Book-ended by Home Goods/Modell's and DSW, there's a decent amount of stores to shop from depending on your tastes. The plaza is anchored by a weak Kmart. There used to be a supermarket here, but it was replaced by DSW and Pet Smart. The main eatery is Applebee's, but there is a Chipotle and Bagel Oven also around. Five Below, Gamestop, and Pier 1 are among some of the other businesses here. Parking is pretty decent and even during a busy time, I've never had any issues finding a spot. If you're one of those who feel compelled to park as close to the stores as possible, then you might be searching for a while. There are a few different entrances/exits into this plaza as well. What more can I type about the name of a shopping center other than compared to some others in the area, it's not bad, it's structured well, and has some decent to good shopping options.

The parking lot is big- but during Holidays and weekends, this place is just tight. Parking spaces here are the typical 8-maybe 9'- whereas Trader Joe's' spaces are bigger than that. Just saying. Dalewood Shopping Plaza doesn't have everything under the sun but with the few basics: eateries, a supermarket, a beauty supply, etc- it'll do.

I wandered over to the new supermarket that took over space where dagostino was. Expensive. They weren't busy. So I looked around for two items that I haven't been able to find at my local store. Nope, I guess they are not making it still. Store was clean. And their pre hot meals aren't bad. I thought it was one portion and it was still too much for me. I would go there again if he makes me do another streets test.

Bank. Across the street there's Citibank, Paper Source, Ann Taylor - Loft, Chico's, The Fresh Market, Trader Joe's...am I forgetting anyone? I know I am, because there are so many other stores and small businesses all in this one area to work with. Parking is easy to find in the ginormous free outdoor parking lot. I suggest parking away from the fray and then just walk to where you need to go and walk across the street to the other spots. Much easier that way. Carvel ice cream and a deli. Home goods and dsw are there too. Some stores have closed models and pier one. As well as the pet store that was there. Leaping lizards use to be there too. There is a lot of parking. Jembro and staples are in the back area along with a store that sells appliances "Tripoli." Rumor has it that a target or Walmart is coming here. And jembro is moving to front. I can't wait to find out which one.

For example, there is an entire storefront devoted to claw machines. There is another store called "mystery bins" that has a random assortment of items that kind of look like they fell off a truck. There is a rope obstacle course for kids on the upper floors of the mall. Cool concept, but a little off putting that things could fall from above on to shoppers on the lower levels. Overall, it's a decent mall, but it has lost some of its luster over the years.

After the JCpenny and Lord & Taylor closed down, this place has only gone downhill. Second, its dirty as hell. Saw dead cockroaches in the food court and weird stains all around. This place doesn't get the care it needs anymore. Third, the mall is extremely close to dying. Don't get me wrong; this mall is very popular, but every time I visit it has less and less people visiting. I find this extremely sad to see, especially since I used to love going here with my dad, this mall has slowly been rotting due to neglect by the owners and is now destined to be demolished or completely renovated. I hope it can one day come back, but now I've lost hope for it at all.

Stamford town center isn't just a mall for me it's where I grew up and spent most of my childhood…read moreso it holds a special place in my heart, I find myself always coming here to hang out with friends, shop, or just to get some food. This mall has options for all ages weather it be entertainment, shops, or events they always have something for you to do. They've been coming in with new food and entertainment spots and it's definitely been making me come here more than I would. Overall great mall staff are friendly and helpful and store owners are super nice and welcoming.

There's a KFC and while it's the fanciest one I've seen thus far, the flavor isn't as good as other KFC's for some reason.
