I flew all during the day just to go wait at a hotel that IM NOT STAYING PERMANENTLY to just wait in line for MORE hrs. Did not make it to the hotel until 1am just for he next morning wait an additional 4 hrs for a shuttle that NEVER came to go back and finish check offs that I'm late for. Also heard that while I was waiting for a shuttle, there's a line wrapped around the building for check offs. This is my worst experience ever. I will not be working a strike with AMN in the future.

I referred a friend who has now done 2 contracts with them and I have yet to receive my referral bonus. As with the previous reviews this company has an issue sending out their measly referral bonuses that they offer. It is not even a large amount of money... the corporate greed is sad really.... They make millions and they don't want to send us a couple 100 for our referral bonuses.. astonishing. It's now 2.5 months I'm waiting for the referral bonus.

True professionals who have consistently exceeded our expectations! I am so grateful for her caring staff who have been so kind and reliable. They have become part of our family this past year. My father-in-law has actually improved despite his diagnosis. The owners, Suzie and Max, have always made themselves available for anything we have needed and even helped arrange other services like transport free of charge. It's very heartwarming to work with a company that genuinely cares about the wellbeing of our family. If you need help, this is the company you should call!!

The doctor recommended hiring a homecare company to provide assistance. He referred a company but things didn't work out. A close friend recommended Aadvanced Nursing and it has been a lifesaver! The caregivers have all been professional, knowledgeable, and very compassionate. Suzie the owner is extremely hands on, she went above and beyond to answer any questions and assist us throughout the past year. Our whole family is very grateful for Suzie and her team of caregivers and wonderful office staff. The pandemic was a curveball for all of us but they didnt miss a beat and quickly adapted and continued providing an exceptional level of quality care while taking the proper precautions to ensure the safety of our grandfather. We would definitely recommend Aadvanced Nursing without hesitation! Just an FYI: there is another company named "Advanced Home Health" with one "A" in miramar. They are not affiliated with Suzie and her company "AAdvanced Nursing and Home Health" in Del Mar. I almost left a review for the wrong company!

As my father in law is now approaching 102 (next month), the level of care is now essential and "round the clock". With us living on the East Coast and for my wife's father to be able to remain in his own home, having a fully reliable and conscientious service was not only very important but now has become a true requirement. Because of the commitment and dedication of the owner and a number of also extraordinary staff members, we believe that the care provided has most often been truly excellent. Over now more than 2 years, Assisting Hands has earned our Trust and Confidence. When a caregiver was unavailable, Assisting Hands has always been agile and "there" to assure continuous "on site" coverage, without exception. We thank the owner and a large number of caregivers for their fine efforts, often exceeding high expectations, and delivering a level of service that has permitted my father in law to be able to stay in his home, as he very much wanted and currently desires. Should there be any questions that could be addressed by us, kindly contact the owner of Assisting Hands for our Western, New York contact information. It is true for us that a partnership with an organization such as Assisting Hands works best when there is an active family support person(s) in full contact with the service provider. The owner of Assisting Hands has gone well beyond more than both normal and high expectations to personally do everything possible to provide quality, timely, and proactive service. We have been very impressed and appreciative for the excellent overall personal services received. We very much recognize what Assisting Hands has provided for our family. We are grateful to my wife's sister for finding Assisting Hands and initiating its services, and to Nina for her caring approach in running her business. JGU

Use at your own risk. We hired them for 2 weeks of temporary care support for my grandmother 2…read moreshifts/day for 12 hours total. The hourly rate was $42/hr which is far above the cost of private care, but we were willing to pay it because of our unexpected urgent need. 1. I was sent a schedule with names of caregivers, but very often the person who showed up wasn't who was on the schedule, which was confusing for both my grandmother and our family. 2. On the 2nd or 3rd day, we got a call that the person scheduled for the evening shift could not make it, and i was called and texted 3 times urgently while i was in a work meeting. The scheduler asked if they should cover the shift - like what??? of course YOU should cover the shift, and why are you waiting on me to confirm this before attempting to cover? 3. A caregiver who was scheduled multiple times, Beatriz, spent more time on her phone than caring for my grandmother, even though we agreed to light housekeeping and some meal prep - there was always something she could have been doing. I could have hired anyone to sit with her and be on their phone. 4. Yesterday, 6/10, we had a shift scheduled to being at 8PM. I got a text message at 7:55PM stating that the caregiver scheduled was going to be an hour late due to 'traffic.' There was no traffic in San Diego - I Checked the sig alert. And WHY would I only be notified 5 minutes before the scheduled shift that there was an hour delay? Well an hour passed with no update from the scheduler. I called my grandmother and no one was there. At 9:30 I got a message that the caregiver had crossed the border and was on her way. At 10:05, no one had yet arrived and I had my keys in my hand to walk out the door to drive the 30 minutesto do her evening routine-- only to get a text that finally the caregiver had arrived. This serivce is NOT reliable NOR are they providing the level of care priomised at consult. At this point, I dont trust this group to arrive for thier shifts OR provide any service when they are there. I got a call from AMY today to discuss my concerns and she basically displayed no empathy for my experience - just said she would talk to the employees in question, and essentially confirmed that this is the way they do business. I said I would like the caregiver to come tonight as scheduled, and then will not be signing up for any additional services. At 3:30P today, I got a call from yet another manager who said that they cancelled the caregiver scheduled tonight - I called back and left a voicemail, but I don't know why I am surprised - this is par for the course for my two week relationship with this SHAM of a company - it was neither convenient for the family managing the care, NOR was the care consistent across the employees, NOR could I rely on them to show up when agreed upon. It felt like every day was a crap shoot and a drama.
