An embarrassing big for nothing mall. Perhaps im spoiled and live minutes from Danbury fair which is a million times better. Confusing and difficult to navigate. There's a bunch of empty areas which is also the sign of malls in general dying out. The stores are all counterfeit merchandise minus Macy's, the last remaining Charlotte Russe and Nathan's in the food court. There is also a lot of kids play places including the roller rink that was also disappointing. If my sister and her kids visited Connecticut, id rate this a three. For an area thats 20 minutes from new york and norwalk you'd think stamford would put up some competition. read more

Stamford town center isn't just a mall for me it's where I grew up and spent most of my childhood so it holds a special place in my heart, I find myself always coming here to hang out with friends, shop, or just to get some food. This mall has options for all ages weather it be entertainment, shops, or events they always have something for you to do. They've been coming in with new food and entertainment spots and it's definitely been making me come here more than I would. Overall great mall staff are friendly and helpful and store owners are super nice and welcoming. read more

Nice to know I only have to surrender my personal info once to pay to park at this shopping facility. I don't need it to be free, but my personal info is more valuable to me, than a couple of bucks, to walk around for thirty minutes to shop, eat, or perhaps be otherwise entertained. It's important that Stamford Town Center, employ a method that is convenient and efficient for them. Without many shoppers, they need to cut their costs as much as possible, and surrender a potential competitive advantage over the two neighboring malls. read more

This mall was lacking alot last year. This year they put more activity for kids. This new place open about last month called angel land is so much better then the old place they had in the mall. My daughter had an amazing time. read more

This mall is a very average mall you can find anywhere. However, this is the only mall in downtown Stamford, so it is one of those cases where something is better than nothing. The mall is not that big but does have a decent selection of stores (Barnes and Noble, Banana Republic, Foot Locker, Victoria's Secret, etc.). The food court offers your standard fast food options like Sbarro and Subway. There is also a dine-in steakhouse (the Capital Grille) if you are looking for something a little fancier. Overall, it is definitely an older mall, but the place is clean. Stamford is not really a place that is popular enough to draw a new, fancy mall. read more

I used to live in Stamford and recently paid this mall a visit. They've made quite a few improvements, with what seems like a small renovation at the food court, more activities/events hosted at the mall, and also more dining options (Nan Xiang Xiao Long Bao coming soon, bubble tea, what!). Last time I came to this mall was in the summer of 2019, and wow a lot of stores have left! The Apple Store, Forever 21, Sephora, they all left during the pandemic, and you can now find those stores at the new SONO Collection mall a few exits away in Norwalk. Back in 2019, there were a variety of stores and restaurants to choose from and it was so much busier than it is in 2024. California Pizza Kitchen, Sbarros, even Carvel closed here. Food court is ok, a few non brand fast food restaurants, nothing particularly fancy. Subway is here at least‍ Both anchor stores like Macys and Barnes and Nobles are still here thankfully, and I do see a lot of people at these stores shopping, but unsure if and when both will close as well. They seem like they won't close anytime soon. My prediction is that if both Macys and Barnes and Nobles shut their doors as anchor tenants of the mall, the whole mall will definitely close down as a whole, exact thing happened to the Galleria Mall in White Plains! Usually the smaller tenants can't survive without the foot traffic from the anchor tenants, so that can definitely impact this mall as it's already starting to show emptiness. This mall definitely needs Macys and Barnes and Nobles open to stay afloat or else it will close like the Galleria. Sad times we're living in. There are a few malls I would recommend nearby such as the Sono Collection, the Mall at Bay Plaza in Co-Op City Bronx, and The Westchester Mall in White Plains, they have the Apple Store and high end stores you want and need. We will see how much longer this mall will stay open for, but in the meantime definitely check out this mall and see what has changed, you'll be surprised like I was! read more

The end seems near for this mall. Half the retail space is vacant and the Macy's is a mess, with no employees, broken escalators, messy displays, and no customers. The mall's only redeeming quality is its decent food court. read more

A shopping mall in downtown Stamford. Eclectic collection of stores - you can buy your Michael Korrs purse. And then go get a knock off at Payless Shoes. Parking seems to be on the honor system. I paid $1 for 2 hours of parking. But I didn't have to put my receipt on my dash, nor did I have to show my payment receipt to enter or exit the building. There seemed to be a lot of people just loitering around and homeless people sleeping. I was there mid afternoon, just after lunch. Which kinda creeped me out read more

I needed socks really badly. I stopped into the vintage museum (my first time) where they had BAPE SOCKS. I WENT CRAZY. I bought 4 pairs and they gave me a pair for free! so a nice truly incredible experience, we never found cool stuff like that when I was a kid, especially for such a good deal. I haaaate malls and avoid them as much as possible. Crowds give me anxiety. I hate navigating around hordes of people who block entire walkways with their groups, and people who just randomly stop in their paths. Gah. I ended up at Stamford Town Center to kill some time and keep my 10 month old son entertained. My mission was to get him to the kiddie play area on the 7th floor. The play area is very nice. No shoes (yay!) so it's about as clean as one could expect. The carpet was nice and colorful with a water/nature theme (water, lily pads, leaves, logs, fish). My son kept touching the bright orange areas (leaves). I love that EVERY vertical inch is padded! There are climbing things in a variety of heights. Everything is in great condition EXCEPT the green frog, whose paint is peeling. I removed a big sheet from the ground before my son got ahold of it. Parents and kids were friendly, striking up conversation. After a while, some of the older kids got a little wild, and almost mowed my son and I down. So, if you have little crawlers, make sure you feel it out/stay close! I enjoyed the play area and he did, too. Despite my personal issues with malls/anxiety/crowds, Stamford Town Center itself is quite impressive. You can find anything you need here. It also wasn't a clusterf-of an experience, EXCEPT for the elevator door closing right on me. (Aren't these damned things supposed to pop back open?!) I don't like malls, but this one is pretty cool... don't mind driving up to Stamford to walk around in this one, instead of the ones I usually goto in Trumbull and Milford. The got a Apple store here which makes it even better! read more

This place is just sad to visit, went here and there were people sleeping inside on the chairs and steps. And if you're late to your meter by a few minutes you get a $25 ticket! This is a very beautiful mall. I went to get a brow threading, which after the 50% off their website was only $5. Quite an excellent price for a pretty extensive service. Afterwards, walked around to a bunch of stores. It's all very nice but with Amazon and online shopping, it really doesn't make any sense to buy stuff at these stores unless they price match. read more

The mall is dark and outdated. Has a very sad feeling when you're walking around especially with a lot of stores being closed. I do appreciate a mall nearby that is conveniently located though. They have some of my favorite stores there which is a plus. You can't go to the movie theatre's right now but that was my favorite feature of the mall! read more

Stopped by the town center today as a way of getting out of the hot July sun and into some nice cold air conditioning for a bit. Great shopping with plenty to eat and drink. Not only is the architecture very pleasing on the outside this large open and airy roof makes the whole indoor experience that much more pleasant. read more

Beautiful big shopping center in CT. It is one large space with many buildings connected to each other across the street. Many interesting shops here, with many restaurants and a cinema. Nice decor inside and friendly staff. Convenient to come, transportations are not so far, or by car with the paid parking. Love to come to shop here. read more

Coming here was a breeze. Didn't mind the trip from White Plains and finally cutting ties with Galleria's ratchetness. It's located in the downtown area of Stamford, away from I-95 and surrounded by shops and eateries. The Mall's landscape is very simple--- at least to me it is. It's definitely average for mall standards, with a decent look that stands out from others. Felt relieved coming here. Stamford Mall has a little of both worlds: it has the quality of The Westchester's high-end, designer shops (without the snootiness) with The Galleria's affordable shops (minus the sketchiness). It blends big shopping options, from Michael Kors, White House/Black Market to H & M. In terms of grabbing a quick nosh, California Pizza Kitchen and Ichiban Teriyaki House, were some dining options to choose from, as well as Gusnova Gelato, and tempted me every second I was there shopping. Stamford Mall, quickly became an adventure and one of the prime shopping points for me. Wouldn't mind returning at all. read more

Nice but small mall. Plenty of parking indoors. It is paid parking but it's pretty cheap. Up to two hours is only $1. You need to remember your space number and then you pay thru a kiosk located by the entrances into the mall. Not sure if it took cash but definitely credit card. The mall it self is not too big but it has some good stores. The food court here is on the top level. read more

I work right across the street from this mall, so often times when I take a break I walk over to the mall for some fresh air and to peruse. Attached to the mall is Plan B burger, Cosi, Kona Grill, P.F. Changs, Mitchell's Fish Market and Capitale Grill, California Pizza Kitchen, which are a nice alternative to the food court. Speaking of the food court, it's probably one of the smallest ones I have ever seen, and for the size of the mall, it is insufficient. Subway, Great Wraps, Charley's Subs, Ichiban Teriyaki, Chicken Now. (Chicken Now is pretty tasty.) The stores are pretty standard, with a mix of lower, middle and higher end stores. Most are in the moderate price range. The sad thing about this place is most stores are staffed by 1 or 2 people only. The sadder thing is that is either 100% or 50% of the people in the store pretty much 100% of the time. Does this place ever really get filled up? Not really, but you do notice a sizable difference in the summer, but even then you can pretty much shop in peace. FYI if you love starbucks there's two, one in the center of the mall and 1 on the second floor of the Barnes and Noble. B&N one usually has no line. If you hate filling out surveys try to not walk past the survey people, because they will follow you. Unlike in more populated malls, they can turn their attention to others, but in Stamford Town Center, they feel the need to trap you. So be forewarned! read more

The Stamford Town Center is what Lee likes to call, your typical "Marble Shopping Palace." It's an indoor mall located in the downtown area of Stamford, CT. It's pretty small and cramped feeling compared to other indoor malls I've been in, but of course that has a lot to do with the location. It is mostly centered around a central atrium, and is a bit of a maze to get around. Parking is all garage based, with entrance on Greyrock for self-parking, and Tresser for valet parking. It's anchored by Macy's, Sak's Off Fifth, Barnes and Noble, and H&M. It has all the mall stores you'd expect, with a few upscale places. There's a food court with a few options (Panda Express, Sbarro and so on) and there are several sit-down restaurants, mostly chains (California Pizza Kitchen, Cheesecake Factory.) Stamford Town Center can be best described as a below par mall with an annoyingly unique layout. All the standard stores are there over five floors that vary in confusing size and shape. A few stores are one step beyond closing as low lighting, filthy floors, and disheveled shelves are noticed. The Fye music / video store is a true dark mess. The one exception is the duel level comfortably spacious Barnes & Noble Bookstore. Food court is standard fast food while restaurant options are nearby outside the mall. As for parking issues mentioned in other reviews - we visited on a Sunday and parking was free. Easy access off of I95 however Stamford Town Center is not worth the drive from Westchester. read more

Went to lunch at the cheesecake factory - and there was one sign posting parking for 6 $ and another sign to pay at the mall entrance. Not a word that one has to PREPAY the parking, which is the opposite practice to the other major mall in the area (Westhecter mall). Paid at the mall after lunch and there on the car windhield was a $25 ticket. Appealed the ticket on line with photos and checked off the box indicating the signs were inaccurate and sent pictures of them . Do people in the Connecticut know how to spell PREPAID or PREPAY, or even PAY UPON ENTERING. I guess not? the appeal was denied and I will never return to that crooked place.
