If I could give 10 stars I would. My daughter had a bad experience with dance and then we switched to Central City Dance. She had a hard time going at first, but the teachers were patient and let her go at her own pac. Ms. Angela really connected with my daughter and my daughter enjoyed Hip Hop again. I am happy that we chose them. It has been nothing good for my daughter and the other parents have been nice to talk with while we wait for the kids. read more

Wow. Once you leave this place they block you from everything. Even if you were there for 6 years. Very spiteful people. I am disappointed in how former customers are treated. Seems like it's all about the money with these people. My daughter enjoyed her teachers but once she left the studio they blocked her from Instagram. Seems kind of childish to me. We are much happier in the studio we moved to. Should have made the move earlier. I could say more but just be wary. read more

I've been at this dance studio for 17 years and counting, would never dream of being anywhere else. Could not say nice enough things about it. Absolutely wonderful place to dance and the staff here are very well educated, passionate and so welcoming! This is an excellent dance studio. It is well organized and friendly. Most of all, it's clean. We tried a different dance studio at one time and it didn't compare. My only suggestion is the recitals are too long. It's such a big studio. I would recommend this studio to anyone. read more

This is a really great studio! :) The facilities are amazing, as is the staff! The owners are sure that the teachers continue their training by having them attend professional seminars in order to bring the best dance education to the students. If you are a new student, you can always find a coupon in mailers for $5 off a session. read more

Unethical, Make students feel like they are better than most and hide them from the outside dance community, Prominent favoritism and cliques. As a previous dancer, I do not recommend. This is not a hate post as I also made many wonderful memories, just overall I felt cheated. This studio did not allow me to reach my full potential and was extremely overpriced. Central City Dance was extremely remiss in preparing my 4 year old daughter for her recent ballet and tap recital. It makes me question what was going on in class. I have video of both classes unable to do the routine without looking in the mirror or at the teacher after eight months of class. In the video, the teacher doesn't even use the correct dance terminology. The words Plié, Releve and Passe were in one of the routines and my daughter did not know what those words meant. I have taught toddlers detailed routines in less time with precise results. If I had students in my care for eight months with no visible result, my abilities and commitment would be in serious question. It was so evident during the recital performance that the girls were lost. I had to teach my daughter the steps so that she could feel confident on stage. When you look at the show video, she is the only one doing the routines. Besides my regret of wasting over $650 on this "dance" program, I regret that I could not publically let people know that my daughter's performance was a result of the work I put in. I informed them about the lack of education but this behavior has been allowed to continue. More parents need to speak up about this so expectations for the dance education of children can change. read more

I have 6 granddaughters who dance at Central City. Their recitals, Christmas Spectacular and everything they do is first class! I look forward to their programs every year. I have found their staff to be extremely friendly, very helpful, and eager to answer questions. Younger staff provides a more energetic atmosphere!
