I love the wide variety of equipment and the fact that it is always clean and in working order. This place is huge and there are tons of machines, so you rarely ever have to wait for one. In addition, there are lots of TV's and motivating music to keep you entertained during your workout, as well as large fans to keep you cool. A basic membership is only $10 a month, which is super affordable compared to most gyms. I would highly recommend the Boardman Planet Fitness. Plenty of free parking in the lot behind the building. Staff was welcoming and guided me through a quick registration for a free day pass since it was my first visit. I attended an evening Zumba class. It was such a great experience that I visited the next day ($10 per day guest pass) to take a barre class. It can be intimidating when visiting a new gym, but the instructors and the participants were friendly and inviting. The classes had varied age groups and the medium to fast pace of the classes kept up a healthy sweat throughout. I can only review the group classes since I didn't take advantage of the other amenities, but my guest pass permitted me the use of the entire facility (tons of machines, a pool, locker room, sauna, open gym/basketball court, and childcare). The building itself dates back to 1903, but most of the facility has been recently renovated and appeared clean and organized. I will definitely be a repeat visitor.
