The purpose of this review is not to discredit the breeder, but it is to inform others of what they may encounter. The following is our experience purchasing a puppy from Kevin: We agreed to purchase an "f1b bernedoodle" (a rather large breed) from Kevin. Several weeks after purchasing the puppy, and no sign of the registration papers in the mail, we found our puppy's brother for sale (online) as a miniature bernedoodle. When confronting Kevin about our situation, he stated "I thought I told you she was a miniature on the phone." Prior to the purchase of the puppy, I did not speak with Kevin on the phone. We communicated strictly through email and there was no mention of our puppy being a miniature breed. I still have the email trail. In addition, the one year health guarantee he provided to us on the date of purchase indicated she was an "f1b bernedoodle." If we did not happen to discover she was a miniature breed, I believe he would have never told us. Although Kevin's mistake may have been more deceitful in nature than innocent, he owned up to it and offered to refund our money with the return of our puppy. By that time, we had grown attached to our new puppy and did not wish to return her, despite being a miniature breed. We were trying to be fair, so we settled for a partial return of our money as long as we would still be provided with the registration papers for the puppy. We did receive some paperwork (that we have to mail in ourselves) but it is the wrong paperwork and we have not heard anything back from Kevin since we made him aware. We have two Bernedoodles from Central illinois Puppland, Murphy who is two and Fiona who is 10 months. They are wonderful, playful and they have a wonderful temperament. They play with our grandchildren and the children in our neighborhood all the time. They love to cuddle and are a joy to us. We even recommended our son get his Bernedoodle from them. His puppy (who is now a year old) is also a wonderful addition to the family, and is amazing with his daughters. Highly recommend this breeder. read more

We're thrilled with our Bernese Mountain Dog. The facilities where the puppies are clean, open and well cared for. When we arrived to pick out our puppy we were overwhelmed with the wagging tails and smiling faces. All of the dogs seemed so happy and socialized. What a great experience!
