I had a HUGE party to plan and Archille and her team were so patient with me as I navigated all of the logistics. I am so appreciative of her willingness to communicate with me continuously over the course of the past two months and work with me on my last-minute changes. Having never used their services, I was concerned about the quality of the rentals, particularly considering the size of my event, but, when I saw how they delivered the equipment, I knew I had nothing to worry about. Everything was delivered in a professional manner and the condition of all of the items exceeded my expectations. The linens were hung on hangers and protected with covers as if they came straight from the cleaners, the tables were all in fine condition, and the chairs were clean and neatly stacked. Don't let this place fool you they do not have anything sanitized as far as the tablecloth the lady says that she sends them out 4 cleaning and sanitize when they're stored in the back of the warehouse in the dust and everything else. Come to find out they are overpriced so before you make your party check other party suppliers I give them 0 Stars when I went to pick up the table cloths they were different colors whites so watch out they have good selling pitches if it wasn't for the last minute I wouldn't have never gotten them there.... read more

If I could give 10 stars I would. Archille was so accommodating, I went out of my way to rent from her specifically rather than using someone in Yosemite where my wedding is being held. I'm writing this en route to Yosemite now bc of how impressed I was with her work ethic, attention to detail and professional manner. She worked diligently with me to ensure my vision was complete without me actually having to be there to hand pick items on my own. This is what customer service is all about. After receiving follow up emails & calls she put me at ease knowing she was going to have everything handled & she most certainly did. Planning a wedding is stressful to say the least & having dealt with someone like Archille was a sincere breath of fresh air. To the reviewer below - business is business & why on earth would you not count the items yourself? Mistakes happen, however, I hardly think the business is to blame with YOUR lack of knowing how to count. Personally, I would never sign a contract without counting my rented items. Love this place! I always get great service and they have what im looking for everytime. I've gotten chairs for parties 3 times and its always quick and easy. The first 2 parties it white chairs and this last time I rented the black ones and they looked so elegant. I've used CVPR many of times for parties at my home and have always received excellent service. I just hosted a 40th bday party at my home for over 200 people in June and unfortunately the weather took a turn for that day and I had to totally change what I had reserved with CVPR. Jerry was very helpful and came out to my home, measured my areas & assisted me rearranging my backyard due to weather change with no extra costs. Poor customer service! Left several messages regarding a quote sent to me. I was told the person who created the quote would have to contact me when he's back in the office. Well 6 days later no call. They had the highest quote out of 4 I received however I was welling to take a chance. Glad I found out now how unreliable they are before I used them for the event. We rented 30 chairs and 4 tables , after setting up our party we realized we were only given 25 chairs . We contacted them and advised them . When returning the order they wanted to charge us for the 5 chairs we weren't given . Receptionist treated me like a liar , claiming her and her manager counted them . They did inventory and then said only 2 chairs were missing . So I guess they don't know how to count to 30 . The tables had tape and pieces of table covers stuck to the bottoms . I have given a "1" only because the delivery staff was professional even thru a heated argument with the staff at the office and they were on time. I wish there was a "0" because this experience warrants it. We were putting on a charity event and ordered, tables & punch fountain. Two days before event we found out that the space where we were having the event was not going to be able to provide a backdrop for us as we had planned. I called to add a 12ft high x 16ft wide drape and pole in black. The lady in the office was irritated because they had already "pulled our order". I said, great! She said with attitude, "No, I mean we already pulled it and have it loaded now I have to have this added." I apologized and explained we just found out we needed this. We moved on and were able to add it. On the delivery day: I walked in and said, "it's white, I ordered black.' The delivery leader said, "Oh we don't have 12ft high in black we only have black in 10ft or 8ft." I said, we'll she didn't tell me that because if she did I would have told her no and we would have had to go down to 10ft high.". It also turns out that we miscalculated how high the ceiling is at the lowest point as it had a coffered ceiling. We were not at the space when we had to make this last minute addition and since we never intended to order drape and pole we had never measured. So, ultimately we needed 10ft all along. Clearly, that mistake is on us. Note: the 10ft drape is or course less expensive than the 12ft. So, we intended to pay for the 12ft and use the 10ft. So, the delivery leader called the office to discuss the issue and this is when the nightmare began. The man at the office said, he was going to charge us $130 to bring out the 10ft poles. Note: The 12ft x16ft was $96. and 10x16 would be $80. And we already paid a $50 delivery fee. It's also important to note that their warehouse is 1 mile from our event venue. Clearly this is outrageous since if we could use the 12ft high drapes they still gave me the wrong color. I asked, please bring back the black drapes because I did not order white and while your at it bring 10ft poles. His response, "how do I know you didn't order white?" WHAT THE HELL! Because it was the first thing I said when I walked into the room! Our whole event is black, I don't want white, can't use white and didn't order white. His response, "who ordered the wrong size?". My response, "we did, so both of us made a mistake so let's fix both mistakes at the same time and move on. He continued with is attitude and stance on the situation. After at least 10 minutes of going around and around and hanging up on the situation. I called back and cancelled the drapes. I was not going to pay and outrageous amount as the goal of this charity event is to raise money for our local Tracy charities and spending $130 on top of the $96 for the drapes and $50 delivery fee is not in the best interest of our charities. End result: He said, "well I'm keeping your $96 because we delivered the drapes.". WOW, they sure did deliver the drapes wrong color and all! I really never want to work with this company again if at all possible. read more

I highly recommend Central Valley Party as your one stop shop for any event!! I threw a New Years Eve Party and I had nothing but complements from my guests! Jerry (the owner) pays careful attention to detail and makes suggestions you may not even think of. His company carries EVERYTHING you need for a party, wedding, baby shower, etc. You can tell his rental inventory is well care for, everything is neat, clean and organized. He also stays current with style!! I've used him for many events and he never disappoints!! I've attached pictures of the amazing lighting (see the dance floor and the chandeliers inside the tent), the bar area (where he draped off the workout equipment so it would be out of sight), margarita machine, the photo booth (he set up in my living room), the food table, the tables/chairs and the lighted and blinged out stand up tables, not seen is the sound system (that worked wonderfully) and heater that kept the tent warm!! This is hands down the best rental place in the Valley. The staff is courteous and extremely helpful. I used them for my wedding and they made the day perfect. extremely rude customer service. not willing to work with their customers. simply asked for a 30 minute call prior to their driver showing up to event place. was told could not accommodate and would have to pay an extra $150 delivery fee if after 5pm. it's 2013 which drivers do not have cell phones. previous customer. i will never rent or do i recommend renting from this place again.! read more
