A loan officer prequalified me saying that I met all requirements of the loan 2. I submitted an application and was consistently lied to about the status of processing and appraisal ordering 3. I finally got tired of being ignored and called the manager, who looked at my application and said he would never approve it. At this point, we were a week before closing and the financing contingency was passed. My agent and I lost $10,000 as a result of their mismanagement 4. They want to see a 1:1 net worth to loan ratio. Meaning, that unless you could generate the cash to buy the place outright, they wont loan on it. Absurd. Save yourself the hassle and dont deal with this bank. They are untrustworthy, they don't care about your time, and they definitely don't care about your money.
