Golds Gym.. Have you seen your highlight reel of actual bodybuilders, what Golds is famous for, working out? They carry a duffle. This gym is expensive and the equipment has not been updated since the 80's. Location is great, gym is not. If you swim or do cardio and live within 5 miles, great gym.

There's an outdoor pool right across from the gym too. You must wear a mask pretty much at all times, but I didn't mind that. Safety first! The gym staff are very friendly as well. One thing of note as that you cannot bring weights into aerobics room or upstairs to track/ab work area. They have a sign noting that but I had missed it when going upstairs. Overall I highly recommend!

The weight room is combined with the cardio room, which is not a great layout idea, but I can't complain to much about it. The machines are all brand new and well organized. Bring your own lock for the lockers. The saunas are always nice and clean. The staff is extremely helpful, and will even give you a tour of the facilities, if you're new. One warning: never come during peak PT hours. Between 12-4 on weekdays and anytime of weekends are the best times to come. All other times will be inundated by trainees. Get some!

One thing I loved was how motivating the coaches were, how they focus on one on one interaction, and most importantly push you to your limits, in all that you're capable of. This gym will be more than just your gym, they will become family, they will push you to be better and work harder. I miss Tejasfit every single day and have yet to find a gym like it. Womens isnt, during the weekdays from 8am-12pm it's not very busy. They also have 24/7 access to both service members and dependents. You just have to talk to the front desk to get yourself a key.

Lots of free weights. That machine that allows you to do pull ups even if your too weak at the moment, by taking off some of the weight for you. Only issue is not much floor space for calisthenics. I was getting ready to sit down on the small seat to do some chest presses. Well, I slid right off the seat onto the floor. Geez, I was embarrassed. My jock act has been blown. Anyway, no one came over to help me up or even ask how I was. Hell, they turned away. I had to go through my dying cockroach act to get up. There were three buff guys in my area. Oh well. Not hurt, just super embarrassed. I'll have to get some shorts with rubber backs so I don't slide. Ha, ha.
