Beautiful work and excellent customer service! Tony was so patient with me from the time I walked into the shop until I received my sofa back. I had a white sofa and two dogs. The sofa was in great shape but the dingy white color as an eye sore. Tony helped me pick out a beautiful blue pattern and started his magic! I can't speak highly enough about this company. It's a family run business and the customer service is outstanding. I've been dealing with Tony Sr. and he was so helpful about how he could customize the driver's seat in my car so that it would be more comfortable for me, as have really bad back problems. Had a broken arm on my rocker for the longest time. When I went to them, I was impressed at their fabric selections and the amount of courtesy they provided. Was really sad that I couldn't save the original fabric from my great grandfather but I'm absolutely loving what it was replaced with. These guys are amazing in their responsiveness and willingness to explain things to you without making you feel dumb or an inconvenience. I had two great experiences with Central Valley Upholstery. My moms drivers seat in her Lexus was ripped about 6 inches. I came in and Junior showed me about 10 different leather and non-leather options for the repair with pricing. We chose the one that looked most similar and when I returned my moms seat looked brand new! After this, I decided to bring in my personal car, a Kia Sportage, to get the seat repaired and yet again, they did a phenomenal job! I have attached a photo of the before and after. The pricing was very reasonable and everyone I spoke with on the phone and in person was friendly, responsive, informative, and professional. The turn around time was quick too. I highly recommend! Tony and his crew at CVAU are amazing. They do all the vintage vehicles around town and their workmanship is first-class. I had them do the benches and beds on my 1954 Aljo Sportsman travel trailers, and they turned out perfect. Tony was so friendly and my items were done on schedule. My bed frames were loose and they repaired them without me asking, the old batting was worthless and they replaced it with high qualify foam. They sit and sleep very comfortably. They may do quality work but I could not comment. I came in to get a price quote for a reupholstered chair. The guy was abrupt and rude. When I realized I would not like work with them, he began to verbally attack me. He even followed me out to my car shouting personal attacks. I have never seen any business get so verbally abusive and UNPROFESSIONAL. So beware: if the guy does not like what he hears, you won't have such a pleasant experience. read more

Had the opportunity to take my 2000 Silverado to Central Valley Upholstery for a complete custom interior. The changes included all leather seats with suede inserts & embroidered bow ties, suede headliner, suede dash cover, black carpet, custom console cover, custom suede 2-10" sub box below the rear seat and sound proofing. I was amazed at the quality. They don't use seat kits. Instead, they order leather hides and build the seats from scratch. The stitching was flawless! My truck is now SHOW QUALITY and I get many compliments that prove it. I am thoroughly impressed with their quality craftsmanship and outstanding customer service. Central Valley Auto and Upholstery lie and cheat if they can be careful people. They agreed to do Roof and sunroof and pillars if needed. Job will take full day 8am to 5pm complete. He wanted $350 and I agreed. When I dropped of the car next morning at 8am, I remind them to do pillars and Tony told me whatever you want. I called noon time to check on it. Tony asked me again you want pillars done and I said that yes. Car will look nice. I told him must do middle pillars because seat belt marked and etc. Front and back pillars are ok. If you do all of them that make look nice. Richard called at 1:30pm and want $120 more pillars. He said middle pillars are hard to do because air and seat belt bitch area. It will take long time. I told him pillars were included in job and I do not want to pay any more. They did not do the pillars. read more

And the story of horror continues...we picked up our 82 Pace Car seats..finally and under a police escort ..in pieces and all dis-assembled. They had had these seats for close to 2 years and NOTHING...and I mean they did nothing to them..except take them apart and evidently lost a lot of parts. (Did I mention they were paid for too). So yesterday we drive to Classic Industries and while there we talk to the experts about how to find parts to the one of a kind Riccaro lumbar type seats made just for this car because we have a number of pieces missing. Guess what...nope...cannot fine these parts anywhere!!!! We will have to make these or ??? And all Central Valley could say was that we were lucky to get our money back...really ??? This is the worst place I have ever done business with. Attitudes and rude. Guess we weren't one of the home boys that they take care of. I wouldn't let them upholster my toilet seat!!! read more
