I felt the most comfortable and trusting in this one. The owner (?) Robie (Roberta) took so much time explaining all the differences. I shopped around and she had the best prices for the quality. Some other places were cheaper but I didn't think the workmanship was the same. She even explained the option of getting refunded at the airport for the tax you pay on these goods, with an invoice. Nobody else explained that. This is like 35 euro on a 225 purchase. So, its significant. Some places offer a discount on cash purchases but they may not be giving you the full credit for the tax. Robie even has an offical reference that lists the specific amounts. I highly recommend checking this store out as part of your visit. Great selection, quality, price and service. You can even special order and they will ship! Fantastic!

My sister had one where the punched new holes on the belt for the belt to fit her. I had walked into the leather store with my own leather bag. And I inquired about a stain I had on it. The store owner tried to get rid of the stain for me. Very sweet man, but only speak Italian. His assistant speaks English. Well low and behold, I stumbled across her shop while exploring the streets of Siena and I'm so glad that I did! 'La Fabbrica delle Candel" was an amazing shop with all sorts of unique hand crafted candles and wax dipped flowers. We ended up spending forever in there because I loved everything and couldn't decide what I wanted to bring home. In the front of the shop is a workshop area where you can view the candles being made. The girl that was working when we stopped in (not sure if she was the owner or not) was very sweet and spoke excellent english. She explained how the wax flowers were made and talked about how the shop got started. She did an excellent job of wrapping up our purchases so everything made it home in one piece. Definitely a place worth looking for if you're in town - I'm honestly disappointed we didn't end up buying more to bring home!
