I was a guest for a wedding here so I cant speak to setting up and logistics of events. We were 8 minutes late to the wedding and they wouldn't let us outside because they just let the bride out to walk down the aisle understandably so we waited around inside with our kids. After 10 my minutes we ask if there was a spot outside that we could watch without interrupting and she said oh yes. Not sure if she was the event coordinator but she seemed frazzled. The buffet line was a poor set up. There were two entree option that you could chose from but they set it up on each side of the table but only one line. If you wanted water you had to go to the bar and wait in line. Upstairs guest were instructed not to move the table and I can see why. If you lifted the table the legs didn't go with it because they are not attached. Overall it's an okay venue with a dedicated parking lot. If you are looking for a one stop shop then check it out. Centurion Palace is by far one of the most unprofessional venues I've ever seen. My friend's wedding was supposed to happen in a week and a half booked a whole year in advance and they suddenly changed rules, switched up times, and acted like things they originally promised were never said. One of their own employees even told the bride and groom they could end the wedding around 11 PM, but then the "boss lady" tried to claim the contract said the complete opposite... while the employee was literally reading the contract out loud. How do you run a venue and not even know your own rules? Different staff members gave totally different information, and the "main lady" refused to work directly with the couple who PAID them thousands. Instead of fixing their own mess, they acted jumpy and offended because a stressed bride dared to be upset a week before her wedding. And here's the worst part They cancelled her entire wedding less than two weeks before the date and are now refusing to refund the money she paid for the photographer. They take your money, change everything last minute, and then punish you when you respond like any normal person would. No couple deserves this kind of disaster right before their big day. One thing that I have learned as being a photographer and now two as a potential groom, pictures/reality differ greatly. I have seen spaces that have been photographed poorly and are actually nicer in person and other times when the space looked amazing and was just OK in person. This venue I feel has been photographed really well. That's not to say that it is not beautiful, which it is. I just feel some of the photos are a bit outdated. The venue has been open for a little bit now and has seen some wear and tear. As far as some of the space in pictures it looks HUGE, in person it's still big not as gigantic. Overall, I loved the prices, VERY VERY reasonable. All inclusive start to finish. The biggest problem with this venue was the distance for me. It just took forever to get to from the city. Especially along I-45 on a weekend. I did end up taking an alternative route home, but getting there, I already did not want to visit. I am glad I did make the trip to see the space though. But that made me realize many of guests might have to drive an additional hour on top of that and I just couldn't put them through that. For anyone in the surrounding area, THIS IS YOUR WEDDING VENUE! It's pretty and very affordable. The people who run the place are wonderful, especially Pat, who also is the residing DJ. read more

My husband and I had our wedding ceremony at the end of July 2021. Let me start off by saying how AMAZING and accommodating the owners are. Two days before my original wedding date (in april) I was hospitalized, knowing full well that with only two days away that there was probably no chance what-so-ever that we'd be able to postpone, we reached out to the venue and asked, the owners were completely understanding and allowed us to pick a later available date once I was healthy again. Talk about miracles! Maria had the most beautiful décor, and literally answered any and all calls, texts, emails day noon or night from me. Pat was an incredible dj and had our guests out on the dancefloor the entire night! He also suggested his photography company to shoot for the wedding, today we got the photos back and they were absolutely breathtaking! Our wedding day was not only saved, but 100% improved and filled with bliss because of these wonderful people. I highly recommend anyone looking to get married to see this place first... it was first on our list of venues to see... and ended up being the last as we fell in love with the place and the people who owned it. This place came out so beautiful for the wedding! The outside garden for the ceremony was amazing and the inside for the reception had these beautiful chandeliers and tile floors. The owner Maria is super sweet, helpful and accommodating. The Dj pat was excellent (allowed me to give him specific time stamps for ceremony music and let me text the day before with changes!) Family owned and operated. Although my wedding day, their vision is their vision with some insight from bride and groom, how we wanted everything done was not fitting into Maria's agenda. When speaking with Maria (the true owner), she spoke about Hispanics and unruly children, she also spoke on a lesbian wedding a few weeks before ours where both brides wrote wedding dresses and how it was odd to her. The cake by Jula was the best cake is ever had and the food was great as well. Everyone had a great time and the gloves were not known to those not aware of the plan. The DJ, Pat did excellent but is also the person that went over our contract, pushed his photography company, which led to us getting rid of our photographer, and have been threatened by Pat that if we continue bad reviews we will not get the pictures. Wedding was July 21, 2018, today is December 11, 2018, still no pictures. We have been threaten with deformation of character, but nothing I am typing is false. We have reported to the BBB, but since the photography/video graph part is not part of the company, (Pat Carson) with Carson Entertainment, a loop hole, there was nothing that could be done. Our wedding was beautiful but there were many mishaps. It's sad that this has come to this. We have had $1500 stolen from us as we do not have our product. We were called on our Honeymoon because our MOH wrote a true review and Maria didn't like it. We have even been told that we won't get the pictures unless we apologize, yet they have our money. I stood in a wedding here about a week ago, and it was the worst experience I've ever had regarding a wedding. First and foremost, the bride had to decorate the entire venue herself, which caused her stress and a delay in getting ready. For what you're paying to rent the venue, I found it odd that there wasn't much help when setting the venue up. Secondly, the bridal suite was filthy. We were upstairs getting ready and the floor was sticky from weddings previous, and anyone who had their shoes off had black soles on their feet. The lighting was terrible for the makeup artist who had to use my phone as a light to be able to do her job. Our wedding "coordinator" came up and checked on us one time the entire time we were getting ready in the bridal suite. When we asked for a tissue since there was only ONE, we were told "do you really need more?" Due to weather problems, the wedding was moved indoors. At the rehearsal the day prior, we were told we would run through and inside option, never happened. The ceremony happened, and then pictures which were a complete disaster. The bride, groom, and bridal party got ONE photo together. No photo with just the groomsmen or bridesmaids. The bride wanted a "first look" which never happened. No photos of us getting ready. Very bare minimum. I had told the flower she could go upstairs to take off her sash and get different shoes on and sit in the bridal suite until the food was being served due to her having anxiety when around a lot of people...the owner had the audacity to tell her to go back downstairs and yelled at her. When confronted about this, she said "the bride and groom are coming down the stairs" later. They truly had no place to question and tell anyone else's child what to do, especially scolding them for doing what was already told. The wedding ended, and we were repeatedly told "you only have 30 minutes to get out or it's an extra $1000" while they stood there and did nothing to help. The bride and groom paid for 100 plates of food, which should have been in excess, but were never offered to take any food home. When asked what happened and why, they have been ignored. Just beware of this place. It seems like a great value and a budget friendly venue, but you get what you pay for. If you want bare minimum from a venue, this is your place, but if you go in with the expectations they place of a stress free day...go elsewhere. read more

Amazing!! STOP LOOKING AND BOOK HERE! My husband and I got married on January 13th of 2017, and it was everything we had hoped for and more! The owners are a husband and wife team that really do care about making your big day special. We moved from Colorado to Texas in August of 2016, and we had booked the venue in June, before we even saw it in person. I was nervous about booking a venue without touring it, but I am so glad we made the choice that we did! Maria, one of the owners, stays in contact with you throughout the planning process, and was always quick to respond to my sometimes too late at night texts! Her husband is the 'behind the scenes' guy, making sure the venue is set up the way you want it. He was also the bartender the night of the wedding, and he was so quick that a line never formed. The two of them are the most pleasant people I could have asked to plan our wedding with! The bakery that Centurion Palace uses makes the most delicious cakes, and going for the tasting was such a pleasurable experience. Jula, the baker, even helped me design a surprise grooms cake. All of the potential catering options for dinner were absolutely amazing, and we had a hard time deciding on which one to choose. We went with the Italian, and a month later, I am still having guests tell me it was the most delicious wedding food they've had! Their DJ, Pat, who is also the one you get into contact with about booking the venue, is very kind and helpful. He did a wonderful job of keeping the party going and has a great voice for announcing the members of the wedding party, the bouquet toss, etc. We bought the photography and videography package through him, and we are extremely pleased with the quality of media that we got. We also bought drone footage of our ceremony. Shelley is the wedding coordinator, and she also puts the finishing touches on the chair sashes, napkins, and other decor. She was simply amazing, she bounced between the guys and the bridal suite when we were getting ready to make sure we were all on schedule. She even did a great job of finding the groom when he had wandered out front before the ceremony to talk with family, and didn't falsely alarm me that "the groom was missing" until AFTER he was found! Haha! After the ceremony, she bustled my dress train when my maid of honor couldn't figure it out, and she walked us through each and every step of the reception, from the cake cutting to the bouquet toss. The package that CP provides takes care of practically everything, but your own clothing, hair/makeup, and florals. When I asked for a floral recommendation, Maria referred me to Heavens Rain florals, and Camilla was very pleasant to work with and design our bouquets. Our flowers were absolutely gorgeous. The venue itself is jaw dropping, with the ceremony site outside in a Tuscan garden with water fountains and a beautiful arch. They installed tall lanterns that lined the aisle the week before our wedding, and it was even more beautiful than I had imagined. Our guests told us all night long how amazing the venue was! We also got the photo booth that they offer, and turned it into our guest book. They provide props for your guests to pose with, and a photo booth attendant. I simply cannot stop raving about Centurion Palace. Their service, care, and all around attention that you receive is incredible. I highly recommend this venue to anyone that wants to plan an amazing event without stressing over every little detail, because they've got you! We're getting married here on 11/19 of this year and are so excited. I was very surprised to see a bad review. It feels melodramatic and exaggerated. This is an almost all inclusive venue: food, venue, cake ,bar etc the prices are extremely reasonable. What I have really LOVED about planning here is that they have the best vendors already picked out. Their cake lady is great, I designed my cake in less than 20 minutes, the food choices are great. Basically this is a place where you can just show up and get married. Most stuff is handled for you. Plus you get DJ Pat, who is the best. He is personable, funny, and very talented. He works in Vegas, and knows what he is doing. He is such a warm, friendly, and cool person. I will update my review after the wedding, but I'm pretty sure everything will be awesome. The venue was beautiful, the wedding was beautiful. There were hiccups with the electric that caused us to get behind on our hair and make up. We were rushed a lot throughout our pictures after the ceremony. The DJ wasn't listening to requests and some guests were telling me about it to where I had to go up and speak to him. The DJ also ignored my husband right after the ceremony when he was trying to explain the grand entrance song. My husband didn't like that at all because our entrance dance was messed up. But overall it was beautiful. I loved the whole set up and after the hiccups we were good. Sure I had some tears because I was being bothered by the coordinator and guests complaining about the dj but we all loved it. Maria is extremely patient and kindest lady ever! Soooooo beautiful! Just think Pat needs to calm down and hear us to confirm on the songs and pronunciations of names when being introduced to everyone. Love Maria! The venue itself seemed perfectly fine, the staff is the real problem I had. We were told the reception would last until 9:30. At 8:30 they did last call, ushered outside for sending off the bride and groom, and when we came back 5 minutes later they had taken our drinks as well as our party favors that we're sitting with our possessions. It definitely made we want to check my wallet to make sure nothing had been taken. One of the staff then told us the favors would be at the bar--we went up there and I guess she was the manager told us "they were all taken by guests." Well we were guests--who flew all the way from North Carolina for this--and we did not get our party favors. Then, as we were standing outside waiting for our Uber, the security guard questioned what we were doing and once we said were waiting for our ride he just left; like who cares if someone comes and attacks us in this dark lot because they turned all the lights and fountains off at barely 9pm. Beautiful venue, but poorly managed. Be warned, after they get your money, you won't hear from them. Despite their pitch that they handle everything, nothing will get done unless you stay on top of everything. There is little to no communication and in the end all they care about is your money. This isn't an "all inclusive" place like it's promoted as. Everything has add-on prices and they up sell everything. Consider the base price just a starting point. I recently got married at the Centurion Palace. What an amazing night! Everything was perfect and our reception was flawless. The planning process was a breeze. Maria and Pat kept in constant contact with us and they provided me with the dream night. The helped me with turning my vision into reality. Everything from the first time we walked in was awesome! Maria ideas and vision was great. She was communicated with me through out our process answering all my questions. I loved the fact that everything I needed was included. We even had the opportunity to upgrade a few items (added sparklers for our grand exit and had Pat as our minister) which added to the spectacular night. We even had our guests call after the event to comment on how wonderful our wedding was and how beautiful our venue was. The staff was amazing. We can not say enough about this venue.
