I will no longer bring my truck or any vehicle to central car wash Thunder Bay. I trusted them with my vehicle, to do a proper job without damage! When I arrived home and seen my black shiny truck with a ton of scratches from front to back I almost died! My truck is in mint condition with no scratches. The brushes left thier marks from front to back and I now have to pay to hopefully buff out as much as possible !!!! It looks like it was driven thru the bush and branches scratched it , but it's never seen the bush!!!! I baby my truck and unfortunately this was the outcome of dirty worn out brushes. Not only did the machines scratch the truck , the employees did a half ass job on the inside. One half was done and the other wasn't. They scratched the glass on the inside as well. SOOO SOOO DISAPPOINTED AND PISSED OFF !!!! SHAME ON THEM FOR PUMPING OUT THE VEHICLES WITHOUT TAKING PRECAUTIONS AND CLEANING THE BRUSHES!!!! I had CCW do the Supreme Car wash this morning on our 2019 GMC Sierra which is suppose to be the top of line carwash. They didn't completely clean the centre console, I had to show one of the employees a big dirty spot on the bottom of the door (this after the truck went through the car wash) that he seemed to reluctantly wipe off. I also had to ask him to wipe the running boards down, which they never do without me asking them, and then I left for coffee and noticed they never even sprayed the wheels with tire shine which is part of the package. I drove back to CCW and then they applied tire shine after I pointed it out to them. CCW charges $48.87 with taxes for this car wash package so you would think they would take a little more pride and detail for the customer. Very disappointed to say the least. read more

Went in and specifically told them I want vomit cleaned and was sold a package which they informed me would be the best package to get the vomit cleaned, job was not completed as package sold to me was not a shampoo package. They wanted me to reschedule and pay more with a 10% discount to do the work I cane in for. read more

drove up ccw thunder bay and a girl came up to me asked me what would i like today. i told her the supreme she proceeded to write it on a piece of cardboard and whipped it on my dash, i was in shock i don't let anyone treat my truck like that i'm the one that parks ten miles away and walks. a little aggressive if you ask me. for 48 dollars you think they could get the bugs off windshield won't be back read more

thats bullshit / your car will still be dirty and no one will clean it properly and i just lost my wheel cup there

1) I really hope the scenting uses synthetic fragrance because I specifically asked for new car and they used pina colada (I'm allergic to coconut) 2) they didn't get all the dirt and ice off the car so I asked if they could try and the workers started kicking and hitting my car 3) they didn't get all the dirt off so when they started hand drying they dragged dirt across my passenger door and scratched it (I have receipts showing the door had just been repainted so yes the damage is new) 4) I paid over $46 after tax for the supreme wash and they didn't even vacuum the back seat or trunk space. 5) interior windshield was streaked and they didn't bother with the rear windows because there are still puppy nose prints on the glass. 6) I made sure to get the names and phone numbers of two other patrons who witnessed how my vehicle was treated because I was told the manager was going to "review the video" and the damage to my door "couldn't have happened there". Lesson learned. I should have read the reviews before I went to this place. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I had originally booked an appointment for rust protection as well and when I asked to cancel it the cashier stated "I don't know why you want to cancel it's a different bunch of guys that do the Krown." Umm - cause my door is scratched and I could potentially have had an anaphylactic reaction - that's why. read more

I took my Jeep to Central around 5:15 pm today . Asked for the Supreme Wash The young lady asked if I wanted the back hatch area vacuumed and my floor mats washed. I said yes so she wrote it down on the card they put on your dash along with the fragrance I had chosen. pulled my vehicle in, got out paid for the service went into the waiting area in a few minutes I saw my Jeep come out of the wash area. then the team dried the vehicle and dressed the tires. they called me when they were done . i must mention that I was never thanked for using your car wash. I got home and discovered that the back hatch had not been cleaned or vacuumed or probably even opened!!! The inside of the window was still filthy. if they did not know how to open it they had several opportunities to ask me! Needless to say I am not impressed with your service or the people working there . I used to use your service weekly but the quality got shoddy so I stopped . too bad it hasnt improved I won't be back ! waste of 40 bucks! read more

Got my Truck undercoated with the Krown coating. Picked truck up next day full of clear coat scratches throughout the paint. Not impressed at all. Save your money and go elsewhere. This place is a complete joke read more

Terrible experience. We purchased the most expensive option and couldn't have been any more disappointed. Car wasn't cleaned well, so we returned and were given a hard time about what they are responsible for cleaning. After a quick conversation, we went through the wash again and the car was still covered in streaks and dirt. After leaving, we went home and cleaned the car for a while to supplement the cleaning from central. We noticed a floor mat was missing. We called and were told that we could come and watch the camera. The next day, the car smelled horrible. Overall, very disappointed and unhappy with the service, experience, and quality of central carwash. read more

SAVE YOUR MONEY! $36 (tax included) asked for my leather seats to be wiped down (muddy paws) and was told that wasn't an option but i could ask the staff at the end if they would give them a wipe down. i did ask staffing and was told it wasn't their job but they would pass on the request to the individuals responsible for the interior. needless to say it wasn't done. which is fine, since it isn't their job (eye-roll). the car wash itself was alright, but the only thing clean inside my car were the floor mats. i could have done the same thing myself at a self-serve car wash for $26 less. never again, i will take my business elsewhere! now i understand why the place wasn't busy on this mild day. read more

In 2013 when I had just got my Mustang I took it to Central for the rustproofing. The CAA rated their rust proofing fairly high so I tried it. Afterwards they took my Mustang through the car wash. They did a good job but several days later when it was cold in the morning I used my rear defroster. One of the elements didn't work so I went back to Central to complain. The woman told me it couldn't be them as they didn't use metal squeegees on the back window. I had noticed that someone had gone into the back seat to clean the inside part - something I hadn't seen before. She also told me that Tom Jones brought his $180000 Mercedes in for cleaning there. Probably because he owns the place and got treated better than me. Since I had gotten my rear window tinted at the Power Center I thought maybe they had damaged the element. Steve the manager there offered to take off and replace the tint and fix the element but I didn't take him up on it as I wasn't sure who was to blame. A month later I went to Central to get my car washed and another defroster element was damaged and stopped working. Now its obvious who caused the damage to my car. End result is I went back to Canadian Tire for rustproofing and stayed away from Central Car Wash. I am still angry whenever I see the two non-working elements on a cold day. Central did nothing to remedy their mistake. They never even admitted to a mistake. I have always been happy with the work at The Power Center and would give them 5 Stars. read more

I went for a car wash on a Tuesday (LADIES DAY) to treat myself, but little did I know the workers at Central Car Wash were going to be the ones treating themselves... to a brand new phone charger. I had this phone charger still in the box and sitting in my centre console. The individuals cleaning my car had taken it. when I realized and returned to confront them they had admitted to stealing my phone charger and then proceeded to give it back without an apology. read more
