The prices are still a little higher than is reasonable in my mind, but you have to expect that coming to a Barnes & Noble. They did have a few sales here when I came, though, and one was on some collector Harry Potter books which I couldn't resist. This is a great addition to the University Town Center area.

It seems small, but it has a good layout with a decent selection for all age groups I am shopping for. I grew up on the stores that had stages in the kid space, multiple lounge areas to "test out" the book, and no WiFi so students couldn't use the the tables in the cafe for hours at a time. With this set up, unfortunately, it isn't as inviting as they used to be. Never had a bad trip, but never wanted to take my time perusing the shelves. I went to check out counter and told the lovely lady named Kristen(?)of my ordeal, she led me to books. I was visibly upset and stating why would he be this way. Male employee heard me & said he was in the middle of something and would have shown me, why could he not have used common courtesy, looked up & said just to give him a minute and would show me. No problem immediately showing other women their books! This is a nice place to go and relax and he ruined atmosphere, thankfully Kristen(?) was there.

When you enter the Selby public library you will see a room that sells used books. The have a…read moredecent collection of fiction and non fiction and a broad range of subject matter. Books are well priced and the proceeds go to supporting the library. I think it's a great idea and always love to check in and see what they have. There's a library parking lot you can use when using the library.
