I made a couple of suggestions, but found the best spot when he realized there would be consistent shade under the venue's staircase. I recently purchased the machine where the mix froze in less than 15 minutes - I thought it was too good to be true but it really did freeze in about 12 minutes total which was super helpful. We started up the machine about 15 minutes prior to our party and by the time the guests arrived drinks were ready to be served! We decided to order the frose and it was a huge hit! Super easy to make (we got 5 bottles of rose and added some vodka and that was it). We went through several mixes because everyone loved it so much. We finished a whole batch that serves up to 100+ drinks and we were a party or 35. That says a lot. The cucumber mix was such a huge hit; the consistency of the drinks was so on point. We have hired him 3 times already this year and he didnt disappoint. If you rent from this company, you should prepared to be left hanging. I confirmed via phone with the owner several times that he had a machine available for my party. He said he did and that he just needed to know my flavor preferences. I sent those in and then, two days before my party, I received this single sentence email, "No one canceled so l don't have any machines available to rent to you." No apology, no other explanation. When I called to find out what happened, he was completely unapologetic, rude and could not seem to understand why I was frustrated. I rented a margarita machine from an outfit in Santa Clara. On the day of my party the Santa Clara outfit did not show up. They were scheduled for a morning delivery and at 12:30 (guests arriving at 1:00) I Frantically started looking online for a last minute substitution, literally last minute. I found Rent Margarita and Gonzalo. He had already left Tracy and was heading to San Jose where I needed a machine. He told me if I had called him 30 minutes earlier he could have loaded a machine for me. At that moment I was ready to hear from him that he couldn't help me. He didn't say that. Instead, He figured out how he could help me with what he had on his truck and he told me he would be at my place in 30 minutes. He came with everything I needed and within 20 minutes of his arrival we had margaritas!! I could not thank him enough. He could have easily said no, but that was not his style. Okay, this company is the worst I have EVER worked with. I called 3 days before my event and spoke with a man (sadly I didn't get his name) who assured me he had a machine for my daughters graduation party. All I had to do was fill out their online form - which I did. Now, on my part I put the wrong date, but received an email which I quickly changed to the correct date. No response on my email, so I called and spoke with the same man again. Again, he assured me I would get my machine on Friday for my party on Saturday -- in fact he was loading it as we spoke. He had many deliveries, but he was coming to my house in the morning. Around 11:00 am Friday I called to get an ETA and he was still delivering in Santa Clara so it would be later in the afternoon. I told him if I wasn't home to leave it in the backyard with instructions. When I arrived home Friday night about 9:30 pm after an event there still was no machine. I again called and he said he was delivering to a restaurant then my house and he'd be there by 10:30 pm. At 11:00pm I went to be. I called him first thing in the morning the day of my party and he said "who is this" so I told him and he said he had so many deliveries and I got shuffled out. He would be there in the morning. At 11:00 am I called Party Time Machines who not only had a machine - they delivered it within 30 minutes. I then cancelled with The Best Margarita. I never received a response. I can't believe this company is still in business with this kind of customer service. I was so unbelievably stressed out because of this, and I will NEVER use them again or recommend them. read more
