I will start by saying that I cannot possibly describe how great bethel is. This is just an attempt. If you are looking for an officiant, hire her. Bethel made our wedding into an intimate, personal, funny and perfect day. Our ceremony was flawless, personal, made me giggle, and put my (now) husband at ease. It has taken me a month to write this review simply because it's almost impossible to put into words how phenomenal Bethel is. She truly made our ceremony PERFECT. It was 100% us, and I am so thankful for her. There's really not enough I can say about the magic that is Bethel. If you want a personalized ceremony, one that feels entirely curated around you and your partner's story, look no further. She will create a seamless ceremony weaving non-traditional, personalized elements with any "traditional" ones or traditions/readings that hold value to your family and make your wedding yours. The #1 comment on our wedding we have received from guests - by a long shot- is how uniquely personal the ceremony was. Many assumed we'd known Bethel for years - and to be honest, she will make you feel as comfortable as if you have. We are a 2020 wedding which shifted into 2021, and while we originally had not been able to get Bethel, she became available when we rescheduled. Bethel meets with her potential clients first to be sure it's a harmonious match and she understands your ceremony vision. From the very first zoom, my fiancé and I finally breathed a sigh of relief. Bethel understood us and what we wanted, and was the first officiant who had. She understood we wanted a personal, non-denominational ceremony, but had countless ideas on how to bring in some traditions, prayers, and emphasis on what was important to our families. Bethel gives "homework assignments" that allow her to get to know each partner in a very approachable way. We both have crazy schedules, and Bethel paces out the couple of assignments giving you PLENTY of time and making it super easy- and she's more than responsive and approachable when you need help. The outcome, the way she seams all your feedback together into a ceremony, is pure magic. She achieved exactly what we wanted- a non-denominational ceremony that felt every bit as sentimental and meaningful as a traditional religious ceremony, but felt 100% authentic to "us". The personal touches and some of the elements she helped us weave in were so meaningful to our families and friends, and completely unforgettable. On the day of, it was so apparent she was there for us, to support us, and give us the most special day possible - not to just get up and say a few words. Some of the tips she gave us or advice for the day of were GOLD and much different than those your coordinator would give you. She also made sure we stopped to cherish the moment a few key times I will be forever grateful for. I felt like she was sharing in every bit of happiness and joy, and was so very there for us. My husband and I met Bethel more than a year ago with plans to marry within a few months. I enlisted in the Navy and those plans changed and we had to postpone the ceremony two more times. We were looking for someone who could not only officiate our elopement, but help us plan the ceremony, and most importantly be as genuine and present as a lifelong friend. Bethel was exactly that. From our first phone call with her, we knew she was the right person. When we told her what we were looking for, we felt she asked the right questions and she immediately started putting things in motion towards making our ceremony perfect. Bethel offered sample readings, traditions, and vows based on our distinctive relationship and discussions of what we wanted. She genuinely listened to our stories about how we met, what we find special about each other, and why each of us think we're the luckiest guy on the planet. She took that information, along with our wording selections, and crafted the perfect ceremony tailored just for us, infused with elements of our unique love. During the ceremony, she put her heart and soul into the reading, truly feeding on our bond for each other. Bethel took the time to get to know us, and that came out in her delivery. To all who were there, it seemed like she had been a friend of ours since the beginning of our relationship.
