Immediately after the refund went through, my drink was completed so I took it, and pointed at walking out as if I hadn't been waiting the entire time. The drink was bound to be thrown out. A warning about wait times at checkout would have deterred me. If a store is understaffed, they should let customers know and update their app. No priority for people who get out of the car to order? Maybe I am wrong this in this day and age and drive through takes priority? Shoutout to the cashier, though--she was helpful.

Mind you, she was the same person who had taken my order and my payment.
