Fast forward to today, 4 months later ... our toddler locked herself (accidentally) in our room. We have very old door knobs/locks on all of our interior doors. I knew if I called the fire department, they'd just break the door. I took a chance and called Country Safe and Locks and the owner (didn't catch the name) pulled over to the side of the road to trouble shoot with me. He didn't have to do that as he was on his way to an appointment and would gain nothing from helping me but he did. The only way to get the door unlocked without breaking it was to drill a hole where the lock would be on the back side and pop it open that way. My husband was able to do that quickly and we got the door unlocked. I can't express my appreciation enough!! Please give them a call and use their services. You won't be disappointed.

These two things are what is mostly carrying the 3 stars they got. Ultimately they weren't able to get me into my car. While I'll admit my situation was a bit different than the "normal" customer, I'm still a bit disappointed they weren't able to get me into my vehicle. My car is a early 2000s BMW that has had most of the interior removed (unfortunately including the unlock button in the center console). My battery had died and I discovered that the lock cylinder wasn't functional, so I wasn't able to unlock the door with the key. The guy that came out tried the door handle with his hook through the window, but wasn't able to get it. He was apologetic, but in the end wasn't able to get me in to my vehicle. I ended up buying a cheap extended hook and door air wedge off of Amazon and was able to pull the hood release lever, connect jumper cables to the battery terminals and unlock the door with the key fob.
