Books are well priced and the proceeds go to supporting the library. I think it's a great idea and always love to check in and see what they have. The outside is so nice and inside is decorated well (super dark though - poor lighting especially in the coffee shop). I first went a year ago and the coffee was poorly made (the beans they used then were from one of my favorite local roasters...the espresso shots were pulled incorrectly). Same thing this visit, everything was bitter and tasted burnt (we got multiple drinks for my family both visits). I asked about the beans and their onsite roaster to learn if they roasted everything or if they also used a local roaster and the barista was clueless and said "well they are beans and that's a roaster thing I guess?" The first visit the staff were just rude both the coffee shop and the overpriced store. This time no one was managing the store front and the baristas were so confused, could not keep orders straight and a line grew for people at the coffee shop that just wanted to buy something from the store. My son had ordered a croissant ($7) they called my name, my son went to grab it for me and the guy told him that is not his. I was there with him, told him my name and he said, no it is for someone else. So it sat there getting cold for almost 10mins while we waited for our coffee (meanwhile they were giving other people the wrong items). When my coffee order was ready I asked again and mentioned no one had taken the croissant and if I could now take it, he looked at me and almost said no but the other barista was like yea that is his. The outside gives this place the second star. Sadly the change in ownership has not improved the organization or level of quality. This past visit was on a Wednesday and not a peak time. I may have also just come on two really bad days looking at the other reviews. The prices warrant a better more consistent experience in my opinion.

I ended up getting some Christmas gifts here. I stopped by the Sarasota Honey Company and the customer service was great and they let me try some of the honeys. I ended up buying a few jars because they were really good! They have a good selection of honeys, I just wish there was more plastic packaging instead of glass because glass can break more easily. The market also had live music and a food truck in the back and a raffle going on. There was a lot of cool things to see at this market and I'll definitely stop by again.

They had every crystal and stone bracelet I was looking for, and took the time to thoroughly explain the tarot cards I was drawn to. I ended up finding so many beautiful items that I was a little nervous about the total cost--but to my surprise, it was a steal! Everything was very reasonably priced. The energy of the shop is calming, welcoming, and deeply peaceful. You walk in curious and walk out in a state of zen.

From spa items and clothing, to cards and gifts of all kinds, to fun kitchen/serving stuff and even…read moreoodles of Caboodles in retro colors (late 80s/90s girls, you're with me)... this cute and large store has everything-including super helpful and friendly staff. I went to look at their Hallmark items-cards, wrap and seasonal goodies-and found just what I wanted. But I also had fun browsing the rest of the store and walked out with so many birthday/holiday gifts. I was also really tempted to buy some colorful taco holders for me-maybe next time. And there will be lots of next times. This place will be in monthly rotation for me. It's in the collection of stores right across from the University Town Center. I think that retail area is called UTC West. It's walkable to the mall-right across the street-and there are also lots of eateries on this side. (more on that in a separate review) I'm so glad I stopped in. Yes, as I noticed in the mall, prices are up... but they weren't outrageous here. And they had cute/fun items that are perfect for so many people/occasions. It's clean and bright and well laid out: lots of merch but wide aisles. I'll be a regular from now on. Happy shopping!

Layered with the lotion it's heavenly. I will say it was hard to find this year, this is the third location change in St Armand's, I really loved the first one the best. But this current location seems bigger than the last one more merch, and easier to maneuver around. Service wasn't as friendly this time, but hopefully that's a one off.

We went back to exchange them for stickers that actually work and they said they can't without a receipt. I understand if it was something more expensive but they're stickers.. & to not allow an exchange is pretty cheap imo. Go get your stickers at beach bazaar right across the street!
