These patients sing praises about Forte, from the doctors to the nurses to the efficient people at the front desk. From a visitor's point of view, Forte is great. They are very straightforward with their instructions, which I appreciate. Just tell me what to do and what to expect, and I'll do it and expect it. Everything went pretty much according to what they said. They have a smoothly running system here. Visitors can help themselves to the unlimited coffee and water at the coffee and water station. This is where the Little Free Library is located! The waiting room also has multiple seating arrangements, from high-top desks to comfy chairs to love seats. Or, if you need something to eat or drink, there's a cafe on the first floor. (See my separate review for La Verna Cafe.) The waiting room is airy and bright. One thing that's kinda weird is that a "cruise director" comes and talks about what to expect with your surgery ... right in the waiting room, among all those random people. That seems unusual, right? However, there are private rooms that you're taken to when the time comes to talk about your particular case with the doctor. As a visitor who is not a patient, Forte is great. But I've been told that it's also great being a patient here, so there's that.

I've had plantar fasciitis for years and have treated it half ass with home remedies, but it has gotten worse due to neglect. On my first visit, they took an X-ray and ultrasound of both feet. Dr. Vogel identified the problems and thoroughly explained to me what he saw so that I could get a better understanding. He recommended I try some inserts and come back in two weeks. He also offered a few other suggestions. The inserts I got from the office gave me results. My feet aren't as sore and tender after being on my feet all day. Same in the morning. He recommended custom orthotics, but wanted me to check with my insurance provider first since they aren't cheap. I like this office and feel like my feet are in the right hands. Hate that I waited so long to seek relief. The staff is friendly and there hasn't been any waiting for my appointments. The office also has a bin in the lobby to collect shoes to donate to charities.

He took x-rays and did an ultrasound on my feet, explained about plantar fasciitis, showed me on the ultrasound what was wrong with my foot and explained everything. They made a special pad for my feet to help support my feet while inserts were being made. The inserts were a life saver. Dr. Vogel knows what he is doing, he talks to you (not AT you), his staff is friendly and professional, and best of all, they have variable office hours throughout the week. This was great for my work schedule. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Vogel and I will never go anywhere else.

While recently coming to the surgery center for my husband's procedure, I experienced just that. The staff were attentive to us while my husband waited to go back for his surgery, and they even kept me updated with his progress by text which was very reassuring. I did more damage to my ankle by continuing to drive a manual 5 speed for 4 days. Dr Greenfield was awesome, confident in his efforts to save my now crunched up foot and very informative with on point instructions throughout the process. I think he is by far the best ortho Dr I've encountered. The Anesthesiologist was reassuring and very thorough. The nurses treated me like a queen. I have worked clerically in hospital environment for over 20 years and the gentleman that put on my splint was the best cast technician I've encountered. Overall the Ortho Indy team deserves an A+. I wish I had gone to them for my hip replacement. I won't go anywhere else.

When I requested an appointment on their website, I fully…read moreexpected that it would take awhile to hear back and figured that it might be hard to find an appointment soon too. Nope and nope! They responded to my request the next day and then offered to book me in for the following week. Amazing, considering how popular they are! Once my appointment was booked, I was emailed a form to fill out digitally before arrival. It helped me prep for the appointment and it was nice to get my insurance info squared away before visiting. They also sent reminder texts and emails, and sent me a COVID screening the morning of the appointment (mini online quiz to say if you'd been feeling sick or not). It was all very seamless! When I visited the office, they checked me in right away and I was brought back right at my appointment time. A PA named Kyler came in to assess my knees and she was super awesome and helpful. I was then brought back for knee x-rays and the x-ray women were SO nice too. As soon as I was brought out of the x-ray room, an attendant brought me back to my room and Dr. Shook came in to assess. He delivered good news (yay!) and was so kind and helpful. He communicated very clearly, seemed very patient, and was open to any questions. He printed off exercises for me to do at home and the attendant brought me to check out. All seven or so people that I interacted with were so friendly and sharp. The whole appointment was very efficient and Dr. Shook seemed to know everyone by name. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Dr. Andrew Wohler's team have been incredible. I fell in December and ended up having surgery over…read morespring break. I have a horrible phobia of surgery and he made me feel at east (somehow), which is not an easy feat. His team are kind and actually care. He was the first and only doctor to figure out that my lisfranc was in big trouble. I have EDS and MCAS, which he took in to consideration despite the conditions being somewhat uncommon, and chose the best surgery path for me overall. I couldn't ask for a better doctor or team. Grateful for everything they've done.
