I have a a major disagreement with Dusty's Car Care in Thunder Bay this week. I am a very unsatisfied customer. I posted on the Thunder Bay site, and there were lots of complaints but someone stopped and were making very mean remarks to me or on the site anyway. There seems to be a lot of other people having similar issues. My issue is that I had a accident in my vehicle back in October and my vehicle is at Carstar in Thunder Bay. I talked to Dusty's car wash place to see about getting some touch up waxing so my vehicle with new parts didn't look stupid. they went ahead and did something to my vehicle that I did not authorized once thy finally gave me a price I said "no" - I can't afford that. They gave me the infection that it would be about $39.99 plus tax For a two hour job. And it has taken a large chuck of my hard earned money - to tell the trust it rain my credit car up and now I can't afford to buy groceries. I would never spend that much on my vehicle when I was just getting her back from the dealership. I just had major surgery and I can't afford to buy the supplies I need now. I feel as if I was ripped off because maybe it was because I was a women and they thought I was a pushover, and maybe in some situations I am, but when it comes to not know where my next meal is coming from I tend to take noticed. can you help me? I guess my credit card company is the next person I call. This is not a review. It is a complaint and I woukd be happy to remove it if we could come to some agreement. 0 stars one select 1 start because there were a no zero star, but that's what I give it. No are no pictures because they did what I did not want to do. They took advantage of a single women - that cared about what her vehicle looked it. Rip off's. I won't stop here. The Thunder Bay paper is next on m list, and then I will go from there. There can be discrimination against single white people too you know. I believe that's what happen here. I hope you lose business here, because IAM A SINGLE PERSON WITH NOTHING BETTER TO DO BUT GET JUSTICE FOR THE LITTKE OEOPKE. read more

Probably the single best car wash in Thunder Bay…read more There are 2 sides to the business. An automatic car wash which I've never used. So I can't comment. The other side is a time based wand wash system. This I like! The bays are large. They are well lit. The area is clean. Water pressure is great and clean. While I'm sure they are recycling water (as most or all of them do) but your car comes out clean and no film left on your car from excessive water recycling. The vacuums work. Suction could be better. Lots of cleaning cycles - soap, foamy brush, engine clean, wax, rince, etc. If I were to knock this place - the hours suck. Closing at 7pm isn't super convenient. Wish the self serve wand side was open until 9 or 10. But that's me. Great car wash!

When I arrived home and seen my black shiny truck with a ton of scratches from front to back I almost died! My truck is in mint condition with no scratches. The brushes left thier marks from front to back and I now have to pay to hopefully buff out as much as possible !!!! It looks like it was driven thru the bush and branches scratched it , but it's never seen the bush!!!! I baby my truck and unfortunately this was the outcome of dirty worn out brushes. Not only did the machines scratch the truck , the employees did a half ass job on the inside. One half was done and the other wasn't. They scratched the glass on the inside as well. SOOO SOOO DISAPPOINTED AND PISSED OFF !!!! SHAME ON THEM FOR PUMPING OUT THE VEHICLES WITHOUT TAKING PRECAUTIONS AND CLEANING THE BRUSHES!!!! THIS CAUSES DAMAGE AND MONEY TO THE OWNERS OF THE VEHICLES, all the while it lines the owners pockets. SHAME ON THEM FOR ALLOWING THIS TO HAPPEN TO ANYONES VEHICLES , ITS NOT OK!!!!!
