That's great that your house sells or the sale is pending but I think taking it off of the roster of open houses is the least you can do so people don't waste their time. Three different cars (including us) all pulled up at the same time for one today just after the posted start time and none were very happy to see that a sale pending sign had been put up. Not the best way to make an impression and I'll likely overlook open house listings by them in the future just because of this track record they're amassing.

We originally listed our house three years ago with a different Realtor from a large firm. The results were underwhelming and we eventually took the house off the market. Not only that, but my husband and I got the clear sense that the Realtor in question didn't care much about or house or us as clients. Fast forward to 2014 and I am SO incredibly glad that I chose JP Faulkner Realty to be our selling agent as well as the agent who helped us find our new home. From the get-go he came across as market-savvy (he SELLS Clintonville, which is why I chose him) as well as personable, incredibly funny, and simply, kind. He's young enough to "get" us as people but also old enough to have grown up with the Clintonville market as a true peer, who understands the transformations the neighborhood has undergone in the past ten years and what that means for buyers and sellers alike. Working with him was like working with a razor-smart, compassionate, and at times brutally honest best friend. He helped us transform our charming but lived-in home into the property of any buyer's dreams. He has such an incredible eye for color, design and staging. Do you watch Design Star on HGTV? This man could kick all of their rears, and he made our house look simply amazing. Not only that but he was incredibly diligent and savvy in pricing the property so that we could come away with the most money possible. And when our house sold in THREE days, he was right there waiting to take us out to look for our new house. We spent a lot of time with him over two days, one of which was attended by our very young (and whiny!) children. He handled it all with such kindness, humor and grace. He even made us stop at Dairy Queen one afternoon so he could buy my 4-year-old daughter ice cream! He listened intensely to our desires and requirements and helped us find the perfect new home. He even helped us meet the new neighbors! I just have nothing but wonderful things to say about JP Faulkner and his team. Real estate transactions can be fraught and this has been a dream process. I walk our neighborhood frequently and note the homes that just aren't selling. I always want to knock on their doors and tell them to call JP.

We decided to sell our home in Clintonville " For Sale By Owner". It was wintertime and we had an…read moreopen house and a couple of inquiries, but after two months we decided we needed some professional help. We contacted Kurt and he immediately took control of the process. He made recommendations on things we could do to better prepare the house for showing, he worked with our schedule to set up open houses, and at all times was responsive to any questions or concerns that we had ( selling a home that we had lived in for 26 years was to say the least stressful). After two open houses we received an offer that we accepted. We addressed the requested remedies that we deemed valid and hesitated on the ones that were not. Out of the blue Kurt received an offer that was $25,000 over the asking price. Kurt then proceeded to successfully represent us for the purchase of the condo in which we presently reside. A few years later the landlord of the property that I ran my business out of informed me that our rent would double or not be renewed at all. After the panic subsided I called Kurt and asked him to give top priority to finding my company a suitable new location. Within 24 hours he found the perfect building. I looked at it that day and immediately signed a purchase agreement. Because it was vacant we closed on it within a few days. Problem solved and we have been there ever since. The owner of the house I rented was kind of a tool, but the full circle has treated us fairly. The house we were in had issue but full circle really tried to fix them. The owner decided to sell our house after 4 years of renting. Full circle really went above and beyond to making sure we had enough time to find something new and even helped us look. The owner is very compassionate and fair. I would rent from them again!
