His wife booked B&H for us. The cab arrived on time - the driver was really pleasant and friendly & drove sensibly around the bends. The fare was considerably cheaper than another cab firm I had recently used from Southminster - the owner of the firm charged me £18 from opposite the pet shop to Bradwell!!!!!! A journey of only 7 miles. I will never use that company again. Thank you B&H - I am now hoping to book a 7 seater with them to take us & friends to the Blue Strawberry for my husband's birthday celebrations & bring us home again. When we arrived we were waiting outside in the cold for 30 minutes before our taxi arrived! We called the company after 10 minutes of waiting and asked where it was, the person on the phone was very nice and said that they would call the car and find out where it was. Another 15 minutes went by and still no taxi. We called again saying that it was still not here and wanted to know where it was, by this point all of us were frustrated and cold. The person on the phone told us that when he called the car the driver said that he was there... we then looked around an empty car park. He then said that he would call the car again and then call us back. We then waited a further 5-10 minutes and the taxi FINALLY arrived. When he got there he didn't open any doors for us nor did he apologise for being late or explain why. Safe to say he did not get a tip and we will NEVER use this taxi company again. WORST TAXI EXPERIENCE EVER.

Of course, this meant I didn't have any accommodation set up in advance. But the lovely Albanian taxi driver who met me at Canterbury West station rang some hotels while driving me to others to find a suitable room during Freshers Week (who from Australia knows what that is?) with most places fully booked. I really needed two nights in the one spot so I wouldn't have to drag myself out of bed by someone else's timetable. With plenty of drunk students roaming the midnight streets, it really was wonderful to have such a taxi driver turn around the image of being taken advantage of when vulnerable in an unknown city. Many thanks (& I know other customers have been very happy too because of the calls coming in while I was in his car and he had other drivers look after them for him). UNRELIABLE AND RUDE - DO NOT USE!…read more I used Taxi Van to move home from university and received an absolutely appalling service. The van arrived more than 5 hours late and carried out extra jobs en route which had not been agreed. The driver illegally used his mobile phone without hands free, making personal calls with me (the customer) in the van. Complaints were brushed off and dealt with in a thuggish manner. No refund was received for the extra jobs which were out of the way and added extra time to my journey. We had paid for sole use of the van. Terrible, would never use again or consider recommending. 0/10.
