It's honestly not that difficult to talk with the mortgage company to finalize the release of your settlement. Had I known that, I would have never hired FP&A to work on my behalf. I ended up having to handle the final release anyway! Fraser quit talking to me altogether! They got paid and I was left still fighting to get my mortgage company to release the remaining funds. I had zero clue what I was doing, which is why I enlisted Fraser's help. I ended up figuring it out because I was fed up with waiting on Fraser. I have all necessary receipts to show that Fraser quit on me. I emailed the company once everything was done and told them about my disappointment. The president of the company wrote me back, acknowledging my email, and saying she'd get back with me. That was March 2nd. It's now March 30th. Basically a month ago. I have not heard back, which proves my concern for their lack of follow through.
