I needed some locksmith work done. I called Central Lock and Key and they said they would be at my home later that day but would call first. No phone call and when we went out later there was their card in the door. We were expecting them and were in the house but none of us - not even the dog heard the (soft knock) Nobody rang the doorbell. I phoned and they said they would be out the next day. Nobody showed up. I called again and they said they were too busy but would phone me tomorrow. That was a week ago. Not impressed. read more

I can't say enough about the friendly, professional staff at central Lock + Key. They turned a negative experience into a positive one! We managed to lose our keys with the car locked in the driveway and were told we would have to tow the car to the dealer to get new keys made, then Central Lock + Key came to the rescue. They came to the house and in no time cut new keys at a price much better than the dealership. There was an issue with ordering the correct keys, Paul the owner made a trip downtown to pick up the keys, so we wouldn't have to wait, the same day Cody the technician arrived and in no time, we were back on the road! I hope I don't get locked out again, but if I do they will be the first company I call. I will not hesitate to refer them to any of my friends. I called to get a front door lock replaced Told them what set I wanted and asked if I should pick up They told me they would match the Home Depot price He arrived at my house n wanted to charge me $80 over price I could buy elsewhere the informed me it would again cost more then agreed upon to install lock added expenses He was told to go away n still had to give him $30 for a service call that I was not aware of I asked many questions to him not wanting to go over budget n waste his time or mine n was totally disappointed in his manner n the pushy way he did his business I defiantly would not recommend them at all read more
