I called and asked to speak to someone who spoke English and at first I was told no English and after dealing with my broken, translated Spanish they started to speak English to me. Do not let this scare you off. Indeed someone in house speaks English and will be able to help you. Sundays they have menudo. Beautifully menudo with no hominy. The tripe is tender, soft and almost melts in your mouth. The broth is bright red, flavorful and almost no grease feel. If you eat menudo on a regular basis, then you understand this. The ladies who cook this menudo definitely put a labor of love into this dish to be able to have it be as delectable as it is. The pupupas are made fresh and hot to order. They are small and perfect with a perfect ratio of masa to filling. If you sit and eat your food there, you have plenty of salsas and crema and curtido to go along with your pupusas. Your menudo is served piping hot in a big bowl. A BIG BOWL. Menudo lovers will rejoice. I haven't tried their tacos or anything else because their menudo and pupusas are just so good. I dated a hispanic from Mexico so I know good Mexican food, and this isn't it. It's edible and that's about it. The salsa and chips were fine. The horchata I got was ok. I noticed that they drastically reduced the candy store area. It was only as big as a large closet and not many choices. That's a shame. This is what made this restaurant unique. This place is ok food at an ok price. See you in another 4 years (even though I live 1 mile away). Lol When I paid in cash, the waitress shorted me the change. It was only 33 cents, but that's not cool. I pointed out that I noticed and took it out of her tip.
