I am bummed. This was our third time and really disappointed to say that the experience wasn't as good as the first two times. The service was still really good, it was my steak that was awful. I ordered the NY Strip and it was fatty and had a huge nerve running through it making it tough to cut and chew. I decided to send it back and the steak that came back out was WORSE! As a result, I had no dinner. On the flip side, my mom got the salmon and she said it was delicious. I also got the Caprese salad and it was really yummy so not all bad! Visiting family in PA and we met here for dinner. Very nice inside but the service was very very slow. While we didn't mind it too much, because we were visiting, it did take a long time before our food arrived. It even took a while before a bread basket arrived to help tie us over while waiting for dinner to be served. I ordered salmon, medium, and it arrived medium well. Not the best salmon dish I've ever had but edible. My husband ordered the Shrimp Alfredo. He said it was good but they only gave you 5 little shrimp. Portion sizes are smaller than usual. We really wanted their crab cakes as my sister in law and step mom raved about them but they were out of them! So overall a bit disappointed with our meal and overall experience. I am giving them the benefit of a doubt with a 3 rating since family members liked this place in the past. But personally I would give it a 2 based on service and price value. After talking to the family the next day they were all disappointed with the food and service and said they probably would not return based on this experience. read more

Beautiful decor, (recently renovated) very large restaurant with the banquet halls and the motel rooms. The bartender , Jo was the best, talked to us, now we feel we're family. I would just go to the bar to chit chat with Jo. When seated for dinner (4 people) the set up was very nice. Our young waiter, Ra ( don't remember his full name) was on top of everything, removing dishes, bringing our drinks and apologizing for the long wait for our entrees. I've eaten at a lot of 5 star restaurants across America and Europe. This one ranks with the best. The atmosphere is relaxing. Everything is new and solid. There is nothing cheap or duplicated. Lighting, sound, entry, bar and kitchen were well planned. No TV, but light piano music accentuated the ambiance. Although my martini was not originally served correctly, the staff corrected it without a problem. My wife's lemon drop was perfect. The silverware and dinnerware are highly polished and without blemish or water stains. The wine and water glasses are the same as those found in other 5 star restaurants. Our waitress, Marty, was most pleasant. My wife ordered a glass of Parducci Merlot and I a glass of Rickshaw Sauvignon Blanc. Both were smooth. They complemented well our Chicken Parmesan and Chilea Sea Bass. Her spaghetti with marinara and my risotto were cooked to perfection, as were the broccoli we both ordered. The meal was rounded out by a side salad and dinner rolls. The homemade balsamic dressing was excellent. Because it was my birthday, we were treated to a complimentary cannoli. It was delicious. We're glad that Willow's is an upscale option for area residents and visitors. If you are looking for a quiet dinner spot, Willow's is it. We'll return. read more

When the Willows reopened with major upgrades we had to try it out! Have been a few times for dinner and also had Mother's Day Brunch here. The food is really great and the chefs are highly trained. The staff is very knowledgeable of the menu. Highly recommend. read more

Personally I wouldn't recommend. Service was slow. Food was not impressive at all. For my Appetizer I ordered the Calamari with Hot Peppers, Calamari was over cooked and tough. Was going to order a side salad, but wasn't going to pay $10, obviously overpriced. Main course was Fettuccine Alfredo Roasted chicken breast. Alfredo sauce was a little gritty and not creamy. Chicken was obviously overcooked. Plate presentation, I've seen better in a culinary school. The overall building and restaurant is beautifully designed. But overall, food is way overpriced for it's location. Advertising that Chef Gaetano Ascione is back, is obvious that they are trying to figure out how to draw customers. This is a review of the hotel rooms only. I didn't go to their restaurant. The rooms have been completely updated with beautiful beds, faux wood tile floors, heating and ac units, marble dresser tops, fancy dressers, and wonderful hot showers with soft and extra long bath towels. We snacked on some complimentary croissant sandwiches and cookies after we checked in. Our kids stayed in one of their double bed rooms which was really two singles with the dividing wall removed; very spacious and had two bathrooms. Friendly local staff. I'd recommend this place over any chain hotels in the area. read more

Very disappointed in the Mothers Day brunch! Out of everything poorly managed and food was less than satisfactory especially for $44/person

We went here for Easter brunch as it was advertised as a buffet, but it really wasn't, you were given a menu to order one entree from, then they had a table with salad fixings, olives, carrots, breads & a few other things along with a dessert table that had carrot cake, fudge balls,& a couple of different cakes, the cost of this Easter "buffet" was $65 pp which I felt was a bit pricey for a less than stellar presentation, most people would agree that a buffet should have carving stations and a good variety, this was far from that, the waitress that we had was not attentive and rarely came back to our table to ask if we needed anything, I wasn't impressed and am confident we won't be back read more

We are so happy we decided to come back for dinner!! We toured the venue with Tracy for our wedding and the entire place was absolutely stunning!! She was so sweet and very knowledgeable and was willing to work with us on whatever we needed to make us feel comfortable choosing this venue for our wedding. The motel rooms are fresh and beautiful. The ballrooms are breathtaking and the chandeliers along with the staircases stole the show. We were offered a free appetizer for dinner so we decided to come back later and try the food. We could not stop saying how delicious everything was. We ordered a crabcake and broccoli soup for appetizers and Jo brought us out the caprese tomatoes and mozzarella as a surprise since we were undecided!! BEST broccoli soup we've ever had. For entrees we got the chicken Parmesan and it looked like it could feed a family of 4 it was so big... and absolutely delicious, and the gnocchi which was so creamy I couldn't put my fork down. read more

Well made and fairly priced buffet with plenty of options. Traditional food for Western PA, if you want Irish/Polish foods it is a must in a buffet. Just had my husbands 75 birthday party at the willows event center.The place is absolutely beautiful perfect for wedding or any special event.Can do small board meetings or large wedding up to 700 people. The staff went out of their way to make our party perfect. We had a deal for the smorgasbord and room. Once we got there was told we had to pay $15 in cash for taxes. No other explanation. A kind gentlemen that worked in the buffet explained $10 was a key deposite that we would get back. Then we were to that the buffet would Be closing at 6 so if we wanted to eat we had a couple hours. Food was dry and mediocre but I isn't expecting much. We didn't spend anytime in our room. After getting back for the night I looked at nightstand and saw several ants. I lifted the blanket off the bed and saw a small any in bed. I then lifted alarm clock and about 5 ants crawled out. We asked for anther room which they did. Next room seemed ok but about a half hour later while laying on the new bed a bigger different bug crawled out. We immediately left. The room looked disgusting but I tried not to judge but I should have. Do not stay here!!!! read more

We stayed here 15 years ago when my sister in law got married. Normally, we stay up by the mall when we come to visit the Beaver Valley family, or down by the airport when we want to be halfway between the city and family, but with the high cost of gas and the high cost of the hotels by the mall (seriously, over 100 bucks to stay in Beaver Valley???) we were trying to save money. Combined with the fact that the NRA convention was in town, we couldn't get an affordable hotel anywhere near the city... so ... we opted to revisit the Willows. The hotel room was clean enough, but the bed/pillows smelled a little funky. There was no wifi in the rooms, but if you go to the lobby you can use the wifi. Kind of weird. Why have wifi if people can't use it in their rooms? The shower was either scalding hot or freezing cold. I almost hurt myself trying to balance the temperature after a few minutes being in there. The towels were incredibly old, like they were the same ones we used 15 years ago at the wedding weekend. We did the big buffet the first night (again, to save money. We could have gone into Beaver or gone to Lock 6 for dinner) and the food was pretty good. The staff was friendly and they kept the food updated nicely. Except for the buffalo chicken dip stuff by the tacos which was weird and separated and gross looking. But the ribs were fantastic, the fried chicken tasty... we got our money's worth there. I'm not sure that I would stay at The Willows again. Sadly. Because I really do like supporting little roadside places and non-chain joints. I know times are tough for businesses, but a few changes would really make this a nicer place. read more

The willows is absolutely the best place to go out. There is a wide variety of food to choose from mexican, italian, seafood and much more. My family and I go there every Friday night (Seafood Day) and it just a wonderful selection of soups, seafood, vegetables, and much more. The food there is to die for the macaroni and cheese is good... the cheese is creamy and delicious. The desserts are so good with different types of cookies, cake, and soft serve ice cream. My favorite is the chocolate cake and i add chocolate ice cream. If you want good service come here every waitress is so friendly and the staff and management are awesome. Purchased a deal on PG deals for 1 night with 2 dinner buffets. I will not recommend this to anyone. The whole place is old, dark, dinghy and needs cleaned. Talk about retro, the bathroom was pink with pink tile. The carpets need ripped out. The TV was as small as an old computer monitor. Try watching the hockey game on that. I had my wedding reception there this past weekend. The wedding package includes the venue, food, a champagne toast for the head table, they plate your cookies, and they provide a room free of charge. The venue itself was so beautiful, I was more than impressed. The rooms, however, could use some work.
