The kids were playing freely which is a good sign! The pre-k class was having some learning time with the teacher reading to them. The preschool class was having free play and the kids were independently playing. My biggest fear is how my kid will be treated but her teacher Ms. Nichole has been so kind to her. She disciplines her in a very non-threatening way and always with kindness. My daughter is slowly becoming more independent and will be ready for kindergarten next year. It is a bit of a drive but I would rather drive out to North Richland where I know my child is safe and sound.

Most of the staff who work at this facility have little to no educational accreditation. YIKES.

I almost went under the water with my baby . Also a baby in the class threw up in the pool and not much was done so we left the class early because I didn't feel like it was sanitary that they had us stay in the pool. Also they give the tiny babies little toys and they were chewing on the toys and then they wanted us to have the babies swap toys which I didn't think was sanitary. We didn't feel like there was much instruction or help at all I never really even spoke to the instructor the two classes we did take because she was so busy . It's also in the backyard of Someones house. No signs to point you where to go .We decided to just not attended the last two classes and just take a loss as far as the money we spent.

My daughter had dozens of lessons in Seattle and it was all play and not many skills came out of it. My son did 2 sessions which consists of lessons 5 days a week for half an hour. After 4 weeks he is confident in the water. Skills he's learned are nose bubbles, water bobbing, getting out of the water without steps, and floating. My daughter did one session with Hannah and she has gained so much confidence! She can swim on her own! It's been great to see her progress. She now understands how to breath underwater, dive, and can swim a lap in the deep end! Lessons are held outside at a private residence. The pool is kept clean. There is no overpowering chlorine smell which is nice. There is plenty of seating for parents. There is a restroom accessible for kids/parents that is connected to the house but accessible from outside. They offer mommy and me, preschool, core, and swim team classes. The description of each class is listed on their website and is accurate. Group, semi private, and private lessons.They do have multiple classes at the same time but at no time did I feel like another class was distracting from what my kids were learning. Class sizes are kept small. My son did group and semi private and they were equally great. The prices are very reasonable. Its truly priceless to see your child learning water safety and how to properly swim. I highly recommend!

I am a working mom. It's not easy leaving my kids in someone else's care. I need to be confident…read morethat my babies will be safe and loved while I am away! My kid loves Sweet Pea Academy. She is 4 and this is her 2nd year. She knows colors, shapes, and can count past 10. She brings home her projects and tells me what she learned. She loves it when the "stretching girls" come and teach the class how to stretch and exercise. She loves her teachers. She feels safe. She takes about a 90 minute nap every day. Every kid has a cubby to put their coat and backpack. They have outside play everyday (except during extreme temperatures.) They celebrate holidays and the kids birthdays. It's an energetic and fun environment! The staff has been very good in communicating issues that arise. They will call me if my kid is sick or if they have a concern. They notify via email regarding any contagious bugs going around in the daycare. And they also notify parents of changes in staff. The staff has been kind, warm and gracious. I feel that they truly care and love my kid! Children must be potty trained to attend. Staff do not regularly assist in bathroom. I have had other experiences in this community and lemme tell ya, this place is one of the best. I value Sweet Pea Academy. I would recommend their service!
