out but they were able to quickly change our plans for us to an indoor ceremony and everything turned out amazing!! I couldn't have asked for a better day and a huge part of that was thanks to the amazing team that they have there. If you're planning an event in beaver county I definitely recommend checking them out!!

I went to an event here for a work. Two tickets were given to me so I do not know how much they…read morecost. Upon arriving to the event, employees were at the front entrance opening the doors and directing us where to go. The inside was well decorated and very clean. There were several chairs in the lobby. The floors were partly carpet and partly tile. The tile was not fun in wet heels (it had just rained really hard). I was not to fond with the color of the walls, they were a like a dark green on top and orange on the bottom, or vise versa. We walked into the dining area where tables were all set with glasses, two bottles of wine, silverware, salads, rolls, and slices of white and chocolate cake. We did not know where the bar was until a guy magically slid the wall over and revealed a whole new area. It was like a large crackled glass wall but with a sliding door. There was a full bar with tables around the bar area. It was a pretty big area. There's also a separate outside entrance that we did not see when we arrived. There are several doors inside the bar area and dining area that led to a large outside covered deck with a beautiful view. When it was time for dinner we went back into the dining area to our tables. The salad was good, but I did not like the ranch dressing. There were pecans on all the salads and I found that odd they didn't ask if anyone was allergic. Before going to this event they asked if we wanted vegetarian or chicken and my friend and I both opted for vegetarian. Our entrees were brought out promptly following our salads. Everyone at our table had the chicken besides us. When our meals were brought out they brought us the wrong entree. They quickly replaced it with the right ones though. It was a big plate of brown rice and roasted vegetables including cauliflower, snow peas, squash, corn, and something that looked like a large celery stock but it wasn't. While the meal looked good, it was just very plain and bland. There are lots of options you can do for vegetarian meals so it was a little disappointing how boring it was. The cake was very good, but they didn't ask what you preferred, you just had to take the piece in front of you. Everything was exactly on time as they had it on the place cards and the employees were all friendly. The venue was very nice and welcoming. The event ended on time due to the employees working their butts off to make that happen so kudos to that! It is a great place to have an event, but maybe more food options?

This club has a potential to be a five star rating and my book. However the day that I chose to go…read morewas seemingly groundskeeper day. They were running mowers and fertilizing/spraying for weeds. They were resetting pin locations and doing routine maintenance all at once. The workers did not stop nor try to let you hit while mowing no more than 15 feet away from you. It was very bothersome. And another reason one star got knocked off was the course was very very spongy and it was not rainy leading up to the day we golf. It seemed to retain water like crazy. However the sand traps were placed and awesome locations, one green is even entirely enclosed by a Sandtrap. I did like the course and I will play it again and I hope it is not so wet and they're not doing maintenance. Overall I would go and give it a shot if you are thinking about it.
