Our new order came in and it was a complete difference, we are so happy with them! And the installer Pete was excellent , he was the one who didn't like how the first order worked and brought it to Paula's attention. I've bought first aid supplies here a few times and the selection is great especially for how small the building is. Staff have had useful tips on which products to pick, and even asked if there was anything I wanted but couldn't find and said they were happy to order in for me. Today was my first time using the pharmacy itself and it was a great experience: fast, but they gave me a bunch of useful information the prescribing doctor hadn't mentioned, they processed my insurance info flawlessly for me, and were so friendly and kind it made a challenging time much easier. I'll definitely be bringing any business I have to this location when I can.

I was looking for a local dyer/spinner/artisan for Souvenir Yarn, and the staff member was able to point me in the direction of one. She actually didn't even come out from behind the desk, which in a small store where I was the only customer, actually was fine. If there had been more than just me in the store, this would have felt dismissive. The organization was a bit haphazard in my opinion; the dyer I was looking at was placed at various places around the store, I think depending on weight or perhaps fibre type. I'm not sure. But in the end I found something I liked, the staff member was helpful recommending patterns and telling me about the sample garments I was admiring. Then we had a funny chat about their logo/mascot. They had a name contest and I think the character was eventually named Gordon "Ram"sey.

Lisa greeted us after we entered the store and was pleasant, engaging, personable and informative…read more She got to know us and guided us to what we were initially looking for and offered information about particular types of chairs that were most suitable to our height and size (which we did not realize was as important or relevant as it was - who knew recliners were so involved?!). She showed us just the right amount of options (not overwhelming but included size, height, rocking or not, electronic or manual features, etc.) and helped demonstrate the options of the different chairs and also helped us choose a chair best suited to our needs and a colour best suited to our decor (based on the options available). We're new to the Courtenay/Comox area and she even gave us a little helpful information about living in the area and some of the local background. As sales people go - she was perfect. Very aligned with us, our tempo, style and personality. A great experience and we're greatly looking forward to our new, very comfortable chair! If they don't have the chair you want in the colour you want, they will order it (you choose from the available options) and it will be made to your specifications. Our only regret is that we have to wait for our new comfy chair to be delivered :-)
