This specific facility is under new management. The new director is very kind and knows exactly what she is doing. They're making changes to the daycare so that there is transparency and honesty . ABSOLUTELY LIVID! My son had gone here a total of 4 days! The first day he was so excited, the second day he was attacked by another child, where were the adults! The fourth day I get a message that my son has been crying all day. But why? He is always a happy child and previous daycare raved about him. I picked him up he is huddled in the corner of the room crying hysterically. No one even trying to calm him down. His face is absolutely red like someone was holding him down face first into carpet. this is by far the worst daycare i have ever had the displeasure of experiencing, i turned the other cheek when my son had bite marks, scratches, shoes on backwards, pants on inside out, jacket upside down, but today was too much! my sons "teacher" dragana milinovic had my son, another little boy and a little girl alll in the same bathroom at the same time! pants down! private parts out! my own kids dont use the same bathroom at the same time at home! this should not have happened, these are lil kids that shouldn't be exposed to each others private areas! my kids will not be returning back! very sad! very disappointing! read more

Unsanitary, unprofessional, inexperienced, and horrible customer service. My child was attacked there by another kid, the staff specifically the center director (Nicole) rejected my child from attending day care as we showed up at 10:30am stating that they had a VERBAL policy to be there by 10am and not a written policy, and most of the staff was not attentive to the children at all. That isn't to say they don't have a few good staff members there, he had a great teacher, however, the bad definitely outweighs the good there. They should be shut down! If I could give a 0 I would!I I have no idea how they got away with staying open but this is not where your child will be loved and cared for. We tried this daycare today due to no one having availability in the tricities and I can not express this enough, DONT DO IT! The staff is unfriendly and harsh to the kids. I could hear from the class room next to the 2 year olds a staff member threatening the kids "You are not going to eat if you touch the cup again", "No one is getting food today". I just heard constant unprofessional talk and yelling at these kids. The place is filthy, there is a woman who works in the infant room that watches from he classroom window, the front door more than the kids in her room, there were little ones crying and she was doing nothing about it. There is bismal toys in the 2 year old room and children are made to sleep with their shoes on. The sheets to cover the mats are from the day before and unwashed. My son had fresh stains on his and everyone looks like they hate their job. If they hate their job, how are they going to treat your child? I came to bring him a blanket for nap and to see how he was doing with the day, I walked into the room to see him lying on a mat so hysterically crying and NO ONE around to comfort him. This was his first day and I told the woman in the room in charge that at any sign of any distress to message me immediately several times! When I sat him up it was obvious he had been crying so hard for a long long time, it took me 10 minutes to get him settled down. Hes never been like that ever. Moms, do better for your kids! This is not the place! The allegations and abuse that happened are a result of this staff. No one cares about your child here and you can feel it when you come in the door. read more

I recently moved here about 6 months ago with my daughter, I am a single mother and really don't know many people here yet. From day 1 Kindercare has made us feel like family. They do a great job of making my daughter feel comfortable and valued. She begs me to take her to school to see her teachers and friends. The staff really takes the time to get to know the families, they build great positive relationships and know how to make us feel special. They even have the children make us little crafts for Christmas and Valentine's. The management always makes time to listen to concerns, give suggestions and always resolves issues in a timely and respectful manner. I know teacher appreciation week is coming up and I just want to let all of the Kindercare employees know that we appreciate all your hard work and dedication, you guys are amazing!!! I did not have a good experience sending my child here. When she attended, we had just moved from out of state. The teachers knew this and knew that (as an 18 month old) she may have some separation issues. None of the teachers would greet her when she or I entered the class. Teacher beverages like coffee and soda were placed on window ledges where any of the toddlers could have spilled them or tried them. I came into the classroom once to find the teacher doing the perfect activity for this age group - huge sheet of paper with lots of markers for the kids to be coloring, but the teacher did not talk to the kids one time. The teacher did not work on teaching colors or shapes or just have a conversation with any of the kids. I got a paper about the curriculum that they were supposedly teaching my child and the teacher could not remember the tune of the song she supposedly taught my child. Most importantly (to me as a momma), my child would cry when we drove past Torbett Street on GWay even if we were not going to daycare. I pulled my daughter out after a month. Several months later when walking up to her new school (where she did not have major separation issues and the teachers showed her affection and redirected her to age appropriate and fun activities), she suddenly refused to walk in. I picked her up and carried her to the door. There was an adult there who told me that she recognized us from the Torbett Street KinderCare. I could not believe that even after starting a new school and the benefit of several months away, she still remembered the adult (who did not work in her class) to the point that she did not want to be anywhere near her. Now this was several years ago and I know things could have changed since then. I would just caution any parents on doing their due diligence as you should with any child care placement. Make sure it's an environment that you are comfortable with your child being in. Go see your child unannounced. Scope out the environment and make sure the teachers understand what types of activities and language opportunities they need to be presenting to your child. read more

Horrifying. Today was to be my niece's first day. We walk in and there are three adults in the office not having a clue what was going on. Someone offhandedly said- I will walk you to the classroom. NEVER ASKED my name. Brought me into a classroom with at least 20 other kids running around and 3 teachers standing in line talking to each other and not even looking at the kids. I had to introduce myself to the teacher and ask what her name was. She did not even LOOK at my child. I stood there with my 2 year old niece who was obviously terrified, clinging to my leg and scared to let go of me.... waiting to see if any of the teachers would get down on her level and talk to her making her feel comfortable. Not one person even looked at her. I scooped her up and asked for my stuff back and the person who gave me the "tour" asked what was wrong. I asked her if she even read the paperwork I turned in. She said yes. (LIE). So I said "What was in it? What do you know about my niece?" (My sister in law just died two months ago). She said... "um.umm.... I will have to ask my manager". There is ZERO leadership given to these girls who are obviously just out of high school. read more

Parents be warned !!! If I could give this place minus stars I would! In a word I would call the care here neglectful - at best. My experience with this particular Kindercare was short and not at all sweet. I had just moved to the state from oversees and was looking for childcare for my 20 month old daughter. After attempting to phone several times I finally decided to drop in on spec for a tour. The first thing I noticed was that there was an overpowering smell of dirty diapers!! When I was shown the room that my daughter would have been admitted to I saw a ''teacher'' yelling at a toddler who had thrown up on herself. It was obvious that the child was ill and yet the teacher showed absolutely no concern and seemed extremely irritated that she had to clean up the child's vomit. All of this happened right in front of me - they didn't even bother to be discreet- I was horrified! I even mentioned it to the girl that wad giving the tour and she blatantly dismissed my concern and said my daughter could come for a trial the following day. That was when I said I definitely wasn't interested and would not be coming back. I would strongly advise parents of young children in particular to avoid this establishment at all costs! read more

The office staff is the most unprofessional people if you are in charge of children you should have some compassion some respect for the family for the children you should be friendly outgoing you should have a smile on your face greet every child and that is not what you get when you deal with these people the kitchen staff is the most friendliest out of all of this stuff. My grand child was hurt was attacked by another student and all the office stuff could say was that she started it so the other kid was just defending himself which was not true the teacher who was there in the room witnessed it said my granddaughter did nothing the office staff anytime you go to them they're extremely rude to you rolling their eyes having attitude I brought this up to corporate and all corporate could say was I've never experienced that from her but of course not because you're her boss why would she give you that attitude every day we pick up my granddaughter she's dirty her hair is a mess her clothes are stained the teachers don't interact with the children they give them something and tell them okay here we're going to play with Play-Doh they don't sit down with them they don't teach them anything pretty much all there there is the watch these kids run wild I don't feel safe having my granddaughter there you express your concerns and your concerns are nothing to them they act like you're an inconvenience they don't try to communicate with you we watch the teacher drag another student by her arm screaming at her across the floor brought it to their attention yes they let that teacher go but never said anything to us about it a child care facility should be something fun for kids my granddaughter cries every day she goes for the first month she had anxiety crying all day long saying don't take me to daycare we thought that was just because this was her first child care she ever went to but now I'm understanding why. You complain nothing ever comes of it even from corporate I don't understand how a place like this can continue to operate this way. read more
