*DO NOT RENT WITH CENTRAL ILLINOIS LIMOUSINE* We rented with this company for our wedding 8/2012 and they were absolutely horrible. Customer service is nonexistant. Phone number from their website (309) 339-6305 I believe is to an answering service and not to the actual company. When searching for the address of their business - 21 Warwick Circle Morton, IL 61550 - Google Maps shows placement of business on map as approximate. Actual address or offices for the company cannot be found. On the day of our wedding, driver called to tell us they were running late. When they arrived, the bus that showed up was in way worse condition than the photo they sent us when we reserved. Air conditioning didn't work, blew only hot air - driver's reasoning was it's 90 degrees outside and the bus couldn't keep up with the heat, however driver had the mounted fan on the front of the bus on and faced towards him to try and keep himself cool, nevermind the other 14 passengers on the bus. During the ride, I was sitting at the front of the bus holding the handrail during the extremely jarring ride when noticed that my hand was sticking to post. I literally had to peel my hand off the rail and found grey/silver paint came off with it. The driver first said "That's not paint... ", then told us they just came from a Northwestern game and that was the reason there was paint on the handrail. While showing my husband the paint all over my hand, our driver had to slam on the brakes coming within a foot of hitting a pedestrian - all 14 of us on the bus can serve as witnesses to this. At the drop-off point, we all unloaded from the vehicle about a half an hour earlier than listed on our contract and the limo left the location. About 10 minutes later, we realized my husband left his cell phone on the bus and we called the driver to let him know to come back. He told us he was already too far away to come back and we would have to come and get it - note that we are still within our 2-hour contract time frame. Because it was our wedding day, we decided to just let it be, head into the reception and pick up the phone the following day. On Sunday, the following day, the driver used my husband's cell phone to call my cell phone but we weren't able to get to my phone in time before it went to missed call, but we called it back immediately 2 or 3 times in a row with no answer. The driver then texted from my husband's cell phone to my cell phone - "Will call you back in a few minutes." But then never called us back. We called and texted multiple times after that and throughout the day with no response. We called the phone number listed on their website and talked to more answering service people who took our name and number down and put our request in as "urgent". No response. Because we weren't getting any repsonses back from anyone about our phone, my husband decided to cancel his service on the phone so that it would not be able to be used. On Monday, we tried again to get our phone back before leaving for our honeymoon. We drove to the 21 Warwick Circle address in Morton to try and go into their offices but couldn't find it. We called the phone number from their website and told them we were at the address but didn't see the offices, and they were couldn't tell us where to go to find it either, just took our name and information and said someone would get back to us. We finally received a phone call from someone named Steve with a (312) area code who said he would contact the driver but that typically their drivers all have other jobs and this job is mostly their second or third jobs, but that he would contact our driver from Saturday when he gets into the office and would get back to us. No response after that. We have left numerous messages at their answering service phone number as well as Steve's phone number and still no response. It's been 11 days since they called and texted from my husband's cell phone (before he shut off the service) and still no response or conclusion. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and am reviewing anywhere I can so that anyone who is looking for limousine services knows, go with someone else - DO NOT GO WITH CENTRAL ILLINOIS LIMOUSINE! read more

ATTENTION ALL BRIDES....If you want your party bus to show up for your wedding DO NOT rent from this company. I hired this company 3 months before my wedding. They told me to call back a week ahead of time to confirm. NO ONE would answer the phone! They ask for the money ahead of time so you are locked in. I finally got a hold of someone 2 days before my wedding and he sounded mad that we were trying to call him. We confirmed for Saturday and NO ONE showed up the day of my wedding. BEWARE! DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY! I was the maid of honor for a wedding and the bride wanted a party bus and this was the cheapest company i found. Now i know why! first off they were an hour and 45 minutes late! Steve the owner told me we could fit 25 people on this bus and it only had 14 seats! Alot of the women had to drive themselves because there was no room! The bus was disgusting! the license plate was falling off and it had no dash lights and no aux chord like he promised me! I felt very unsafe! he charged me $500 dollars for this bus and then the next day after the party charged me and extra $200 for god knows what reason and would not return my phone calls to give me an explanation! This is just the beginning...before this whole experience the mother of the bride had already reserved a party bus from him before this nightmare and he would not refund her the money! Steve told the bride that she could pick her party bus for the wedding. She picked out a picture and said this is the one i want! On the day of her wedding they sent the same exact party bus from the bachelorette party! Bridezilla came out that day and demanded they send a new bus. They did and as we were pulling into the town were the destination was at everyone in the bus started to smell a burning smell! the bus was on fire and we had no brakes! The groom had to take control of the bus while the driver (who had no license) had to stop the bus by prying apart a few chords because the bus did not start with a key! COMPLETELY FRAUDULENT!! My wife found this company on-line and we made the terrible mistake of hiring them to provide a limo bus for our wedding. We gave them an initial deposit of $250 then another $250 the day before the wedding and confirmed they would pick our wedding party up at the church the following day. THEY DID NOT SHOW UP! They did not call and we called them several times and left several voice mails to find out where they were and got no response. Eventually we gave up and decided to enjoy the rest of our wedding day. I then proceeded to call them numerous times over the next few days and also sent emails and got no response. Finally, 4 days after the wedding some guy named Steve called back and said the bus had broke down in Bloomington the night before the wedding. I asked why he did not call and tell us and he said he tried but we must of not had service. He claims he got voice mail once so I asked why he did not leave a message and he said he would have rather told us as opposed to leaving a message (so apparently in his mind leaving us stranded outside the church on our wedding day was a better alternative.) Over the course of the next few months I had the misfortune of dealing with Steve to try and get our refund. He gave me several different stories, told me several lies, ignored phone call and emails, offered to make up for the whole thing by giving us a free limo ride (which I found laughable) and to top it off he called me several profane names and told me that I was "being annoying" by trying to get a refund for services that were not provided. Eventually, after several of his lies (which included him supposedly mailing us a check that never came) he actually said he would go into the bank and deposit the remaining $249 he owed us. He DID deposit $200 but stiffed us on the last $49. Bottom line, this alleged "company" is a disaster and fraudulent and "Steve", if that is actually his name, was without a doubt the most unprofessional person I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with in my entire life. read more

I have used this company twice as an employee of a local business who uses the regularly. Never had a problem. Clean vehicles and always on time. I'm not sure why they have bad reviews. I recommend since the are reliable and cheap. read more

I am apparently the bride that is trying to ruin the reputation? Yes I did post a review which some how is no longer posted about my experience and I have no idea who any other the other reviews are from. I did have a friend in my wedding who did a review as well but only because she was in a bachelorette party the weekend after my wedding and had rented through the same company and they also failed to show up. Claimed they were stuck in mud and sent a picture of the bus stuck in mud...funny thing is, if you gouge "bus stuck in mud" you can find the same picture! From a garden tour in 2009! Wow....I am not a person that likes drama or to draw something out...my problem with the company is this....we paid a lot of money for our wedding....a lot for our photographer (which was only able to get a few shots of us in the parking lot in the church because we waited for 2 hours for the bus that never showed up) every bride wants pictures with the girls in the bridal party, i didn't get any because once we got a hold of someone from the company they said they were sending a bus...never came...called back saying one was on its way...never came....then called and said they were not coming....we spent money on food and drinks for the bus that just got thrown away as well. I will never get that day back. The only reason why I post any reviews on the company is because people put a lot of work and money into weddings to make the day go right and no one deserves to have their day ruined because someone does not know how to run a business....My wedding was September 1st. We were told on a few occasions that a check was being sent or funds would be back on the card and neither has happened. I am getting threatened with legal action for telling the truth? Freedom of speech.....WE have turned in papers for small claims to get our money back. I have not received any legal papers that they claim in the post they have done. They have no grounds to stand on when everything I have said about my experience is the truth. read more
