The driver, an older white man, was extremely rude, entitled, and unkind. I did not feel comfortable during the entire ride. He scolded me for not having cash to pay, and I told him, "I understand that people can have stressful days, but you could at least be kind to others, especially when you are providing a service." In response, he became even more humiliating and drove away speaking in French. What makes this even worse is that when I called the company at (914) 723-0016 to report the incident, the person who answered dismissed my concerns and said, "He's just an old nasty grumpy man. What do you want me to do? There's nothing to feel unsafe about." That response is completely unacceptable. Customers are paying for a service and deserve to be treated with basic respect and professionalism. Being old does not make it acceptable to be rude, hostile, or verbally abusive, and the company should not excuse or normalize that behavior instead of addressing it.

The drivers are always on time and their service is superb. Within minutes of calling and make a reservation, I'll receive an email confirmation of all the details to make sure everything is correct. And /4 hours prior, I'll receive a text reminder , then 2 hours and then 15 minutes prior to the driver's arrival at my house. A few weeks ago, my wife and I were leaving for a vacation and truth be told, I had inadvertently given Ray the wrong date of our departure and realized my error when at 11pm on the night before we were leaving, I realized, I hadn't received our 24 hour notification. I checked my original confirmation and saw to my shock that I had given Ray the date we were going to be arriving at another island on our trip! I called frantically and got Veterans' evening service, the gentleman explained he'd have to call the owner to see if it would be possible to get a Druver on short notice. We were leaving for the airport at 7, in the morning! I waited on hold wondering what I would do , when the operator assured me that a car would be arriving in the morning. And two minutes later I received a texted confirmation of the correct pick up time! This is a great company, that provides wonderful service and in this case, also saved my marriage!
