However, once broken in, they wear really well and I can easily wipe and polish them back to a good shine. I think they have a reasonable selection of styles, from minimal/modern black ankle boots to more decorated brogues in fancy leather colours like teal and purple. I did get service in English when I visited, which was extra helpful.

I found a gorgeous pair from Posto Italiano for 168 euros (232 dollars). I initially wasn't going to get them because of the price, but after looking around at Aldo and Steve Madden (the kind of stores I would normally get boots from - decently priced, decent quality), their boots were around the same price. I love these boots and have gotten a lot of compliments on them. I've worn them almost every single day for almost 5 months now - I live in Chicago for most of the year for school and they've lasted through one of the harshest winters.

When we started chatting, it turns out he is from Montreal and coincidences of coincidences, from the Eastern Townships like me.
