I had been thinking about invisalign for like 5 years prior to this visit. When you first arrival, you have your consult with Michelle, She takes some pictures and talks you through the treatment. Then she introduces you to Dr.Korne and he answers any questions you might have. Let me tell you, I cried a lot during this process and it was literally just us talking. Michelle was super nice and reassuring. She was just such a ray of sunshine, that it was exactly what I needed to go through with getting this done. She answered every call and email with so much love and patience. You come back a few weeks later and they show you options of what they'd like to do for your teeth. It's actually really cool, they give you this log in and you can check the progress and what your teeth will look like. He gave me three options, which I really liked. One that was easier for me, someone with a lot of trauma concerning dentist. One that I wouldn't like but he really thought I would get the nicest smile with that option.. and a middle option. He gave me three because he wanted to do what I felt comfortable with. I ended up doing his option after much crying. (it was very much so worth it) Dr. Korne is nice and exceptionally talented. He would make an effort of dealing with my anxiety and tried to make me feel better, which was very sweet of him because I could tell he didn't understand where I was coming from. I appreciate his effort so much. :) Anna, takes a moulding on your mouth to really get the processes started. She's a bit rougher then I'd like and not as understanding, But she is very talented, patient and has a kindness to her. His assistant Jenny is my favourite! She's so kind and high energy. She was very sweet with the understanding of my anxiety and quickly understood how to work with me to make sure everything went as smoothly as possible. She made the experience at this clinic wonderful. This orthodontist is pretty expensive, But absolutely worth it. They offer payment plans as well and really work with you to make sure you can afford it. I never once felt like they were out to get my money. I love how Dr.Korne provides matching outfits for his staff. The two lovely ladies at the reception are always matching and it just makes me happy. They are so bubbly, sweet and just gentle individuals. I love walking into his office. All the technicians have matching outfits as well, it's just great! The office is bright and very clean. They don't offer parking however it's in an area of Westmount, That i've never had an issue finding parking. If you're petrified of the dentist/orthodontist, this is the office for you. I've never once felt stupid for crying because I was scared.. and I started this process when I was thirty.

I got my first appointment very quick, just days after calling! They were very nice on the phone…read moreand even nicer in person! This office is very modern... I would live there if I could! The Dentist is very nice, super fast and accurate in each procedure he does. The dental assistance are also very knowledgable and quick in assisting. I always had issues with being frozen (requiring multiple needles) but he got it on the first one! The side filling looks like there is nothing there at all (previously done and fell out but looked terrible while it was there). They work directly with your insurance so no need to pay 100% upfront and wait for your insurance company to refund you. I felt very comfortable and happy I found a new Dentist!

Dentist Tin Ly seems to be a nice guy but IMO, after years of observation, is limited in skills…read more He appears only to do cleanings, extractions and simple fillings. Mostly he refers anything difficult (such as crowns and root canal work) to his "specialist" friends. Three and a half years ago while extracting a bottom molar, he BROKE MY JAWBONE! Being elderly, I suspect the molar had become fused to the jawbone (a side effect of an osteoporosis medication I had been taking). Nevertheless, with great yanking and twisting effort, he extracted the molar. Sharp fragments of broken jawbone have been erupting and escaping from the hole where the molar had been ever since. I recently visited Dr. Tin Ly as the eighth sharp jawbone fragment was slowly and painfully erupting. Amazingly, he claimed that the jawbone fragment eruptions were not caused by his molar extraction done 3 1/2 years earlier (although all eight bone fragments have escaped from the very hole left by the extraction). He told me to "see a specialist" as there was nothing he could do. Word to the wise -- unless you need some very simple and basic dentistry, and are prepared to visit his "specialist" friends for anything out of the ordinary ... stay away.

Sloppy and cavalier approach to dental work…read more I regret choosing this office during my stay in Montreal instead of waiting a few weeks to get home. They "treated" an "emergency" without doing the proper due diligence (any at all) and ignored my questions and concerns. I now have a failed treatment and an actual emergency to deal with.

Went to get a general check up on my teeth and the lead dentist told me that my teeth looked silly (because I have vampires) and that I should get cosmetic treatments done, completely unsolicited. By far the rudest, most disorganized dentist I've ever been to.

Made an emergency weekend appointment due to a gum abscess that had gotten worse in recent days and…read moremy regular dentist couldn't see me soon enough. The receptionists at Alpha were very well organized and helpful, but the dental team present on a Sunday morning was extremely disorganized and not communicating well with each other or with me. No less than 4 different people came in and out of the exam room, asking the same questions and leaving. 2 different technicians had to repeat my x-rays a total of 4 times due to problems with their equipment. In the end they had to transfer me to a kids' exam room with a tiny radiation shield that barely covered me. When the dentist (Dr. Vinh) finally came in he didn't seem to have the background on my situation. Despite very clear symptoms of an abscess that had been getting worse for several days, he didn't take the time to properly locate it (it was in a tricky place under the jaw). Instead he quickly palpated around and concluded the pain must be coming from a cracked tooth or "just the shape of the jawbone rubbing against the gums." When the X ray showed no cracked tooth, he said I would just need to "get used to the pain" since it won't go away due to my jaw shape and try rinsing with saltwater from time to time. WTF?? If you don't enjoy being gaslighted and actually expect your medical professionals to have a modicum of communication and diagnostic skills, I suggest you go elsewhere.
