Rex Varilek, the owner, personally took care of my truck as his technicians were on vacation for memorial day weekend. Despite his busy schedule, he took excellent care of me and helped me diagnose an issue with my truck that I had been experiencing. He offered printed screens of all the diagnostics and took the time to answer all the questions I had for him. Nothing but courteous and patient. I only had my diagnostic service done so I can't speak to the maintenance services, but Rex was dedicated to helping another customer before me get back on the road. My understanding is he worked from 7 am to when he helped me at around 6pm. I highly recommend Precision Diesel. They have the technical expertise and experience and provide the friendly customer service you would expect from a Mid-West business.

I called around and got estimates for putting in a new water pump. In talking to Dave at Carlisle's in Creston, it would be costly but his estimate was the most reasonable. So I made my appointment and brought my car in. later, I received a call from Dave with great news; it wasn't the pump after all, it was a different part that cost a lot less to fix; what a blessing. Can you believe how honest he was when he could have just replaced the pump like I assumed was the problem anyway? You can't find honest people like that any too easy anymore.
