I AM SO MAD I've been seeing this Dr. for years with the same insurance. I missed my appointment last year because I had a cancerous BRAIN TUMOR. I called their office to reschedule but could never connect and they have no way to leave a message. I liked the doctor, but HATE the office staff which she controls. Now to schedule an appointment they make you go online and wait 72hrs. to see if they accept your insurance they've been taking for years ‍‍‍! UnF'ing believable!!!! What the hell? They are SO INCOMPETENT they can't even tell you if they take your insurance - when it hasn't changed . Went to see Dr Sprock a couple months ago and the minute I walked in they couldn't get my cash fast enough.. office staff made a point of saying it was non refundable.. I thought that was strange but sat down filled paperwork out and waited and waited and waited.. now I know why they said it's non refundable bcuz they knew the dr was overbooked and I might want to leave if I had to wait that long..I had a 1 pm appt and I didn't get to see the dr until 3:40.. I was there bcuz I thought I had a uti.. instead of telling me she was going to insert a catheter to draw urine she did it without letting me know.. I thought she was just doing a pelvic exam and I would urinate in a cup. It was very painful and she was very dismissive.. I made another appt and thought maybe it was just a fluke and I'd give her another chance.. wanted to get my pap done. Two days bfor the appt my mom had a bad fall off of a chair and broke a couple ribs.. she lives in Orlando and I had to go assist her and stay there.. when I called the office staff person was well ur gonna have to pay a cancellation fee.. I said u have got to be kidding me.. i should bill u for the 2 hour wait from my first appt. She didn't even say so sry ur mom fell & I hope she recovers quickly.. the only thing she was concerned about was getting more money out of me. I don't recommend the office or the dr. I found the doctor to be very self involved cared more about how she looked than her patients health. The whole set-up is cold and unfriendly with no privacy for the patients. The office seems to care more for peddling goods than treating patients. read more

Office called at 11am and asked me to come in at 1pm to discuss diagnostic results. I asked to please share results over the phone so I can prepare myself for the consultation when I get to the office at 1pm. They refused to give me my results over the phone and demanded I come at 1pm. I told them no, not without knowing my results first. Office said 'I am putting in your chart that you refused to come in.' My online portal information was wiped clean that day. I have no access to MY health records. I had to call the diagnostic center to get my results. Tumor. Dr. Sprock DID NOT call to share this information with me. She has a duty to share that kind of health results with a patient. After four visits in just 40 days, I've decided not to continue care with this office. Despite undergoing multiple tests, I left without a conclusive diagnosis--ironically for a condition I wasn't even seeking help for initially. The office seems overly focused on billing. Card fees (even on HSA and debit cards) are inconsistently applied--only cash or check avoids them. In all the cases, I was charged before even checking in. Once you request for receipt or explanation, they mistreat you. Wait times were excessive--over 2.5 hours at every visit. I was left undressed in the exam room for long stretches with no updates. When I asked if the doctor had forgotten me, I was told she was "backed up". In that case, it would have been more respectful and accommodating to let me wait in the outside room instead (it happened in 2 sequential visits). The environment is also not what I'd expect from a medical office. While I respect their support for working mothers, having babies in the office during business hours led to frequent crying, which made the experience feel unprofessional. The front desk is absolutely incompetent. I showed up for my appointment and they informed me that they couldn't take my medical FSA card because it said debit. They no longer take debit cards. I tried to explain that you can run it through as credit that's how I use the card for all my medical billing; it's not even assigned a pin. They kept referring to a letter taped to the window as if that solved my issue. I asked them if they contacted their patients to let them know and obviously they hadn't. I then gave them my bank card and again wouldn't take it because it said debit! Again referring to the stupid letter! They even suggested I go to an atm or grocery store to get cash out like I was making some back alley transaction or write a check. When's the last time someone wrote a check? Especially to a drs office?? Then when I told them I'm not going to chase around cash for my appt they stated they were was going to charge me a $50 cancellation fee if I didn't pay. I would like to know how that was going to be possible if they can"t bill me or charge my account or accept a valid credit card. Out of the five credit cards I pulled out I found one that didn't say debit and paid the damn bill. I WILL NOT BE COMING BACK! What kind of medical office doesn't have the ability to take all forms of payment. Especially if they don't inform their patients before to make other arrangements. Wouldn't help with something very basic. Now I remember why I had to go elsewhere. Yes, the catheter hurt and wasn't told anything about it.

A couple of years ago, I got a referral here from the base clinic (spouse of active duty), and they refused to see me. They made up a reason, saying they didn't get the referral from Tricare. I contacted the base, and they confirmed the referral was sent. I also faxed a copy to them. Still nothing. When I called the office, the receptionist first said they would call me back, but they never did. After a couple of days, I called again, and the receptionist simply hung up on me in the middle of a phrase (I was always polite, just wanted an update). I reported this encounter to Tricare (the agent confirmed the referral authorization), and I hope they drop this office as a provider, as this is a disrespectful and time-wasting practice towards the patient, who needs help with a delicate matter. Some people delay seeing a specialist in this field, and then, when they finally muster the nerve to get a referral, they receive a treatment like this. Reading the reviews now, it looks like their attitude hasn't changed since then. Also, seeing what other people write, I'm actually glad I never got in. So beware and think twice about how 'caring' this office is. read more

Rude and abrasive. Last time waited over an hour for a two minute procedure. Told her I would book her first appointment since I'm too old (81) to wait that long. Went yesterday at 8 AM. One patient in front of me. They took her and a few minutes later called me in. Nurse to my vitals and did a scan of my bladder and told me the doctor would be in soon. Heard her talking to patient in the next room and then heard her out in the main office talking for a while to the nurse. Figured she see me next. No, she went into see someone else who must have had an appointment after me. After 40 minutes I got dressed and walked out saying goodbye to the nurse at a computer who never looked up. This morning, I got an email for a $75 unpaid bill from Dr. SPROCK. Called her office to say that I was there, the doctor was not and it is illegal to double bill. I was put on hold and after 5 minutes, hung up. Oh, and her waiting room and parking lot were empty when I left. read more

Trevor in billing was extremely rude. I was told I would have to schedule an appointment with the Doctor aka his mother if I wanted to question a charge. First visit was a consult on a Tuesday.New office worker was present and gave me an appointment 2 days later which i believed was 9 days later on the following Thursday. Dr Sprock had me buy what looked like a hat to keep track of my urine dispense. She told me it needed to be done over 24 hrs. I had planned on doing tjis over the weekend. Thursday, 2 days later i realize the appt was that thursday! I called immediately and explain that I needed time to plan what she wanted me to do and that the new girl must have misunderstood the day for next appt. They said I had to pay a 75$ no show fee! Then the receptionist said they don't deal with billing. I paid my copay! I keep getting billed for a no show when it was amistake on their behalf.. Never going back there! read more

Dr. Sprock is the best doctor I have ever encountered and that is saying something, because between me and my husband I have seen a lot of doctors. It was my first visit. She was well prepared, knew my history, is a great listener and very knowledgeable, unlike those doctors that are just phoning it in. I saw this "Dr." 9 mos ago after coming down with a very painful UTI. Her attitude is extremely arrogant and rude. She does not seem to like conversation/questions from patients. Those people saying she is compassionate are not being honest. She doesn't care if you are in pain, she doesn't care if you have questions - she insists on using a catheter EVERY SINGLE time you come for an apt - no matter how much pain you are in. I was in so much pain with my recurring UTI and saw her over the course of approx. about a month. The last time I went in, I literally could not pass urine at all and was in extreme pain. She again, catheterized me and drained the urine - providing relief, and then sent me HOME with no meds, no nothing - saying my urine sample had not shown UTI. At 4 a.m. the next morning, I was in the emergency room, in extreme pain because I couldn't pass urine. They checked me - I had a raging UTI. They gave me pain medication, antibiotics, and sent me home with a catheter to be kept in place for 5 days. Then I had to go back to her again to have it removed. I never went back after that, and never will again. Everytime I think about this Dr. I feel not only disappointed - but angry. I agree with every one star rating here on this site - RUN do not walk - avoid this practice completely. It takes A LOT for me to leave a negative review on anyone or anything - but this one is well deserved. read more

I think Dr. Sprock is the best Euro-gynecologist in Brevard. I have been to see her twice and she discovered that I have an auto-immune disease that needs to be treated and I will have it for the rest of my life. I am 75 and this was devastating news. I am choosing to have her do the 3 treatments that are done using "state of the art" techniques. I went to another Euro-gynecologist and I wound up seeing her NP and she couldn't and didn't find it. That would be Dr. Tieu and I would not recommend seeing her as you don't see her, you ONLY SEE HER NP. I think Dr. Sprock is up on all the new techniques, machinery and everything else that goes along with being a doctor in 2020. read more

I was having complications post hysterectomy. She literally aggressively and painfully and without my knowledge rammed a catheter in me, knowing I was having post surgical complications and she took a picture of my privates with her personal cell phone without my consent. This medical practice actually gave me back my life at 65. I immediately appreciated that Dr Sprock believed me when I said I know my body and know when something isn't quite right. It was my bladder, which my primary care refused to take the time to investigate. I started a series of painless (weird but painless) PTNS treatments and saw an immediate improvement in my urinary behavior and comfort. I went from needed to pee all night long several times and only a dribble, couldn't hold it etc. to getting up once at night if at all, and it's a full stream. I no longer feel like I need to pee constantly. My sex life improved too! As we age the tissue lining of the vagina thins to almost paper. My treatment along with DHEA suppository remedied that. The real improvement is the EMSULA chair. Wow. I felt an improvement after 1 session. I'm now almost 66 and feel better as an adult female than I have for 15-20 years. This is great!!! Dr Sprock listens, believes in overlapping science with nature, and believes in the power of our bodies. She is the best medical practitioner I've ever encountered. The staff is all SUPER. read more

Do yourself a favor and avoid this place as if it were the plagued. The front desk does, as of this date, have kind women working there. That is the only good thing I can say about this place. They (the practice) will have you waiting for the doctor well over an hour. It is so bad that they even have printed papers scotch taped inside the office walls stating that if you leave, you will be charged a fee, even if you did show up on time for your appointment and it is them making you wait. Think about that. You are on time, you ARE paying them even if through your insurance, and they have the gall to keep you waiting over an hour and threaten to still charge you if you leave out of sheer exasperation! Additionally as a new patient, this doctor has you filling out a looong list of EXTREMELY personal questions about your sex life, along with all the expected ones about your families' health history and HIPPA document to sign as they make you wait. Then they come and pick up the papers and leave you hanging there, undressed for over an hour. When Dr. Sprock dignifies herself to come into the office to see you, she is accompanied by some assistant who does not even introduce herself and who throws three ADDITIONAL papers at you to initialize and sign, while the doctor is asking you questions. Think about this. Why would they thrust three additional papers under your nose to sign knowing you can't read them because the doctor is already talking to you and asking you questions? Also, why didn't they include those documents with the pile of other ones that they had you filling out as you waited (over an hour) for the doc to come in? Now for the worst part of all. This doctor is EXTREMELY invasive. She does not even ask if she may thrust her fingers up your butt, nor does she explain that she will be inserting a catheter up your urinary track to take a sample of your urine! She just does it! Why isn't she handing you a cup to pee in vs. being so invasive and without any notice? There was absolutely no reason for her to do this! I was NOT visiting her for Urology issues so she was not justified in doing this. Had I even given her a bleep of a doubt that I needed to be tested for this... but I didn't. She even made me bleed she was so brusque and abrupt about it, and didn't even say she was sorry. She literally checks you (Gynecologically speaking), and a nanosecond latter has her finger up your butt and the next nanosecond she has inserted a tube up your urine tract. You don't even process this is happening, she does it so unexpectedly and quickly, that you have no time to protest. She then orders a slew of other tests for you, pushes a specific place to have them done with some cockamamie excuse as to why you have use that place and then she then just runs out of the office. I feel violated. By a doctor! This woman does whatever she wants with you, without your consent! She glories herself saying that she likes to test your heart because many women die from heart attacks. She orders CT scan type tests of your heart. It is well known that those tests can increase your chances of getting cancer. Why would you do these with her vs. a heart doctor if you are feeling bad? She is a URO GYNECOLOGIST! She is not even a primary care doctor, and she thrusts all these un related tests on to you, to be preformed at a certain place... think about that. Beware of this "doctor". She might have helped a few people discover they were having heart problems, but at the cost of playing with every single patient and their body, without their permission or consent. She plays Russian roulette with your body for the off chance she will find something wrong with your weary old 70+ body (chances are you do have several somethings) . But she is NOT the doctor you authorize to do all that to you. She just does it without even blinking twice. Very entitled to you and your body. read more

Dr. Sprock is a wonderful doctor. On the other hand, her staff is horrible and extremely rude. I had been seeing Dr. Sprock for a few years and referred many people to her over the years. While her bedside manner is different and many complained of this, I liked Dr. Sprock so I tried to look past her staff. She preformed IncontiLase on me for which unfortunately, did not work and was quite expensive. On my first visit to see her, I was weighed by a staff member or medical assistant (whatever she was) and she called me fat....yes really! And said, "have you ever considered trying to lose weight?" I replied sarcastically, "no, I love being fat as you called me." I was horrified. On subsequent visits, I did not accept their offer to step on the scale. My last visit to see her for my yearly woman's exam, was the final straw with her staff. I arrived 20 minutes before my appointment. I waited over an hour past my appointment time before I was called back. One of the staff members, (medical assistant) wanted me to get on the scale. I kindly replied, "no thank you." She rudely demanded I get on, in which I kindly responded again, "no thank you". Another staff member (the same one who called me fat a few years earlier) stated in a very nasty tone, "you have to get weighed or your insurance won't pay." I got out my phone and called my insurance company. The insurance rep said this was not true and they will still pay for the visit regardless of whether I got on the scale. The lady that called me fat was dumbfounded and didn't know what to say after being caught in a lie. So I said, "if Dr. Sprock refuses to see me, I'll just have to find another doctor." They all stared at me in silence. At which point, I didn't know what to do, so I left. Shorty after that horrible experience, I received a $30 no show fee/late fee bill. I called the office to ask what it was for and another staff member said it was because I was a "no show". When I explained that, not only was I there, but that I was there waiting for over an hour. She then changed her story and said it was because I walked out. When I explained that my insurance was still going to pay even if I didn't get weighed, she changed the story yet again and said, "it's Dr. Sprocks policy that you must get weighed". I explained that I had been coming for years and many times I was not weighed. And if there had been a policy change, I should have been notified prior to my visit so I wouldn't have wasted almost 2 hours of my time there. I continued to explain that I, too, have a busy schedule and because Dr. Sprock was running so behind and no one told me ahead of time, I had to cancel a few of my patients for that day. She said she would talk to Dr. Sprock and see what she could do. Nevertheless, I continue to get the no show/late fee bill. I have referred many, many people to Dr. Sprock but after this nightmare with her staff, no more. Health First has an awesome Urogynecologist over in Viera. Do not go here! Her staff was kind and caring throughout my two months experience. The Doctor herself was unprofessional and rude to say the least and didn't explain anything to me. Her staff had to explain what was happening to me throughout. I wasted too much time to be just waiting for her in the waiting room because she over booked or was under staffed. All I did was wait for this Doctor to tell me what was wrong and all she did was want me to take test after test. I explained to her my problem and she would completely ignore what I was saying and seemed to be shocked that many tests would back up what I was saying in the first place. I have been to many doctor appointments and this qualifies as the worst experience i have ever had at a doctors office. What a terrible experience. I waited 2 hours to be seen and the doctor never even said she was sorry. In fact she seemed offended when i asked if they forgot me. I was treated very rudely by the office staff who seemed very put out when i had to call back to clarify my medicine instructions. They made me feel like it was inappropriate to question how i should be taking the medicine. They were VERY unprofessional and RUDE. On the only positive side a procedure that was performed on me was done well with minimal discomfort, but that did not overcome the rest of this experience. I have been to Dr. Sprock several times between initial appointment to follow up and I have been very happy with everything. I was worried to go and talk to somebody about my problem, but felt at ease there. They have a very friendly, helpful and educational environment.
