"Driving" the truck, "flying" the airplane, and rolling the giant exercise balls on the second level are favourite activities too. The best part is the large separate snack area they have set aside for their patrons -- kids always get hungry and thirsty, and it is nice to be able to bring in our own lunch to save money and maximize our play time. They also offer beverages and snacks at their cafe. Their nut-free policy definitely gives me piece of mind when bringing my peanut-allergic son here. It can get busy if daycare groups are visiting, but the last Tuesday morning (when adults get in free) we were here, it was quiet and we nearly had the place to ourselves. Admission isn't cheap and entry is $13 and $8 for my two kids, but the amenities available more than make up for it when we do occasionally drop in. Great place - we will be back.

I was about to say I didn't realize the time and he continues to berate me by saying "get driving. MOVE! I couldn't believe it. I simply told him he was rude and then...he lays into me and says, "yeah...ok drive tough guy." what do you weigh 110lbs." WTF? I don't pay 100 dollars a month to be body shamed by my gym employees. You can find promo codes online to get $10 off. 3. Go on a hot day that has a small chance of rain so that less people go and the lines are shorter. 4. Stay until closing, 1 hour before alot of people start to leave so you can do your favourite rides a few more times!

He willingly went under water several times, and refused to get out even with his lips quivering. The Aquadome in Lasalle was amazing. There are slides for kids of all ages, (Liam was obsessed with the one in the baby/toddler area), and a neat umbrella which was his second favourite spot. The room for the party was spacious, yet simple. You can buy bathing suits and floating devices at the front desk and there is also a snack bar with tables and chairs in a separate area away from the pool. We didn't try the food since the party had its own food, but it looked amazing. The family changing area was great- quite a few stalls, several changing tables for little ones and many bathrooms, all of which, were very clean. You can tell the garbages are changed frequently. I was told the separate male only changing room was larger than the family one, but I obviously didn't see the inside of it for myself. The life guards do their jobs well and ensure a safe environment. They have their seats but also stand at different points around the pool so there are several vantage points. We will definitely be going back.

The locker room had dirt and hair all over the floor and oddly enough there were no hooks next to the showers (unless you count the moldy benches but I didn't want to place my stuff there) Once we got into the pool, I immediately noticed that the pool floor was slimy and grimy. I've never felt that before and figured it was chlorine maybe? When I got home and googled it .. it turned out to be algae and a sign that the pool is poorly maintained. They have 3 slides, the large main one was broken and the 2 small ones were open. So, I asked the lifeguard if I could put my 3 year old son on it and she said sure just catch him since he can't swim. I went to catch him as he came down the slide and he went so fast it felt like a blow to my chest. You'd think the lifeguard could have warned me how painful it would be to catch a small child off of one of these slides! The complex that this place is in seems interesting. They have a badminton room and indoor rock climbing. I might come here to check out more activities but no more Aquadome for me! Also, I went off hours, pretty late on a weeknight, and the place was still pretty crowded. I can only imagine how hectic it gets on weekends. Way too many people. I saw several employees just walking around (not even lifeguards) and I think they should have been testing the water quality, mopping the floors, and cleaning the pool. My daughter loved it but so did we! So much fun that you easily lose track of time. Jumping and doing crazy stunts can work up a sweat and the place is ideally well ventilated. What a cardio! All three of them are hooked on water! Her approach has worked to teach all three of my very different children, and she has been so creative and efficient when working with my middle son who has DCD. My only complaint would be my kids love the water TOO much now! They swim regularly and confidently in beaches and pools. While my 7 year old is now on a competitive swim team and wishes he could still get lessons with Karina. If you choose Nager Pour La Vie, be prepared to be spending a LOT of time at the pool! An extra bonus that they have a "plus" change-room and I had access to that as well since that was part of my membership which they also honoured. There's certainly bigger Y's than this one - including the one in my suburban community. But bearing in mind that they're in the heart of downtown Montreal, it's still a pretty good size with a bunch of amenities. The gym area is on the top (3rd or 4th) floor, so I caught the pool, a couple studios, gymnasium and others on the way up. The gym was fairly well supplied and should have most of what you're looking for. I mostly just use free weights and a running track anyway which they had available. The plus change-room was really nice! Funny enough it was quite a bit bigger than my local one, though the rest of the facility is smaller. The provide towel service, carpeted areas by the lockers, a large and well-functioning steam room and a large whirlpool. Just note that you'll need to have your own lock. My Y has a system where you can leave your card in the locker in order to bring a key with you, but this one you need your own lock. I'm not sure how it works for the other change-room. Glad I made my visit here to get energized and make a small dent in burning the excessive calories I took in on my trip to Montreal. Staff were really nice and helpful too.

The studios are pretty clean and spacious (though some classes are PACKED, even if it's inside the gym.) the change rooms are okay, I've never had issues getting a locker before. There are a variety of classes you can take and all of them are fun! I've tried quite a few of them and I don't remember any being bad at all. The teachers are great and are bilingual. Because classes are often busy, they can't really focus too much attention to you during classes. However, they are always open to speaking with you after classes. With the Y membership, you also get 10 friend passes to use and 2 fitness instructor training sessions. You have to renew your membership yearly (no, it doesn't just roll over). Staff are extremely kind and helpful in the front desk as well.
