All of our communication was done by texting so he never even saw me again after the sale or thanked me in any way for my business, he just took the commission and not another word or thank you. And yes, there were issues he certainly should have addressed for me. The last documentation he sent me was to sign off that everything was ok - which it was Not. I do attribute a lot of this to his inexperience as he is young and I hope he's learning how to be a "fiduciary" which means you are supposed to have your client's best interests as a top priority, which from my experience with him, fell very far short.

I contacted Dan at Cardan Construction and he came out the next day to determine the cost of repairs. After his analysis he made his bid, we found it fair and gave the go ahead. The work was completed and the results were excellent. Dan met with me several times during the process and explained what was needed. He never went overbid, in fact came in under the estimated price. I would use this company in the future. They do good work.

We had a consistently negative experience working with a specific agent (not sure I can mention a…read morename so I'll reference Mr. E. ) at KW Commercial (two offices; one in Visalia and one in Fresno). Communication was quite low. Unless we asked specific questions, there was no information provided. Even one of the prospective buyer's agents was quite surprised about the lack of communication to us, the sellers. Here are some examples: * We had to go out and do research on comps, after the comps Mr. E supplied did not include many similar properties we KNEW had sold recently around us. These comps WE had to research supported a much higher price than he recommended. * Original pricing discussions were almost hostile. Mr. E. was practically adamant about a price that was nearly half what we ended up getting. Thankfully our own research supported a price nearly double of what Mr. E. was recommending. * When we had detailed questions about the agreement, Mr. E. was outwardly annoyed, pushing for us to sign. We did end up changing important terms based on our questions. * Mr. E had several conversations with buying agents, and did not share some very useful information that could have supported our selling negotiations. We actually found out some information FROM one of the prospective buying agents. This was quite shocking. * During negotiations, we were encouraged many times to just take the offer. When WE did research on the offering party, we found they had been buying adjacent properties for much higher prices, and our property would complete a block for them. WE had to do this work, and persuade our agent to stand firm to a price closer to our asking. It felt he worked against us, not for us. * Many many more examples over the months, but hopefully this gives you an idea. I would avoid doing business with an office that has agents who treat their clients in this way. In retrospect, we should have never moved forward with this agent and we do regret it. The only reason I gave 2 starts instead of 1, is that it seems there are likely other agents at KW Commercial that may be better suited to doing their jobs.

Had his relative do the job and he did it wrong found out later he put the cut side forward instead putting it in the back. His relative started 1 week before. Now the dust won't fall off the panels. It collects dust and makes mud when you try to wash off, because of the little ridge. I was charged a professional job and got a beginner. Will have to it re-done to make it right. He wouldn't listen to how I wanted he overcharged and the final work lack quality and was unprofessional. Hire at your own risk. I was very disappointed in the job that was done.

They gave me a good deal on my repairs, but that's the only positive thing that came out of it…read more I ended up with two new leaks in my roof and he they didn't clean up after themselves. I had a bunch of tarp nails all over my patio and backyard facing up...I had to clean it up myself because my kids play back there. And I had 5 bikes, 3 brand new, on my patio and they painted the board with some white paint and the mist from the paint came down on all the bikes. And lastly, they broke my Birdbath in my front yard and claimed it was "like that already" Luckily, I have cameras in my front yard and after showing him the proof, he gave me $30 to buy a new one. Overall, $1,600 for repairs, 5 bikes ruined from paint, I cleaned up their mess and they broke my birdbath. Oh, and almost forgot...they left big pile of singles on my roof in the front.
