I absolutely love the team here. Matt is a perfectionist and strives for the best possible results. He also has a genuine interest and concern for his patients. His whole team is wonderful and it's a unique experience where they make you feel like family. I know I am not the only one who feels this way as I have heard other patients say this same thing. The front desk staff are sweet and very helpful. They are always flexible with my schedule and good at setting up appointments that work with my schedule. The physical therapists are awesome as well. I'm 37 and have had chronic back pain as long as I can remember. My pain management doctor recommended that I try physical therapy for 8 weeks. I was highly doubtful PT would help me, but I followed my doctor's orders. I found Stride PT & Rehab through an Internet search and luckily they took my insurance. It's now 8 weeks later and I feel like myself again! Dr. Matt Contino Stride Physical Therapist and Rehabilitation I had to take the time to locate a few sites where I can share comments about this man. In this day and age it's rare to hear about, let along find a physician or therapist that has genuine concern and will take the time to accurately diagnose, personally customize your treatment, and then dedicate his time and attention to your recovery. I believe Dr. Contino takes personal pride in his work, loves a good challenge and settles for nothing less than the maximum possible recovery. I injured my hand severely and had spent 6 weeks between 2 rehabilitation facilities in Orlando where I did not feel a personal interest was taken to insure that I would regain full use. I was then referred to Stride Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation by a previous patient. Dr. Matt Contino (though he'll insist you call him Matt) spent more time evaluating and testing every little movement then did the previous treatment facilities. He then began personalized treatment and was with me every step of the way, every visit. Extremely through and knowledgeable, measuring my progress each visit and determining the next rehabilitative step. My personal treatment was adjusted almost weekly on a very individual basis. I also must mention that he may have the most amazing laser treatment for relief of inflammation. I was skeptical but I can honestly tell you the results were undeniable after my 2nd treatment; seems it did in one week what had not happened in the previous 4 or more weeks, the swelling was remarkably improved allowing for better movement of my joints so I was able to tackle rehab head on. I must also mention that his staff is equally as focused and concerned. I am more that grateful for my 100% recovery and full use of my hand with no residual. I have taken the time to share my experience with you for that reason; I don't believe that would have been the case had had I not had the good fortune of being referred to Dr. Contino. read more

This is an amazing practice and I feel blessed to have been a patient of Matt. I first came to see Matt years ago with pain so terrible I could not walk. Planter Fasclitis. other doctors wanted to do surgery but I certainly was not interested in that . I obtain a referral to a PT of my choice. Thus my journey with Stride Physical Therapy began. Matt saw and evaluated me and explained the treatment that he believed would help me. Now he utilized the amazing better than anything ever laser treatment. I did not expect it but the very next day it was some better. Several more laser treatments and Matt's expertise I soon was pain free. I had to return at a later date for a different issue. I had balance issues and feet that are suffering from 73 years of walking this great earth. It was like returning to a friends home. The atmosphere in the office is so relaxed and and the kindness that all of the staff exhibit is just wonderful. To find this type of caring is so rare these days. I also referred my daughter to Matt as she was recovering from a very severe broken ankle. She of course was aware of my success treatments. She drive 2 hours one way to see Matt and experienced the same extremely successful treatment. In no time she was better.
