It was hearty, fresh, and packed with flavor. Their house beer on tap was refreshing and went perfectly with the meal. But the real showstopper was dessert--the famous Kaiserschmarrn with apricot. These fluffy, shredded pancakes were absolutely divine, and the apricot added just the right amount of sweetness. Easily one of the highlights of the meal! Service was impeccable, and everything tasted fresh. I highly recommend making a reservation, especially because this is a small restaurant and it clearly has a strong following among locals. The atmosphere is lovely, with a neighborhood, non-touristy vibe that makes the experience feel authentically Viennese. The nice server promptly took the orders: As we were a group of six, we ordered several dishes so we could try a little bit of everything and of course, the famous Wiener Schnitzel with mixed salad by which every restaurant in Austria is measured. Generally speaking, if that dish fails , usually it is a bad sign. But here everything was fresh, flavorful and served generously. The " Wiener "  like they called it here was crispy on the outside with a wonderful breading and the veal was tender and tasty. I discovered the scrambled eggs with wild mushrooms and I could see myself eating it for breakfast too. The dumplings were huge but the flavor wasn't lost . The fish was well cooked . The deserts were as good as the main dishes and I can't recommend enough the palatshinken(crêpes) and the topfentorte( Austrian cheese cake). The menu is mixture between American and European meals and they have a large beverage selection. I can recommend the burgers, ribs and wings, and the tasty Enchiladas. The outdoor seating is great during the summer days/nights and its a perfectly OK to bring along the children of all ages. Above all the service is excellent and the location is completely clean.
