AVOID!! If you love your pet, please do not go to this facility!!!…read more This was a one and done for my spouse and I. Originally booked over the phone and they booked the wrong dates. We were told pick up time would be 12:30. The day of pick up, we received a text at 9:55 AM stating that we had 5 minutes to get there or we would not get her until the evening. We got there at 10:05 after driving 2 hours and 20 minutes to ensure we'd be there at 12:30. We told them that we had arrived and were told that 12:30 was the pickup time and that we'd like to take her home. They refused to give her to us and told us we would have to come back at 6 PM and they did not apologize for their error and lack of communication regarding the pick up time! The lady who worked the desk didn't say much when I was there but had the nerve to text me 15 minutes after we left with our dog when I was ignored after 5 phone calls and multiple texts. This place lies about feeding your animal. We did a late drop off and early pick up, so I portioned out 4 meals for our dog and they told me they fed her 6 times. She had enough food left for one more feeding, so they skipped a mealtime and told me they fed her an extra 3 times! With what food?! I also signed a contract that we wanted 3 play times a day and they only provided her with 1 playtime a day for 3 days. This place is not trustworthy and we will NEVER board here again.

Thank you for taking great care of our boys. Highly recommend this business for your pet care…read moreneeds. Used them for several years now and have always been satisfied with care of our dogs, price and communication. Thank you again.

Our 5.4 lb maltipoo, Mac came home with poop covered toys, his crate with dry pee in it and. A pee…read moresoaked blanket and poop stuck to his butt. He was so dehydrated he drank so much water when he got home he then threw up and was lethargic. We immediately gave him a bath and applied tick and flea medication we rushed out and bought and let him just rest while my son cried thinking his dog was sick or not going to be okay. He was the opposite of his normal self when we picked him up. Mac is a very happy, healthy, loving, and energetic 1 1/2 year old pup who is full of love and life. This was after we had the worst day traveling back from Florida and were told we had until 8:30 pm to grab him when we got back which we have text messages from her employee stating that and when we arrived to get him no one was onsite and the dogs were just howling and crying. It took numerous texts and calls to finally get some girl and her boyfriend to arrive and give us our Mac. I had done a lot of research and had a 40 min call with Christine months before boarding Mac there and we text daily while gone on our trip. She knew this was our and his first time being away from each other and him being boarded and to get my dog back in this condition and he isn't acting like himself at all is just devastating. I would not recommend ever to anyone at all especially for a tiny pup. 0/10.

Christine Martin is an absolute gem, and has created such a safe, loving, and reassuring…read moreenvironment where we can leave our pup, who is basically our daughter since we do not have children. We have boarded Pokey at Pet Companions Country Inn many times now, for up to a full week at a time, and she has always come home happy, healthy, clean, and well nourished. I can see why she has so many loyal clients, many whom appear to have been bringing their animals to her for well over a decade. Our pup gets many hours of play time each day, as well as her own space and time to rest and retreat to regularly. Christine is such an intuitive person; she appears to own many different types of animals of her own and she can observe and sense which dogs will have good chemistry together in play groups, as well as individual dogs' needs and 'personalities'. The property where the kennel is located is serene and beautiful. I love that it is next to owners' residence, so that somebody is on premises around the clock. The kennels are spacious and safe, with indoor and outdoor runs that Christine and her staff thoughtfully manage. The pickup/dropoff hours are absolutely worth managing your own trip schedules around. Other pet boarding places might have superficial bells and whistles that take resources and focus away from what really matters: a safe second home for your pup. I would not think of boarding my dog anywhere else. Thank you to Christine and your wonderful staff for everything.

I remember how easy it was to welcome Buddy to my home. This frightened, uncertain senior Chihuahua…read moretook some time to trust me, but he always made me smile with his sweet little face. I knew as an older rescue, Buddy would not be with me as long as most of my fur family members, but he soon settled into a farm life with a "I will try" attitude. However, he drew the line at chickens. During the last few months, I monitored him with a scale recommended by an understanding and knowledgeable Frankfort Animal Clinic (FAC) office staff member. The leaving time for a friend is not easy at all. After a few false starts, I accepted what I had to do and made an appointment with Dr. Morgan. She handled the situation with kindness, understanding, and professionalism assisted by Rudy. Dr. Morgan explained about a sedative-for Buddy, not me- and I appreciated that greatly. All the paperwork/business end was completed in the privacy of an exam room. I appreciated that so very much; I hate to cry in public. The office staff member (I did not ask your name-I am sorry) came to me and dealt with the paperwork. She even brought me the RX's I had ordered for another fur friend. Rudy explained I could go outside, and she would bring Buddy to my car. The FAC staff probably see this scenario weekly, but this very difficult situation was new for me; I appreciated their professional care and their gentleness in dealing with Buddy and me. He was a good friend, and I shall miss him. Fran Bradshaw

We've only visit the Frankfork Animal Clinic when our own vet is unavailable or it's an emergency…read more In two cases, our dogs were at end of life and we didn't want them to suffer. Dr. Wade King was just going to euthanize them without a sedative that would alleviate their fear (our Springer was violently shaking!). Another time, Dr. King examined our15-year-old Cavalier King Charles spaniel. He was bonded to our 16-year-old English Springer Spaniel, whom we had to put down three weeks earlier. Dr. King said that our Cavy's bloodworks were fine. He said that we can pay $1,000 of dollars for him to do exploratory surgery ... on a 15-year-old dog!! We told him absolutely not. Again, he was just going to euthanize him, but we demanded he give him a sedative. After our little guy was dead, Dr. King touched his eye in front of us to see if was dead. In all the time we saw Dr. King, not once did he ever touch or talk to our dogs. He doesn't appear to like animals. He like the money. He just got the job done. Two weeks ago, out vet was closed so we had to take our mixed breed 13-year-old girl to have her severe diarhhea treated. Our vet would normally treat her with an anti-diarrhea drug. Dr. King, however, would not treat the diarrhea until he performed a $250! blood test. The blood test, not came back normal. So he gave us the drug to stop the diarrhea. All said and done, we paid more than $300 to stop her diarrhea. We know person who said that Dr. King is not qualified to be a gardener. I wouldn't want him touch my plants. Find someone else. Someone who cares about you and your pet. Who you and your pet as something more than a money maker.
