I called ahead to check their store hours and availability of pre-arranged flowers. They had a nice selection of flowers and I was able to add a mylar anniversary balloon as the final touch. This local florist gets bonus points for being open on Sundays! I wanted to pick a local business to support, but found that a lot of florists were closed on Sundays. This place had a great selection of premade mixed or all roses bouquet. You can also build your own bouquet and have the option of purchasing a vase. The staff member who helped me out was super nice and since I shared it was my first visit, he let me pick an additional 3 roses to add to my bouquet for free! Boy let me tell you, I came in and right away went to the walk in refrigerator where they have ready made bouquets and noticed the price went up so I went and asked for help, the younger helped me but had an attitude the entire time, I said hmm. We were stopping in LA on our way to visit my boyfriend's mother for her birthday and wanted to pick up a bouquet of flowers. I looked up florists nearby and came across Century Flowers - photos made it look like a small local business so we decided to give it a try. They have a huge selection of stuffed animals gathered in the front, as well as packaged/gift boxed options. Towards the back of the store is where all the flowers are, in two separate fridged/temperature controlled rooms. They have single flowers for you to create your own bouquet, or pre-made ones as well. All of their arrangements are beautifully made, but it's nice to know if you want a specific flower mix, you can make it yourself! We ended up picking a pre-made bouquet and also decided to keep the vase that came with it. They wrapped it with tissue paper and a bow - total was around ~$19, which is crazy considering grocery store prices! Staff was extremely attentive - 3 different people asked if we needed any help! Stopped in for a bouquet before paying my respects at a cemetery. They have a whole section of pre-arranged bouquets, ranging in price from $20 to $65 or so depending on how large and what kind of flowers you want. It's about $3 cheaper to get your bouquet without a vase. I chose a mixed flower bouquet with no vase which came to about $22, more than fair. They wrapped the flowers in front of us with some nice tissue paper. I definitely recommend this local shop if you want some high quality and affordable flowers! read more
