I am a working mom. It's not easy leaving my kids in someone else's care. I need to be confident that my babies will be safe and loved while I am away! My kid loves Sweet Pea Academy. She is 4 and this is her 2nd year. She knows colors, shapes, and can count past 10. She brings home her projects and tells me what she learned. She loves it when the "stretching girls" come and teach the class how to stretch and exercise. She loves her teachers. She feels safe. She takes about a 90 minute nap every day. Every kid has a cubby to put their coat and backpack. They have outside play everyday (except during extreme temperatures.) They celebrate holidays and the kids birthdays. It's an energetic and fun environment! The staff has been very good in communicating issues that arise. They will call me if my kid is sick or if they have a concern. They notify via email regarding any contagious bugs going around in the daycare. And they also notify parents of changes in staff. The staff has been kind, warm and gracious. I feel that they truly care and love my kid! Children must be potty trained to attend. Staff do not regularly assist in bathroom. I have had other experiences in this community and lemme tell ya, this place is one of the best. I value Sweet Pea Academy. I would recommend their service! read more

I Love Sweet Pea Academy (daycare & pre-school) and their staff. I have had 1 child "graduate" from here and another who has a year to go before he starts Kindergarten. The best childcare and pre-school in the Tri-Cities! The class sizes are small and the learning environment is amazing.

I went in last week to check out this day care for my son. All I have to say is run! It was the first one I looked at, that is why it has taken me so long to review it. Parents don't waste your time. The floors r dirty, it looks like the carpet hasn't been changed/cleaned in 10 years. But the worst part while I was there, was the look on the students faces. They appeared to be bored. I personally want my child to be laughing, and having fun while learning. I feel bad for the kids that are there all day. Check out little playmates daycare. That is where I ended up enrolling my son. read more

Sweet Pea has a fabulous program for preschool age kids. My daughter started there at 2 1/2 and loves her teacher and friends. The class sizes are smaller than other daycare/preschools. They really care about their students and offer a clean safe fun learning environment for all. Their monthly themes keep the kids interested and engaged. We love Sweet Pea and are so happy to be there. read more

Sweet Pea was an amazing school for my children. I have 2 graduates from here... Both started kindergarten far above a normal level in both reading and math. The test they give the children upon entering kindergarten was way beneath their level and they both were beginning to read upon graduation! My children never did the same activity twice and got along great with the teachers. In fact, they ask to go back in the summers. I would highly recommend Sweet Pea to anyone! read more

Sweet Pea Academy is a excellent pre-school/daycare. You will NOT find better care for your child in Tri-Cities. All Staff is highly professional and trained, great staff to child ratio, well organized, very clean, excellent food program,and great academic program. The pre-school program prepare my child great for starting school. I could not be more happy with the daycare side. You know its a great place when your child wants to continue to go back even when they are in school! The kids were alway well taugh, entertained, learning,laughing, playing. The owners are great and care about each and every child. If your child has separation anxiety the owners will take care of them and help them feel welcome and loved in a new place. They will do what is best for each child and recogonize that not all child behave and act the same way. I was always able to get any questioned answered and felt confident that my child was well taken care off. To the person who only listed 1 star, I feel this had to be a mistake and maybe they reviewed the wrong business? None of there review matching my experiences in the past 4 years with sweet pea. read more
