I got there and they told me they didnt want the reward i was offering. 2days later the lady employee that works the register showed up to my business claiming the reward. Talked to management guy named manny. "Douchebag" told me to send em the video and messages of her taking the money. So i did. Reqched out to manny and claimed she didnt take my money that her husband admitted to takin the money witout her knowing when i clearly sent a video of her taking my money. . We have been taking our large dog here for years and love it. They have an easy check-in process, they have multiple options for kennel sizes including a small suite with a TV for a large group of pets that prefer tha"sense of home". Some of their options have outside dog runs attached so your dog can go outside whenever it wants... It's great! This location has webcams so you can look in on your pet while on vacation which is nice for nervous parents. In addition, they can make arrangements for other types of pets so they can serve many pet needs. Inquire about optional training packages from rattlesnake avoidance to traditional behavioral training. If you need a trusted trainer/advisor, I'd recommend you ask for Jill. In all of out years, we have yet to experience an issue at this location---I highly recommend them! read more

This place is HORRIBLE! I have used the Central Pet in Tucson and was impressed with the people and the facility. So, when the Tucson one was unavailable, I thought I would have the same standard of care at the Amado Central Pet. NOPE!!! First off, the facility is old and dirty and dingy. If I hadn't been under a time constraint, I would NEVER have left my dog there! Second, the hours are different. They don't tell you this or point it out. They close 1 Hour EARLIER than the Tucson. Not realizing this...STUPIDLY THINKING SAME COMPANY, SAME HOURS...when they called and said they closed at 6 pm, being halfway down to Amado, I FLOORED the car and raced to get there. Then, knowing I wasn't going to make it by exactly 6 pm, I called and offered to give them my credit card number over the phone, telling them I would be there NO LATER THAN 6:05 PM. They said "NO, they close at six!" I got there at 6:03 PM and the gate was locked! But there were people walking around. THREE MINUTES!!!!! It's not like I was an hour late! We are talking three minutes!!!! So now I pay another night's kennel fee, who knows IF they will feed my dog! I will NEVER bring my dog to THIS facility again! read more

I brought my dog here for basic training. Jill did a fabulous job. She is so enthusiastic, knowledgeable and patient for those dogs who are still learning how to behave. The staff that I dealt with while there were all friendly and helpful. Then last week, I did rattlesnake avoidance training, also with Jill. This seems like it worked very well, as my dog would run the other way when he picked up the scent, after her training. While I wasn't crazy about the shock collar, it's better than a snake bite, right? I think one of the hardest things about being involved with pets is dealing with their owners. Jill and everyone else there seem to be great at dealing with both. read more

We are in an RV and having Central Pet next door improved out vacation enormously. Multiple locking gates and fences increase safety, every member of the staff was friendly and helpful. The walk-in day care was wonderful and my elderly Airedale came home happy and healthy. We also boarded overnight and that worked out well. The fact that they offered to take me through the entire facility to look at options says a lot about their confidence in cleanliness in all areas. Kennel areas were well designed. We have used Central Pet for years now and continue to be impressed with the skills, knowledge and professionalism of their staff. Jill did an amazing job with Winston when we was in "rehab"...a wild child went in and a gentleman came out!! We routinely use the facility for boarding for as long as six weeks one time, and Winston is eager to get to "camp" and very happy while there. The staff understand Winston's "quirks", as well as ours, so there is a high level of confidence in their ability to make the experience a good one! read more

After numerous attempts and emails to the owner with no response it is obvious that they don't care about the actions of their staff.

I'm being generous giving them two stars. Grooming wasn't that great and the groomer didn't seem to be the least bit warm or fuzzy with my dog. Today, the grooming took four hours -- not acceptable since my dog is stressed the entire time she is there. It should only take two hours. They did not tell me it was going to take this long. I wonder how fast and how hurried/harried the groomer is when she is this overbooked! And, what kind of a job she is doing under that kind of pressure. AND, they charge $50.00 -- too much. Will look for someone else in the area. read more

I bring my dog here for day care. Minus 1 for their camera. It doesn't work sometimes and I like checking up on dog. Besides that associates are very friendly. The place is very spacious and clean. read more

We've been going to Central Pet for about four years. The turnover in the grooming department is disturbing. One never knows what type of result to expect so it's important to not only go over ones expectations with the groomer ahead of time but to also leave notes. This is the second time we've had a problem in three visits. The time before last our pup was scalped behind his ear and he bled. I found it once I got home as it was not disclosed when I picked him up. When I confronted Central Pet they gave us a free "next" grooming so we gave them another chance. I feel this last time the intention for our grooming was breached. We left our pup and entrusted Central Pet for a clear purpose; to groom our pet according to our directions. I clearly covered every line item on my typed notes prior to leaving our pup at the store, and at least three items were wrong. The one I'm most upset about is the fact the groomer cut off my pups two-inch long eyelashes he'd been growing since he was a puppy; he is now five and a half. This is after I VERY specifically told her to leave them alone; NO eyelashes and NO anal glands. Do not touch them! Our pups eyelashes were his unique markings and identification. His eyelashes also keep debris out of his eyes. No other groomer at Central Pet misunderstood that line item in the past, and it very well should be in our file at the store. I highly do NOT recommend this store for grooming for these reasons. I'm livid and heartbroken about this mistake. I'd like to add that if Delaney, the previous manager, and Ashanta, the previous groomer, were at the store, the rating would have been much higher. read more
