Jeremy J. Hunt M.D. at the Muncie location acted like I was wasting his time during my visit. I had injured my foot and was referred to get evaluated by Indiana Orthopedic Center before I could return to work. After seeing me he was talking to the nurse outside of the room I was in and said, "He paid a $50 copay for this" the nurse then said "he's fine, I think he's trying to get out of work." I went there to get cleared to go back. Very unprofessional, I will drive an extra hour to go somewhere that actually treats you with respect. Dr. Holler, gave me the wrong diagnosis. He told me I had bruised ribs and may have a hair line fracture. He only mentioned I may have a hair line fracture, because I told him I heard it break when I hit the tree. He spent allot of time trying to convince me I didn't know what I heard or how I felt. Dr. Holler should spend more time listening to his patients and reading the X-rays. I continued having breathing problems and pain, so I went to the hospital. This is where I was told I had a badly bruised lung and two broken ribs. He also said I may have pain up to 6 weeks, but only prescribed me seven pain pills. read more

I felt like a $ to them. They tried to sell me a walker crutches and a cane even though I walked in on my own free will. They tossed a knee brace on my swollen knee and by the time I got home it was so swollen I could barely get it off. The next day I asked the provider what I needed the brace for she said I really didn't have to wear it. Confused by this I decided not to go to my next appointment. I did not want to give them any more of my money. The only reason I went there was because I had gone to the emergency room and they suggested I go there for a follow up. In other words the emergency room was trying to cover their butt. I will go somewhere else before I would ever go back to them. read more

I have visited Central IN Orthopedics for knee pain and possible knee surgery. Dr Ryan Cieply was very thorough in answering my questions in an understandable manner. I have also inquired at CIO about stem cell injections as an alternative to surgery. Dr Kerry Bennett enthusiastically answered my questions about that. My daughter managed to dislocate her ankle, or so we thought, but she ended up dislocating her actual foot. We were in the ER for 8 hours and left with it back into place and a temporary split. The next morning CIO has her right into the office and fixing her up. The splint was put on a little wonky so they redone the split to put her foot in the correct position. A few weeks later we switched to a cast. We are almost done with treatment and they have been wonderful during every visit. They have made this entire event a lot easier to handle simply because of their patience and great recommendations. read more

Don't go to CIO if you need an MRI for a severe joint injury. It takes a week to get one and an additional 2 days to have it read. Call around Muncie and neighboring communities and shop around for a competitor for better quality patient care. read more

Super nice people and very good MD's that I've seen. Had an A-1 ligament release surgery. Mid to high on the cost, but you get what you pay for here. I will be going back for knee and hip work. read more
