If you come into Manilla the drive is about 1 1/2 hour from the airport with a little traffic. The hotel is located right next to walking street, about a 2 minute walk. The hotel seems like it was renovated a bit especially the pool area. Check-in process was simple and pretty simple. The wifi PW is on the key card and wifi is free of charge. The rooms are pretty clean and decent size. Showers are a nice size and have a faucet below, above, and a waterfall. There is a rooftop bar, restaurant and pool Very lively at night time This hotel is guest friendly and will call you prior to any guest leaving to let them out. So far the staff has been very accommodating and nice. Only small issue I've had is asking for more towels ... it was 2am so I kind of get it but they forgot and I had to call twice to get them Other than that top notch (:

It was nearing the end if our week long vacay and we wanted a couple days to wind down from all the site seeing and island hopping we've done. Hubby got us a room at the Central Park Tower because of the rooftop infinity pool. When we entered our 8th floor room, I was excited to see the balcony. What a HUGE disappointment to see the view blocked by the framework of another hotel. Fortunately, when we requested to be moved, they were able to give us another room on the same floor. Our room was spacious, nicely decorated, bed was comfy and the bathroom was spacious with a jacuzzi bathtub and a ceiling shower head. The walls of our room needed better insulation because we could still hear the bad karaoke singers and thumpin music from the clubs at night; however, it is quiet during the day. One great benefit is that you can call room service to schedule an in room massage. The rooftop infinity pool gets cleaned every morning and they finish around 9:30 am. They have cabanas that you can rent. Next to the pool area Is their lovely rooftop restaurant that's open 24/7, and in the lobby, there's a coffee shop. Hotel and restaurant (coffee shop in lobby and restaurant on rooftop) staff run hot and cold: some are lovely and warm, while others are cold as ice. Service, however, is prompt. Before you can check out, housekeeping need to check the room. We had a decent stay here.

Had business dinner here, restaurant on the roof top is very chic, the pool and tables around it make it very appealing. Good and prompt service, the best so far in Clark. Had a ribeye steak (good size, not what would you expect in a steak house). Came with mash potatoes and salad.

WaterCamp Resort - The adult slides (fun, but don't expect too much from it ha)

We had our (una at) huling hirit sa tag-init at WaterCamp Resort in Kawit, Cavite. The place was okay, it was a big waterpark (I like saying that word because it reminds me of the movie Grown Ups) with adult and kiddie pools with slides, and a wave pool. The shower rooms were clean and relatively well-maintained considering there are a lot of people coming there. Guests can choose to stay in tables or cabanas according to their budget and there are several areas for grilling, so families can definitely bring their baon, or order from the restaurant inside (which I wasn't able to try, unfortunately). I liked that the place is very family-friendly; it's ok to swim in t-shirt and shorts (as long as there's no metal) and they're very strict about prohibiting alcoholic drinks in the vicinity. I had a slight issue about breastfeeding my four-month old baby in the cabana, but I'm pretty much used to nursing in public by now. The entrance fee was reasonable (240 for adults, 210 for kids) for the place is big with lots of amenities. My daughter had the BEST time swimming there. She just swam and swam until she was too tired and fell asleep. She was so happy that I think an hour drive going to the place is absolutely worth it.

It is tucked in the beautiful province of Nueva Ecija in the Philippines and presented itself as an amazing place to commune with nature while enjoying a pleasurable luxurious "high-end" stay. Check-In: Check-In was a breeze, having the bookings made online while we were still in the US, confirmations were emailed and all we have to present when we arrived, the young lady at the reception was quite lovely and cheerful, she was very thorough explaining to us all that is included with our stay and also informed us of the breakfast hours and gave us our breakfast stubs, she also booked our spa/massage schedule as well as our activities for the days we're staying at the resort, Impressive front desk service! The Resort: A beautiful Balinese Inspired Resort surrounded by dense forest, a perfect place for some good R&R, lovely architecture and landscaping with beautifully laid out Suites and Rooms catered to your liking and budget, the place advertise itself as a high-end resort so make sure to save as even the junior suites could cost you + food cost & beverages (Breakfast is inclusive). The Resort boast a beautiful view of Pantabangan Lake and also a lush forest. The main reception lobby is nicely adorned with Bali inspired pieces from ceiling to floor. Beautiful cobblestone serves as your pathway as the bellhop takes you in his golf cart to take you to your suite while greeted by a well manicured vegetation and a clean spacious grounds which provide a peaceful and charming instagrammable welcome to your stay. They have (2) Swimming pools, one is literally just a few steps away from our suite and a lovely infinity pool located near Soraya Restaurant (which is the only restaurant in the premise - I have a separate review for the restaurant) They have a gym and a huge banquet hall/ballroom for special gatherings. The Room: We stayed at one of their Executive Suites which provided a comfy, spacious living space for us for 3 days and 2 nights. High ceilings with living room, work space, fridge, mini-bar, a king size bed, a beautiful bathroom with a modern tub and a balcony overlooking the lake and forest which is a wonderful place to chill in the morning with its beautiful and spectacular views; nature's splendor and the calming sound of the birds. So here are the CONS: On our 2nd day, we have requested to have our room cleaned while we were out ATV'ing and kayaking, however, the room never got cleaned, this was requested to the front desk when we checked-in. Trying to call the front desk leads you to nowhere as there is no reference # on the phone in the room. All the while, we saw several employees just outside our sliding glass door (in white tops and black pants) giggling and starstrucked with their cellphone cameras on, apparently a celebrity senator and his family was staying right next to us. I do not mind them being excited or wanting to hopefully have a selfie with a celebrity but they are seriously congregated in front of our suite therefore disturbing our stay. We booked the place with peace, quiet and privacy in mind not to mention paid good money for some peace and relaxation, but it seems the employees weren't properly briefed on proper hotel etiquette. The disregarded request to clean our room was a big let down to their service and what seems to be a lack of respect to their guests privacy. Also on our last day, the AC went bonkers spewing water in our room and on the flat screen TV, their service techs went in our room after we have reported it, which again imposed in our stay all the way to early noon just before the posted check out time, we cannot shower nor finish our packing, one of their employees gave us the extension # to call the front desk to request a late check out, the lady who answered our call was almost hesitant to extend the checkout time having mentioned why we needed our checkout extended, she initially gave us 30 mins!!! seriously??? I have stayed at the Ritz and Four Seasons and at the minimum they will give you an hour or longer especially for a shitty situation not of our own doing, needless to say, I was infuriated and in disbelief which I HAVE NO PROBLEM EXPRESSING, they did extend our checkout for a ludicrous 1hour in the end - BS. Highland Bali has tons of potential to be a real nice destination, the location and architecture are already there but if they want to keep their "High-End" Resort image, they better improve their SERVICE in some department, have QUALITY & BETTER tasting lunch & dinner menu, it's seriously beyond mediocre, REVIEW and UPDATE their "High End" operations policy as employees seem to lack basic HRM knowledge & etiquette, otherwise, it's just another sleazebag hotel hiding behind a lovely facade. There are so many good things going for them but the bad service is just hard to ignore.

You would not think this didn't go anywhere! We actually tried booking through Airbnb but they only limit it to sixteen people; or I think Airbnb's requirement. The representative told us to communicate through Facebook instead as we needed a big group reservations for 30 as their description on Airbnb stated they can accommodate up to 30 people! Easy reservations with them via phone and the best place to go so far since visiting the main island! The resort has their own farm of fruits and veggies so everything is fresh and depends on the season; they can only make certain meals during the season. Food is pretty decent. We reserved the villa for our stay called - 'Sta. Teresita Villa' where it has its own private infinity pool. The villa has its own kitchen, two and half bathrooms and two bedrooms. It has great views! It was so awesome! We all didn't want to leave!! We also rented additional rooms that had outdoor jacuzzi's. You can order set meals for 5 or 10 or ala carte. Just to let you know, if you are used to American portions, you may have to order more than average. They have fresh buko drinks, too. They plan to add a zip lines in the resort. I can't wait! Tips to remember: - Weather is still very warm here so don't over dress. OK, I mean HOT and humid! - Bring bug spray especially during rainy season. Bugs are huge here!! Bring slippers! - pools have overhead covers so even if rained on, you can still swim. Bring waterproof camera bags. - No wifi except in the lobby. Free wifi. 3G goes on and off within the resort so good luck! No use coming here if you are working! - It's easy to use Waze to get here but leaving, make sure to start the Waze while using the wifi in the lobby or it won't turn on till a few km's out! Remember how you got there. - They do accept credit cards. - Bring snacks or drinks as their snack bar is limited. - Make sure to explore the resort, their crops and their pet snakes! - They do have a few blackouts. - Wake up before sunset to check out the lake and mountain views! Bring your good cameras! Also, love the weather in the morning! For my 650th review, I am dedicating it to Noni's Resort! Staff were very accommodating and super friendly for our big group! Prices were pretty good for our staff and what was offered. I will definitely recommend anyone to check them out and stay for a quick weekend getaway! You won't regret it! [69/100]
