Took my Acura to Central Body's Leavenworth Street location for a body work estimate for the rocker panel area and was impressed right from the start. The location is super easy to get into. No awkward parking lot maneuvering or confusing entrances, which I always appreciate when I'm on a tight schedule. Since I work downtown, the midtown spot on Leavenworth is perfectly central for me. Quick to get to before or after work without going out of my way. Being centrally located in Omaha in general, it's a convenient stop no matter what part of the city you're coming from. Solid experience so far and a location that makes it easy to get your car serviced without the hassle. I took my trailer in to have wheel bearings packed and a few other things. They called me shortly after dropping it off and told me that my frame was so messed up that I wouldn't even be able to sell it and I should just donate it to the veterans. So I took it to a patriot authorized dealer and they told me chat all the parts that central body was telling me were not factory that they were in fact factory. So I decided to take it to a trailer frame shop who told me that there was absolutely nothing wrong with my trailer. Central body cost me my walleye fishing trip not to mention the pain and anguish I went through thinking my trailer was junk. Come to find out they just jacked the trailer up in a nonload bearing spot total ignorance on their part. I would not have them do any work to any thing I own. read more

We had a blow out on our 41 foot fifth wheel. Who would have thought how much damage that could do. We had body damage, hydraulic lines broken, electrical on our slide out, as well as a bent axle. The earliest we could get into anyplace for just an estimate was over a month. Central Body got us in the very next day. They would have had the work done in a couple of weeks if not for the insurance company which delayed things horribly. Thank God for Brittani, their service writer. Brittani stayed on the insurance company and kept us informed all along the way. In regards to the actual repairs, the estimate was very thorough they found some issues we did not know about and got on the repairs as soon as approvals and parts were in line. I cannot tell there was any damage at all. I cannot say enough positive things about my overall experience with Central Body. read more

Central Body is the worst of the worst of RV repair companies, especially for big rigs. During the 7 months (yes, 7 months!) Central Body spent trying to diagnose and repair an electrical problem on my motor home, they allowed the unit to freeze up, resulting in blowing out the water manifold and water filter canister, and snapping an interior PVC connection of the Oasis system - even though I paid them to winterize the rig! These avoidable damages ultimately cost me many thousands of dollars in unnecessary repairs - mostly because Central Body failed to call my Service Warranty company for authorization of work that would have been covered. The original electrical problem was never fully corrected and I had to finally take my rig to another repair shop 200 miles away to fix all the damages caused by Central Body. Throughout this ordeal, the office manager repeatedly failed to return my many phone calls, failed to provide any pre-repair estimates, failed to call my Service Warranty company, lied about protecting the unit from freezing, and stole a hand gun they discovered in a bedroom drawer. When I attempted to contest these issues with the owners, they threatened to fine me an additional $148 per day until the bill was fully paid: $16,400. I will never go back. 3 years ago, I had my 1999 class C sportsman serviced there, and was very pleased with the service. So I called this year so I could get my brakes serviced and engine work done, but I was told they don't work on RV's that old. I was kind of shocked because it's just a Ford Super duty. If this is so, you should update your website. Wasn't planning on it so now I have to look elsewhere, which is not easy. read more

I just took my 1984 27ft Winnebago to Pomes. They fixed my drivers ac ( recharge and Freon . Fixed my brakes ( master cylinder) $1150.00 . In august 2020 I took rv to central body they estimated $500 for a blower and bled brakes For $600 in Labor- brakes were the same as when I dropped off to you guys still weren't fixed. anyway I still regret taking our rv to central body . We got screwed. And I had to pay $350 for an estimate that they said I'd get to put that towards my bill. Bottom line I feel I need to be compensated for brakes NEVER being fixed but charged $600 in labor to bled brakes and $350 estimate. Total of $950 read more

Experience here was great! 10/10 would recommend. My A/C stopped working and I had gotten a quote from another company. Turns out the other company was wrong and Central Body Company caught their mistake. They charged me the $90 for the diagnostics but included it in my final bill. I ended up paying exactly what they quoted me and my A/C is blowing nice and cold. Austin even made the comment "stay cool" as I was leaving after picking up my finished car. read more

Needed A/C removed and replaced. I provided new A/C ...had appointment scheduled a week ahead. When we showed up at 8 AM as requested was told we will do our best to fit you in today! Called them at 12:30 ..was told not started yet..after lunch.. at just before 3 they called and told us ready. Over charged us..claimed took 4 hours. We had checked with other dealers who stated 2 hours to install. This place installer even said was quick and easy job. Disputed with service desk. They claimed that we were quoted four hous. However, that was what they said it could take if problems with install. This shop is not to be trusted.will never recommend. read more

We had a car hit by an out-of-state delivery truck and needed an estimate....he helped us out in less than 12 hours so we could make a claim out of state. Central Body Company was recommended to me by someone in the insurance business who uses them personally for his own cars. He told me they were great guys, very honest and, if anyone in Omaha might help me with the promise of nothing in return, it would be these guys! Everything he said was true! We had fiberglass damage to out coach. Brought to CBC and the work performed was excellent. It did take about 3 weeks before getting in and at $158 per hour for labor it was pretty pricey. Thus, the four stars instead of five. The work done itself was five stars plus. read more

Matt & team did an amazing job in fixing my Lexus. They were able to get it in next day and turned it around quickly. After I got my SUV back I found my front passenger door couldn't be opened. Took it back in and it was fixed within minutes (a cable came unplugged). Matt took the time to come out and talk to me directly, apologizing for the inconvenience and he gave me a free oil change for my troubles. We thought our vacation was over when two of our four slides decided to seriously malfunction. We were half way across the country from California, headed to the east coast when this happened. We called a number of RV shops in the Midwest to see about service. All were about three weeks out before they could even look at it. At that point we were ready to turn around and go home. Central Body in Council Bluffs was recommended by a local RV dealer that was too busy to take any more work on. We contacted Central Body and they too were very busy but we're abke to get us in within a week. They diagnosed the problem immediately...our bedroom slide had a 20 degree bent arc and the hydraulic ram had to be replaced. Central Body ordered the part, fixed our kitchen slide and had us back on the road in four days. Kudos to Bill and his crew for coming to our rescue and saving our vacation. read more

Got my Wrangler Painted! Took my 93 YJ in for its first, full body paint job. There was also a lot of rust. Many shops around didn't want to deal with it or tried overcharging to make it worth their time. Matt worked with me on price and had to deal with even more rust than we both expected. Yet come check out time, the price hadn't budged a cent from our initial conversation. He also did a fantastic job finding the right paint. I only had one picture for him to go off and no paint codes, he took the time to find what I wanted and made it happen. My jeep looks absolutely amazing! First I will list off the cons and pros, and then explain what happened for anyone that cares. Pro: Lady at the front desk was very nice, but if asked any question she could not answer them (not a big deal and not really expected) Clean facility Cons: Took 2 weeks to get an estimate back after I brought in my car Bill was not there at the time I scheduled my estimate so some else took photos for him to do the estimate off On the phone Bill told me he would take the value of my groupon and apply it to the repairs, he would not do that once I spoke with him in person. The earliest day available to bring my car it to be fixed was over 1 1/2 months later When Bill looked at my car when I brought it in to get fixed he basically said it would cost a lot more than the estimate, but would not provide me an amount -I do not know if their work is good because I chose not to give them my service The story: While I was deployed to Afghanistan I took my car to be stored at a place where they would maintain it, for example drive it around the block once a month so the engine would be used and the tired wouldn't sit. (I take pride in maintaining a nice vehicle) When I picked it up we were in a rush and had the owner meet me at the airport with my car, we took a quick look around and the car looked fine. We took it home thinking there were no issues. After that I saw a groupon for fixing small dings in a car. The one I bought was an $800 value for $250. I was going to use it to fix my husband's car. Later that week I went to wax my car and noticed a large dent in the bumper, someone had spray painted it to cover it up. We found out when my car was being stored a teenager was taking care of it and hit something in the parking lot and then tried to cover it up. I then, decided to take my car to Central Body Company to get an estimate. When I came in at the exact time they scheduled my appointment I was told Bill was out to lunch and he should be there shortly. After about 10 or 15 minutes of waiting another guy came and said he would do my estimate. We went out and he took photos of the damage I mentioned earlier and also some fading and paint chipping off at two other spots. I told him the story of what happened with the painted over dent. After he took the photos I was told I would receive an estimate soon. This was in the third week of May. After calling a few days later about the estimate they told me their computers were down. On 7 June they sent me an email of the estimates, over a week later. It was $50 for the paint chipping, $897 for the dent repair, and $525 for the fading. I was on vacation at this time so I got back to them the next week. When I called I asked about the price of the estimates because I thought it was high and I told Bill that I want to use the value of the groupon towards the repairs and I told him I bought the one for $250. He explained why the cost was the way it was, that I could use the groupon towards the repair, and we could discuss the groupon when I drop off the car. So I asked to schedule a time to have it fixed. He told me nothing was available until August. I was not happy with that, but it was worth the wait because I could use the groupon amount. (A side note: the main reason I wanted to fix the car was so I could sell it. My car is a convertible so it will sell better during warm months.) On 5 August, I brought my car in to be fixed. I wanted to go over with Bill what was going to be repaired and the value of the groupon. He looked at the damaged area and said, Oh this is a lot more work that I thought because of the paint and the dent is bigger, and some other reasons I can't remember. I told him that the guy knew about the painting over the dent and he took photos. And then he looked at the chipping paint and said that would also take more work than he expected. At that moment I was wondering why I even got an estimate, so I asked him how much more the costs would be. He avoided the answering that question at least twice. We then discussed the groupon and he said he would only take the face value of the groupon. I told him we discussed that he would take the value of the groupon on the phone and he said he thought it was for $25 even though I told him $250 and I showed the lady at the front desk the groupon earlier. In fact I tried to give them the groupon when I came to get the estimate, but they would not take it. I told him the value said $800 but maybe we could do $500. $300 less than the value of the groupon. He told me it would be best if I refund my money with groupon. I told him I did not appreciate him wasting over 2 months of my time, and I told him he should do his own estimates instead of looking at a photo to determine the cost of repair and then going back on what he said. I did not have my car fixed there because I felt I got the run around and was lied to on multiple occasions. read more

We did not have a good experience ...We had them install a refrigerator, toilet, hot water heater in our airstream trailer..Nothing worked when we got it home and they charged us a lot more than they estimated for repairs. $6600. and nothing worked !!!!! read more
