I finally got the DON and told her what was going on and about ten minutes after she left me sitting in a common area I hear a code silver called! I was in that facility for over 30 minutes before I ever laid eyes on my cousin! And there was no apologies made!! The next day I go there and they brought my cousin's roommate a dinner tray 15 minutes later I'm still labeling his clothes and a CNA comes in and I asked her "does he not get to eat tonight?" Her response was oh, he didn't get a tray? Do you see a tray? No he didn't get a tray!!!!! Had I not been there would he have even got to eat dinner that night? Then I go up there last night and my cousin has bruises on his face!!! Asked his nurse about it and NO ONE seems to know what happened or why he has them but his (thinking i must be stupid) is trying to tell me that these fresh bruises are from where he fell on March 25 th (which we were not notified about)!!! Yet I have pictures with my cousin from Tuesday with no bruises and now it's Friday and there's bruises there. Nothing charted that he fell!!! Nothing charted about the bruises being on his face! nothing and no one can explain or tell me what happened! This is completely unacceptable on many levels!!!! His call light button was hanging on the wall where he could not reach if he needed help, his fall mat was folded in half at the head of the bed (not doing him much good if he falls out of the bed) and he had NO water, no water pitcher, NOTHING to drink! Not even a cup to put water in!! My cousin cannot speak up for himself! People you have to be diligent and advocate for your loved ones!!!!! This place is a shit hole!!!!!!! In the process of getting my cousin moved asap. Contacted the Florida ombudsman, State and an attorney!!! Don't trust these people to have your loved one's best interest at heart, because they don't!!!

They give my brother the best care they feed , change and bathe him and give him his medications. They also make sure he drinks plenty of fluids. The office personnel and staff are exceptional. I was also a patient there when I had my hip replacement surgery I also received the best care and therapy to get back up on my feet as this was the second time I had total hip replacement the first one was 42 years before . I used to be an avid runner and was slowly getting back to it until I got rear ended at a red light yet again (Life Happens). I was going to a physical therapist for several months and didn't see any improvement in pain levels or any sight in ever hitting the pavement pain again. Weaker than ever I decided to meet with the team at AdventHealth. They went through a series of questions, watched my gait as I walked, and immediately was able to walk me through their plan and sent me home with exercises to help assist the process. The facility is new and super accessible friendly. There are oversized elevators that could easily fit four wheel chairs if necessary. The bathrooms have accessible showers with rails and rails on the toilet as well. The chairs in the waiting room are easy to get up from and all of their equipment are accessible friendly as well! They also have four Tesla battery chargers and several handicap spots. All in all, David Garcia and the whole AdventHealth crew have been so supportive and encouraging even during moments I really didn't think I had it in me. We still have a long road to go but I'm hopeful and excited to see what the future holds.

I'm getting…read morethe therapy from Leonard Mitchell, a doctor in physical therapy, and am very happy even after 2 sessions (and the home exercises) for my adhesive encapsulated shoulder. He warms the shoulder up with an exercise machine then stretches and manipulates the shoulder putting pressure on it before I do a few new exercises. They're very caring and accommodating. I requested a heating pad first to start the warm up and he gladly did that for me. I had previously come to this center and a physical therapist assistant took care of me, Brittany, and she was spot on, too. I'm inspired to do the exercises (and I'm lazy and undisciplined for repetitive exercises) seeing the progress even in a short period. I took some pics, but they're limited because the center protects patients privacy so I was asked to not include patients in the pics, even from behind. I like their professionalism.
