I hired this company to do a repair on a rental home of mine while I was out of town. They…read moreresponded quickly and came out within a few days (unfortunatly, not quickly enough to prevent additional damage). They went up on the roof did an assessment and gave me a quote. I hired them for repair and even after doing their bid/quote they came back on the day of repair with more items to be fixed (which were issues, but they did not find them on their original inspection). I paid them the additional amount they requested and asked that everything be repaired. Now the big issue. During their repair work, while they were finding other issues they didn't see before, they found an issue with the soffit under the eave. A whole section was damaged very badly, essentially leaving a large gap into the attic. However, they never mentioned it to me at all. They completed their work on the roof, including the additional work they found on the day of repair, and then they just left. They left my house with a huge hole in it at the soffit and didn't say one word about it to me. Since this is a rental and I wasn't there, I didn't find that the problem wasn't fully repaired until many weeks later. Be careful hiring this company. If you do, I recommend you be on-site with them, overseeing their work...because you can't trust that they will do the right thing without being over their shoulder. They simply don't care about your property or protecting it from additional damage. They want to come in and get a quick payment and leave.

They came back and said they needed more money, so we gave them more than the estimate. The first rainstorm after they "repair" it, we had Niagara falls into our building. They came out, determined we needed further repairs for more money so we paid them. Now we have more leaks and they will not answer our calls to come out and honor the warranty that we have in writing. These are the shadiest contractors to hire, please do not do business with them.

Luckily, we had used Summit Fence before, and I remember it vividly. When Hurricane Rita came through (in 2005), so many fences were blown down, including part of ours. As I drove through the neighborhood, the only fences that I observed that were still standing had a "Summit Fence" placard on them. Okay, then I guess these are the guys I need to call. And, call we did. That fence was replaced in 2005 and the only reason that it came down this year was because a tree crashed through it. And it was a big sucker of a pine tree (around 80 feet tall), so it pulled up our fence on the other side of our yard, too. Yikes! Called Dee within days to get an estimate. He was here promptly and gave us a reasonable quote for cedar pickets, sturdy framing and rot board and haul off of old (now shattered) fence. And yeah! We got on the schedule and had it done quicker than we thought. Due to security and safety reasons (with our dogs, in particular), I was so grateful to get this taken care of. Great work, nice crew that did an excellent job and cleaned up after themselves beautifully. We couldn't be happier (unless, of course, the dang tree hadn't come down in the first place). Texas Greatest Remodelers were VERY SMARTLY PRICED compared to the others. and what they offered was the best of the four. 1) friendly project manager "MO" arrived ON-time measured my driveway and came up with a price right then and there. he explained what his company offers. No paying until work done and i'm satisfied. "mo" kept in phone/text contact with me the whole way and was present when work started and in/out throughout. i was invited to observe while men were completing work. 2) fair estimate with no surprises and no moving the goal posts, followed by contract. The contract made things EASY for my HOA as i sent the paper to them and they approved within days. 3) best quality. the other companies offered 3k to 3.5k psi concrete. TGR gave me 4.5K psi. Prompt service without compromising quality. Rain was in forecast and "mo" explained that rain may delay installation to ensure best results. it didn't rain afterall and the job proceeded on schedule! 4) I was thrilled with the beautiful job. so beautiful and no more big bumps and ugly cracks. Problem one my sprinkler heads had been damaged during work. MO investigated and promptly it was repaired. 5) 5 year warranty on work was sent to my email that is transferrable to the next owner of the home should i move. any remodeling, i will use this company

Their craftsmanship was exceptional, and their professionalism was evident from day one. From our first conversation, Jasper took the time to walk us through his portfolio and explain the different types of concrete, which really helped us feel confident in our decisions. We hired Cure-Rite Concrete for two major projects. The first was installing a brand-new three-car driveway with additional sidewalks and replacing the damaged concrete supporting the pillars of our garage apartment. The second project required them to travel nearly 20 miles to my parents' home to replace an aging boardwalk with a slanted cement walkway leading to the entrance, and to bulldoze a 50-year-old cement-and-brick pillar to make room for a small side patio. Their crew worked seamlessly across both properties, and impressively, both projects were completed within a week and done beautifully. We never had one issue with our new roof and if we need to replace the roof at our new home, we would use them again. Justin was incredibly communicative and accommodating. He checked in before the crew started working and gave me his cell if I had any issues. I felt terrible bothering him, but we had these rose bushes in the front yard and there were a few shingles that had fallen on just one of the the multiple bushes. I just mentioned it to him and it was immediately gone (it wasn't a big deal and they were being as tidy as possible, but the bush was full bloom and I love roses so I wanted to keep as many flowers as possible!)! He didn't seem bothered or agitated and someone on the crew even apologized to me. I had two smaller kiddos I was concerned about them getting hurt after the replacement, but the crew did a great job keeping the mess as organized as possible and they even did a second check, we had no issues at all after the roof was finished being replaced. I thought Justin, his crew, and everyone I encountered with Fair Claims did a great job. Also, my realtor, whose husband owned an appraisal company, referred me to them. Her and her husband both are very particular and she said they did her personal home, as well as many of her clients' homes and they had never had any issues either. At the time I made that proposal, I had not yet consulted with an attorney and was not fully aware of my legal rights. My offer was made in good faith in an effort to resolve this dispute. FairClaims did not accept or respond to that proposal at the time, the company ghosted me for over a year. The amount I offered would not even cover the cost of correcting the installation deficiencies & hiring qualified contractors to complete the outstanding work that FairClaims was paid to perform. FairClaims requested mediation, and I responded with a good-faith settlement proposal in the hope of resolving this matter. If Fairclaims Roofing / FCR Services is a honest company, they would want to do right thing, They would agree to a fair and reasonable settlement: 1) refund for work they failed to do and incorrect installation 2) cover all repairs and all outstanding work, however, based on the unreasonable settlement offer I recently received, I do not believe that their request for mediation was made in good faith to resolve this dispute, If this matter proceeds to litigation, when I am successful, I intend to seek all damages and remedies available under applicable law, including attorney's fees, costs, and any other relief authorized by law including RCAT and DTPA claims.
